We took a gamble booking this since there were no reviews, and I so glad we did. This was the highlight of our two week trip! Our guide, A, was phenomenal. He is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He even gave us some wonderful recommendations for local restaurants (The House by Ginger was our favorite restaurant). The day was packed with enriching experiences, great food, and gorgeous views. It might sound overstated, but it truly was a life changing experience!

We enjoyed our Chiang Mai 1/2 day tour with Chayanisa Lanna Singhasen (goes by Lanna) so very much. She was completely organized and prompt, and all the logistics were without a hitch. Lanna has so much historical and cultural knowledge of the sights, that we enjoyed the amazing temples on a much deeper level. Our tour included Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Wat Phra Singh, Wat Chedi Luang and the Warorot Market. The tour was everything we hoped, and we highly recommend that you enhance your trip to Chiang Mai by travelling with Lanna.

If I could rate Lanna 10 stars I would. She was an incredible tour guide. I wanted a more customized tour and she definitely provided that. She was so responsive to our needs and everyone in our party felt that she went over and beyond the call of duty. In fact we had a problem getting to another tour and she intervened with the other tour guide. Everything turned out well and she met up with us, we all ate together and then we resumed her tour with us!! There are so many more things she arranged for us. Please do not hesitate to book with Lanna she will make your trip Amazing❣️

We were picked up by Lanna and Peter (the driver). Instead of 3 of us going on this tour, it was just 2 of us because my husband was ill and couldn't make it. When I told Lanna of this change, she offered several very helpful suggestions to help my husband, who was having digestive issues. After stopping at 7-11 to pick up some stomach relief tablets, we headed out to the tour, leaving my husband in the room to rest and recoup (at his request) Lanna accommodated our request to change the itinerary from what was posted. We began at War Prathat Doi Suthep Temple, then made our way to the beautiful Orchid Farm, where we had a most amazing lunch and spent time enjoying the orchids and butterfly garden. From there we headed to the Long Neck Karen Tribal village. The day was perfect and Lanna was a most amazing guide. Her English was perfectly fluent and she answered all of our questions, as well as provided much historical information. She was kind, friendly and very easy to be with, which made the day quite enjoyable. Thanks, Lanna, for your excellent customer service and expertise, which made our day!! We highly recommend taking a tour with Lanna, who will customize the day to your wishes!!!

I planned my first trip to Chiang Mai and wanted a unique experience and the possibility to do some photography with a local guide. Seeing the advert from Lanna to visit Doi Suthep, Wat Umong, Bai Orchid-Butterfly Farm and Bua Tong "Sticky" Waterfall I thought this is perfect as it will give me a taste of the area. Lanna was very friendly from the start and she was fun to be with for the day. She was very patient when I wanted to stop and take some photos and was flexible with the timing of leaving one place and going to the next. She had so much knowledge about the places we visited and she willing answered any questions. She made the whole day interesting and did not just repeat facts but provided explanations that kept your attention. One point we discussed was future trips and the possibility of going somewhere off the beaten track to avoid the crowds including waterfalls and overnight stays in Doi Inthanon. Lanna made the whole day a lot of fun and it was a pleasure to have her as my guide and I cannot recommend her enough. I am looking forward to my return trips to Chiang Mai and adventure to Doi Inthanon.

She came up with a detailed itinerary, arranged for a minivan and an excellent driver, agreed to a fixed price ahead of time, picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off at our hotel after we were done, took care of all the logistics (tickets, entrance fees, lunch, water, etc.), provided excellent informational commentary throughout, answered all of our questions, etc., etc., etc... She speaks very good English and responds to inquiries very quickly. It can’t get any better than that. We highly recommend her.

Worth getting a private tour in Chiangmai... Kte was great and helpful. He even took me to an authentic northern Thailand restaurant for lunch.

Lanna's private tour of Chiang Mai was one of the highlights of my time in Thailand. She was very knowledgeable of the cultural and political history of the region. She gave my group an art history perspective of the construction and artwork within the 3 temple destinations in the tour. A major highlight was visiting the local Warorot Market. Lanna took us to food stands within the market and encouraged us to try speciality items, like mangosteen, durian, and local sausages (simply delicious!!). This is a local market where english is not widely spoken, and without her guidance we would've felt very lost. She is warm, friendly and prompt - I'd recommend her tour to anyone visiting the Chiang Mai region. Thank you so much Lanna!!

Very kind and knowledgeable, my wife and I had a blast. From eating new things, to petting the tigers and shopping at the market we couldn’t not asked for a better experience. And let’s not forget her Good English :)

We had a blast on Lanna’s food tour!! She convinced us to eat some pretty crazy snacks but also introduced us to traditional Thai dishes! It was like hanging out with a friend all evening—- she is so sweet, energetic, and knowledgeable about Thai culture/religion. Definitely recommend!!

We booked Lanna for a half day tour of Chiang Mai. We were so happy with her tour that we asked her if we could continue after lunch. She agreed without hesitation and provided a day that surpassed all other tours in Chiang Mai. Her explanations about the temples, sites and markets were interesting and valuable to our experience there. She is warm, interesting and knowledgeable. She picks you up in a nice air conditioned van. We loved her so much that we hired her for the next day. Unfortunately we had to cancel because I got sick and required a trip to the doctor. Lanna took us to the doctor, translated and advocated for me. I don’t know what we would have done without her! She was our true hero! I would not hesitate to hire Lanna as your tour guide! I can’t put into words the value of having Lanna as our private guide in Northern Thailand. At first we were hesitant due to the additional expense since we were traveling with two teens for 3 weeks in country. Our time in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai were the best 6 days of the trip largely due to Lanna’s customized itinerary. We saved so much time and expense by working with a knowledgeable guide who maximized each day giving us an adventure of a lifetime. We also had a private bus/driver so we were never rushed (especially when the kids wanted to stay longer to swim at waterfalls) and stopped when we were hungry and even squeezed in and extra stop at a market when wanting to shop. I would have NEVER been able to get it all in if not for Lanna. She also introduced us to new foods, off the beaten path hikes and cultural interactions we would not have been able to do because of our lack of the language. We highly recommend Lanna to anyone visiting Thailand, it will elevate your experience and quite frankly I think she saved us $ on food and travel as well. Our inerary included: Several beautiful Temples, Tiger interaction, private Elephant Sanctuary with local family, Sticky Waterfall Hike, white Temple and Golden Triangle, Monkey Temple, several night markets, large beautiful waterfall at highest point in Thailand, floating market, Long neck Karen Tribe visit and so much more!
