Thanks to all the staff particularly the two guys that rode with us. Very professional, very safe and a whole lot of fun! The views at the top of the mountain were spectacular! Add this tour to your to do list when you come to Chiang Mai. You won’t regret it!

It was January so water levels were on the low side, but that accentuated the technical characteristics of the rapids. Some pretty good wave trains and quite a few class 3 and 4 rapids, in quick succession. Less floating and rowing required than in rivers I’ve run in California. Plus we saw elephants 😀. Safety was emphasized, with two kayaks following six boats. Overall it was a fun experience.

Very professional organization - from the moment they pick U up from your hotel to dropping U back. Very nice and fun-to-be-with team. Simple but tasty lunch. Now - the ride itself - it’s a good mixture of rough terrain, river and river banks bs paved roads. If you ask the leader for more „rough” - you will get just that, but if prefer a little easier - it’s also ok. ATVs are simple to operate (initially they take you to a practice ground) and one doesn’t need to have experience (although this is not strolling down main avenue of a city). The views are gorgeous. One gets to see the lions too. I highly recommend. Some people were combining the half day ATV tour with rafting (same operator) and if you want to be out there all day - it’s a good idea.

The whitewater adventure with 8Adventures was amazing: very well organized and fun from start to finish. We did the 10km route (that includes the most intense rapids) and we’d recommend this option to anyone who isn’t afraid of swimming and likes a bit of a thrill. The team that was supervising the rafting was extremely professional and took safety seriously. In addition to the required information session, throughout the rafting we were guided by a skilled captain who would give us simple commands on when to row and when to get down and hold on. At all times, we were followed by trained professionals in kayaks ready to fish anyone out who’s fallen in the water. The rafting itself was super fun! The adrenaline of it all and the unforgettable experience of floating through the beautiful jungle. Great activity to do as a family, as a couple or with friends. Oh, and they’ll take pictures for you! Finally, in terms of logistical details, everything from prompt pick up to free cocoa to a plentiful lunch with fruit was super well thought out. Highly recommend!

Our whitewater rafting trip was fabulous. The staff were punctual on pickup. Communication about all aspects of this day adventure were excellent. We had a wonderful time and our guide was knowledgeable and fun. We would all highly recommend this activity.

Travelling with our two kids age 12 and 13 this was the perfect day out! Highly recommend this very professional company. We were collected promptly and received an excellent safety briefing both on arrival via video and in person before getting in the boat. Our raft pilot Dio was excellent and there was a good mix of enjoying the scenery and oaring … the rapids were very doable and just the right amount of excitement … we had a bit of a swim part way down the river and returned to a delicious lunch (the soup was amazing!!!) before being dropped back at our hotel. The photo pack was worth the extra purchase with a photographer in a few spots along the way catching the enjoyment of all. There were lockers to keep our bags and gear while on the river, hot showers after if you wished, and the gear was in great condition. There were extra guides in seperate kayaks to assist if any trouble was encountered … none was :) I understand that kids under 15 cannot do the full 10km as there are some bigger rapids so this 8km was just right … we saw the photos of those that went the full 10km on the big screen after while eating lunch and it looked awesome too! It was great fun to all of us. We are so glad that we have chosen 8 ADVENTURES for our ATV trip. The staff are so nice, professional and caring during the whole trip. The ATV gear is so protective and professional compared with other groups. We definitely will advertise and recommend 8 ADVENTURES group to my friends who will go to Chiamgmai.

This is a very smoothly run, professional operation. Booking the adventure was easy, communicating pre adventure for pick up (we drove to 8 adventures and they allowed us to park there as our hotel was outside the pickup range) was responsive and easy, the base camp was beautiful and organised into each adventure type, the rafting guides were so skilful and friendly, we saw elephants watering themselves in the river as we paddled, the adventure was exciting yet safe, the food at completion was so tasty and the adventure finished on time. The only feedback I could offer for improvement was to have some more drinking water at the departure zone before getting onto the rafts into the river. Brilliant business

It’s an amazing experience. The tutors are really helpful and nice. They ensure your safety. when I had difficulty controlling the car, they arranged a back up driver for me.

We were having fun during the tour, two coaches are professional and take care of us very well, we do enjoy the tour so much, if we go to chiang mai again, we would definitely join the tour again

What an amazing day we had , a highlight of our holiday . So well organised it was amazing . Food , staff , facilities - couldn’t be better .
