        MUAY TBAIN.
Muay Thai for tourists!! There were 7 bouts, only one seemed serious, the others were a joke. One guy posed for 3 rounds and never touched his opponent!!..... The women's category was the heaviest, but the chubby girl, having a large strapping on her knee, never had any problems, as her opponent didn't think to kick her on her weak knee!!!!! If you're into serious Muay Thai, then avoid. If u want to go and enjoy a "Tourist Show" then go ahead.......

        Rafting in the sunshine!!
I took my 14-year-old nephew rafting, and we had the best day! Tom, Meme, and Momo from Khampan Rafting made a great team, well organised from the hotel pick-up to the rafting safety briefing. We knew exactly what we were doing, and they explained the small changes that were being made to keep us safe with the current conditions on the river (post-floods). We had a great group of outgoing international travellers that made the day, too! We rafted for about 12 km, a mixture of rapids and calm stretches, right down to the elephant sanctuary. Lunch was simple and tasty, with freshly made Pad Thai (vegetarian) & fruit suitable for all taste buds, bottled water was plentiful, and a short hike to the waterfall to complete the day: home late afternoon, seamless service end to end. Tom, our guide, shared all the photos he had taken of us from various vantage points along the way, airdropping 98 pics and 11 videos - free of charge, a nice touch when lots of companies charge you extra for this service. If you like adventure, fun, nature and time off your phones, get out and go rafting!

Thrilling ride in a beautiful location!
We enjoyed the zip line experience. We felt safe & felt that the operators knew what they were doing. The lunch we had was nice & we enjoyed wandering around the facility taking pictures of the location in the mountains. We had some extra time while visiting Chiang Mai & we are very glad we choose this adventure!

Excellent service, experienced tour guidetour guide
Excellent day tour! I loved the experienced tour guide "Pingpong" who explained lots of interesting details about the local culture, people, agriculture and sense of community. He was very gentle and careful with the whole group! The driving and local food service were excellent!!! I strongly recommend it!

        Well worth the money
We really enjoyed the experience - the guides were excellent and made an effort to get photos and videos of everyone. It was definitely worth the money as there were many ziplines and the luge track.

        Amazing and MUST DO!
The location was amazing. The safety gear and briefing given was too good. All the lines and platforms were very well maintained and there was not a single time that safety was compromised. The guides assigned to us were amazing and they ensured the energy levels stayed up throughout. We also loved the Luge! This surely was my highlight of Chiang Mai!

Poor Organization and No Customer Service
We booked two tickets, but the driver had no space for us in the car. On his advice, we tried to reschedule for the next day, but the organizer didn’t respond or offer a solution. No service, no apology, no refund – absolutely disappointing. Not recommended!

        A great day!
It is great that you can be picked up at your hotel. There is a fair bit of driving, but I listened to an audible book. Our guide was fantastic! (Waan) The elephants were my favorite and really made the day for me. Lunch and water were provided before heading off to see the beautifully landscaped Royal pagoda. I'm not sure of the proper terminology. It was at one of the highest points in Thailand, so the view was beautiful. We then were taken to a new spot for a lovely walk in the woods and through some villages and farm land. We sampled local teas and coffees at the end. A great day full of beauty and history.

Nust do in Thailand, but is it the rioght place?
Not sure of the value of booking on advance vs. buying at the ticket price on site. The VIP section has a beautiful view at the right level and free beer but is very cold (AC). Overall the facility was quite empty and sleepy atmosphere.

Wonderful experience amidst the greenery of Thailand
This tour was absolutely amazing and well worth both the time and money spent! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature, enjoys hiking, and wants to experience the lush "green beauty" of Thailand, complete with stunning trees and hilly landscapes. The hospitality of the driver and the tour guide was exceptional, far exceeding our expectations. They were very attentive and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the day. The lunch (included in the cost) was delicious and healthy—authentic Thai cuisine, freshly prepared and bursting with flavor. The tour featured multiple stops. We visited two breathtaking waterfalls, both of which offered incredible views. There were also two nature treks, which allowed us to immerse ourselves in the greenery, with plenty of fantastic photo spots along the way. Additionally, we visited the stupa/memorial for the King and Queen, surrounded by unreal views of the town below and immaculately maintained gardens with flowers. To top it off, there was a coffee-tasting experience where we also bought some souvenirs. The entire day was perfectly organized. The van was comfortable, and we arrived back in Chiang Mai on time. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll gladly give it 5/5 stars!

