          Pleasant and informative
This was an evening trip to see two temples up the mountain. Which I didn't appreciate at first, I thought it was a walking tour to see the temples in the Old City. We went to see the Temple with the tunnel, and then the really big one on Doi Sutep, the White Elephant Temple. As I had just arrived in Chiang Mai I was not aware of any of the differences between one Wat and another. It was a really enjoyable trip seeing them and learning about the differences in pagoda and sutep. The guide Mr Ching was interesting and knowledgeable. I would have like to have made more of the sunset moment foe photos up at the Tunnel Temple. It was a pleasant trip.

Great trip, best viewed at night
Great trip combining visit to 2 temples, the first is Wat Umong, 700 year old Buddist temple, the main draw is that the there are tunnels below with ancient murals and bats hanging from the ceilings, there are lots of chickens at the temple and an area with ancient artifacts, its a very interesting site. the second temple is Doi Suthep which is further up the mountain, it is breathtaking at night with stunning views over Chiang Mai, it is only accessible by a huge number of steps or a Furnicular, it is beautiful at night, the only issue I had was that there was not a huge amount of time to explore the temple grounds

Excellent 7 temples tour in Chiang Mai!
Our tour guide, Game (not sure about spelling), spoke excellent English and had extensive knowledge of both Lanna history and temple architectural styles. She answered our questions about Buddhism, temple life, and the role of monks and both thoroughly and clearly. Game was highly professional and personable.

Very good trip but it could have been better if we had arrived in time to watch the sunset. Excellent nighttime views of Chiang Mia. Wonderful temple.

Evening views of Chiang Mai and temples
A worthwhile trip to see two temples out of town . These include one at the top of the mountain , from where you get a great view of Chiang Mai at night . You have options of climbing the 300+ steps over taking the short vunicular ride. The journey also provides a better perspective of the broader city of Chiang Mai. Overall a god trip and very good value for money.

          Cultural significance
For visitors to Chiang Mai these are the crucial experiences. I especially enjoyed the visit to the Hmong village. Our tour guide apologized repeatedly for her English skills which was very gracious. There were times that she was hard to understand. However, her real-life insights and storytelling were excellent and could not be gained otherwise.

Tour exceptional with few things to tweek.
The experience of the tour was amazing. Our tour guide was great, knowledgeable and kind. It's definitely special going in the evening and seeing the temple at night and the city from up above. My only down points of the tour was, the drive up the mountain was a car sick passengers nightmare. I had to resist throwing up few times. Also, the tour says a max and in my tour it was two vans. Hard to enjoy when not all of us can fit in the area to hear the tour guide. Other then that I would go again in a heart beat.

Stunning views with a great guide!
We got to see two of the temples outwith Chiang Mai that we may not have got to see otherwise. We were picked up and dropped back at our hotel which was nice and easy. Our guide Game( apologies if i mispelled that) was lovely and knoweldgeable and allowed the perfect mix of time informing us of local history and culture whilst lwtting us wander on our own to take photos. They also offerred to take photos for participants too which was nice. Would highly recommend! Thank you for a lovely tour 😊

Doi Inthanon is definitely worth a trip out to see if you’re staying in Chiang Mai! It’s a beautiful site that you’ll get to explore on your own and walk around at your own pace once arriving.
The other stops at the waterfalls were also really cool to see the nature outside the city. The village visit was interesting to hear about the work they do and sample some coffee they grow as well as tea.

After reviewing the many companies providing this tour and based on previous reviews, I enjoyed this small group day tour. As advertised We visited a white village, waterfalls, highest point in Thailand within the Doi Inthanon National park. Gee ( not sure of spelling) our guide was informative and always offering to help. My Wan or Wang was a racing car driver for our small 12 group- very fast but I felt safe throughout the trip along the winding road! I think the time allocated at each stop was adequate. The lunch included was pleasant and plentiful. I would recommend this trip as it includes all entries and lunch.