Excellent Guide, But Dangerous and Reckless Driving Overshadows the Experience
I'm really sorry to have to give a negative review, as our guide's effort was excellent. However, I find the reckless and dangerous driving of our driver truly unacceptable. In 10 hours (yes, because the tour lasted more than 10 hours, not 8), we felt like we were on a Formula 1 car, with dozens of cars systematically overtaken (even in spots that were objectively very dangerous, with blind curves just a few meters ahead), the use of emergency lanes to bypass traffic at traffic lights or for overtaking on highways. I am fully aware that road safety awareness is different here compared to other countries, but this really went beyond the limit. Driving like this, with 11 people’s lives at stake, to "save" 30 minutes on the return time to Chiang Mai makes no sense! And if the tour, despite this, lasted more than 10 hours door to door, it would be better to remove a few stops or explain that the duration goes well beyond 8 hours. Tourists are more than willing to accept this, as long as they don’t feel unnecessarily put in danger.

I read lot of reviews about day trips like this before choosing this one, if you read the comments here they are pretty accurate, how ever I will say of all the day tours to Chiang Rai this is as good as you will likely get.

The description is a little misleading, of the 12 hours we only spent about 4 of them actually getting to sightsee at the locations, but at least the White Temple had the most time and is the best thing. It really is a long trip and between options - this one has the least amount of stops and most time to actually spend at places which makes it the best to be honest.

Mamee did her very best and had great energy, her English is okay enough but if you want in depth info then it’s best to go somewhere else. It was lacking in organization a bit (I would recommend she write the times/meeting points out on paper and show everyone to avoid so much confusion) and also hard to hear her from the back of the minibus.

Lunch was serviceable, they gave you as much as you needed to eat and free water along the way which is nice.

The biggest disappointment was the Karen village, it is an extra fee but honestly it was just a tourist trap and not worth it. It is about 20 stalls all selling the exact same set of things, only two things out of the lot are really crafted in the village. I appreciate their desire to make some money but I was hoping to see some actual interesting culture and there really isn’t any of that. Not really the tour’s fault but makes the last thing disappointing before the long drive back.

Overall if you go in expecting to treat this tour more like a useful taxi service it’s a good deal, we still had some fun and saw some cool stuff and probably the best cheap option to do that trip in a day.

It was a great day and I am very glad I made the trip. Our driver and hosts were very good and knowledgeable. I have a few suggestions which could make the ride and the hosts effort more effective and comfortable.

The tour vehicle was packed and there was little room to sit comfortably for a drive which was over 2 hours. It was survivable but not relaxing due to the crowded seating conditions. Suggestion one is to take into account the limitations of the vehicle and reduce the number of passengers so they have more space between each other. Otherwise the planned stops were adequate and came at the right intervals for restroom breaks and to allow the passengers to get something to drink and stretch one's legs.

My second suggestion is to make sure the host has an intercom system of some type so that their informational talks could be more easily heard by all. This vehicle had no such system so the host would turn backward in their seat in a knelling position facing the passengers as they gave their talk. His knowledge was excellent and his diction was good but the road noise and the lack of adequate sound system was a challenge beyond the host's control. That was unfortunate for his and for the passengers.

Otherwise I found the trip to be well worth it and of very good value for the cost. Lunch was good and substantial and the locations of course wonderful to visit. I would recommend the trip to anyone who asks.

Overall had a great day visiting the 2 temples and the black museum! Very different and unique architecture compared to that of Bangkok. Tour guide was very useful providing information on each of the sites before letting us go off an explore on our own. I would definitely recommend downloading Instagram before visiting the Black Museum, I won't say why...but you'll be impressed. Only downside of this tour was that the drive there and back wasn't amazing, due to the driver driving a bit recklessly and fast. Its a 3 hour trip one way from Chiang Mai and I would have rather the driver took 3 hours and drive without causing me a headache than trying to shave off 15 minutes on the tour. Good thing was we did take a break half way to use the restroom and buy food.

The tour picked us up almost an hour late and was a cramped mini van fitting 12 people. Also, the description says you will visit the Long Neck Village or see a nearby market and they didn’t take us to either. When I asked the guide this they said I had to “negotiate” with the other people in the group to see if they wanted to go! That makes no sense and I shouldn’t not have to embarrass my self like that. Seeing the village was the main reason I picked this tour. When I asked for a partial refund because of the inaccurate description they refused. Choose another tour.

We booked the tour to see the temples in Chang Rai when we got collected we are larger people who were sat at the back of the minibus and were so cramped the others agreed to change seats.
The first stop at the springs is pointless and is just for a toilet break.
Then the white and blue temple are impressive and the black house is worth a visit, but the journey is way too long and 13 hours in total to see 3 temples is just not worthwhile.
Also the lunch served near the white temple is awful and was cold, I had 1 spoonful and as it was cold I refused anymore, my husband had a small bowl and then stopped others were eating plates of food but it seemed risky to me.
When we were in the 4 hour trip back my husband started to feel ill so informed the driver who had to stop at a hotel to go to the toilet as he then had the start of severe diarrhoea for a few days requiring pharmacy treatment.
Also on the final stop to see the Karen tribe we were told we had not paid the additional cost for this and also others had the same issue, so we just waited around and did not do this part, please check you have signed up for this is you wish to do this part.
I would not recommend this trip due to the issue we had

      Positive:
The tour per se is nice and you manage to see a lot of things during the day (white temple, blue temple, black house, hot springs, giraffe neck women’s village) and the convenience of being driven around without having to worry makes the difference when you’re trying to see as much as you can in a day, particularly if you are not planning to spend a long time in Chiang Mai.

      Negative:
The van was small and crammed, seats were uncomfortable considering the amount of time you sit in the van you need to sit on something comfier than that, the food included in the price was not remarkable, it was just edible.
The main issue I had was the tour guide: he was probably unwell as he spent the whole journey there and back coughing and sniffling, the noise was extremely annoying and to be honest a bit gross.
Throughout the whole day he never wore a mask once.
The people sat behind me noticed it too and commented on it.
He gave us info about each place we visited showing us pictures of the places we were about to visit prior to arriving ultimately defeating the purpose of going to see them.
I also found him absolutely disrespectful towards the giraffe women’s culture as he blatantly lied saying that one of little long neck girls at the village was his daughter when the guide was clearly Chinese. Absolutely disgusting.

In conclusion I would recommend a similar tour if you don’t have a lot of time to see things but if you do, book it with someone else.

The first stop in the morning were the hotsprings, not impressive. It's just nice to take a break, see the shops and buy a smoothie before we head to the first temple. The white temple was beautiful. Bring clothes that cover your shoulders and knees, they check before hou go in.
You have to know that you spend a long time in the van, as discribed. Sadly our van wasn't comfortable. My man his knees didn't fit between his seat and the one in front of him. So it was challenging to find a good position to sit/sleep without bothering other people.

Lunch was included, in the afternoon we got a bottle of water.
After that we went to another nice temple and the black house. The last stop was Karens village, you had to pay 300 bath extra if you want to visit it (we read there was not much to see). Only 3 people paid extra, so we had to wait with the rest of the group for 20-30min in the heat. Luckily there was shade and a little shop.

After all we saw a lot, the tour was worth the money!

Great tour, just enough time at each place. Please make sure you listen to the guide and adhere to the timings given otherwise your actions have a knock on affect on the time available at the next stops.
Our guide was fantastic; very knowledgeable about the places we were visiting and the history of Thailand itself as well as Buddhism; I felt I learnt an awful lot on this tour.
We were dropped at each place to tour independently at our leisure, other than at the long necked Kayan village where we were shown around by our guide.
Lunch was great, plentiful and very tasty (and no upset tummy.)

The tour comprises a day trip to Chiang Rai, it was worth to see these extravagant temples, however, we did not have the option to see the last stop at Karen Village. I gave only one star because the tour was not in line what was mentioned in the description, and not much information was delivered during the tour. I think they must inform the people related to the exact plan of the tour and not giving to us the info on the way already on the bus. Our tour guide was nice, but he was not really engaging and the information shared was little. With such recently build temples, probably there is not much history to report anyway. We did 3 tours in Thailand and this scored the lowest so far. Most of the time you're going to sit in the minivan and you're going to have some time to look around at the different places. Take the tour as a moving art exhibition and you can have some enjoyment out of it.

Dear Arion, Thank you for sharing your opinion about did not have the option to see the Karen Village. Actually you booked this tour without Karen Village that's already correct . On the website already clarify detail . If you would like to visit the Karen you must choose the tour option Karen Village but you choose the option without it. You should have book a trip to Karen Village instead. And it's really unfair to us you gave us only 1 star ( scored the lowest ) becaus you was booked wrong option .We regret that you not happy experience with us and truely apologize for any inconvenience. Best regards, Sugar

We had a wonderful time, our guide was funny and informative 😀
Driver was great and lunch was tasty which is not always the case during these tour.

We liked this tour because it visited the main sites without pushing to the Golden Triangle which we thought was too far.

So if you're looking for a more condensed while very interesting tour we would highly recommend this one.