The tour was very well coordinated and the park was beautiful. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Without knowing much about the park, it felt that we saw everything we should have seen that day. There were two surprises that were not in the itinerary, a coffee and tea tasting and a visit to a small market. Both were wonderful additions. I would recommend this tour!

Indicated 12 people max in tour, but we had 22. They combined two vans for 1 tour. Tour guide kept changing vans
Hard to hear your guide when sitting in back of van. He spoke broken English so trying to translate and hear was difficult. Too soft spoken
Not a great guide. Basically just told where we were and when to be back. No additional info was given on history of the area
Was disappointed when we got to the highest point. Guide basically walked us around a trail with no opportunity to take in what we were looking at. Didn't allow us to stop and take a picture with the famous sign that said "highest point". The stop at Ban Mae Klang Luang was a joke. No watching and culture. It was a quick stop to eat then move on to a sales stop to buy coffee. No watching people in their environment.
Got back to hotel around 7-7:30, not the 5 or 6 like advertised which messed up our evening plans.

Average tourist trap sights. Tour description says maximum 12 people and they certainly crammed 12 people into a mini bus. Long drives with not much to really see. Waterfalls were nice but nothing spectacular. Mountain village - there were loads of buses and tourists. Being one of what get like hundreds of other such buses was a disappointment. Our guide was fine, very pleasant and approachable, although their job seemed to be more was more about directing toilet breaks. Go if you want to see countryside and have limited time to do so, as we did,

The positive part is the Park itself. The nature is beautiful and we wished we could spend several days there. But here comes the negative : the tour. We (and nobody in the car) could understand a single word of what the guide was telling us during the drive. He spoke low and unclear while the motor of the car was very loud. We were taken to two unimpressive waterfalls, where we spent 20 minutes to take pictures. We were then taken to a village, where we could buy touristic overpriced stuff. Then came a rather touristic market, which was followed by an average lunch. 15 minutes at the highest peak in Thailand is something totally skipable. The very last stop were the pagodas. These were the highlight of the trip. In general the tour felt more as if we had booked just a driver but we stopped at places we wouldn't have stopped at if we would have booked one. This feeling was shared with many of the other tourists who joined the tour. Book something better if you can...although options without elephant rides and without visits to the long neck communities are scarse on the market.

Tour guide was fun, stayed with the group, told us good facts. Everything was timed very well. Didn’t feel rushed, but also didn’t stay anywhere too long.

They started us at a coffee farm and showed us the growing and roasting process. Gave us espresso and offered coffee soap. They did not pressure you to buy something like a lot of places do, but it was such a good price I wish I had bought some!

The actual highest point doesn’t have good lookout views, but there are a lot of pretty views throughout the tour.

There are better views than the photos I included, but these are some fun ones from my phone.

after an initial S.A F.U on picking us up at The Gate( We were not aware of the use of Whatsapp) and The Driver was not holding a sign) I phoned The Chicago office abs got the phone number of our driver and sorted it out.

Kenny our driver was professional, courteous, and informative. a very nice experience on our tour of The waterfalls, village and stunning Pagodas.

I was very cramped and uncomfortable setting in the very back, but, when I asked to set up front with Kenny, all was well.

thank you for a wonderful tour!

Definitely worth a visit - very beautiful waterfalls and temples and short walks. Unfortunately our tour guides heart really wasnt in it - he just seemed bored and eager to get the day over with, which impacted on the enjoyment of the day a bit. I guess i would also feel the same on occasion but it was a bit disappointing to not have an enthusiastic guide

Our tour guides name was Y. He was pointless. He was our English speaking tour guide but he hardly did any speaking about the history of the places we visited. He was basically there to tell us where the toilets were. The lunch stop off was crap. The food was already on the table when we arrived so who knows how long the flies were settling on our food for? It was a 2 hour journey to get there from the old city. We were mainly in the mini bus the whole time of the trip.
