        Informative and fun
Would have loved a little more time at some of the visit locations. Was very informative but would have loved for more information on route as the guide was then in another bus

The lack of a 'guide' for the 'guided' tour was disappointing. Buy late, overpriced if bought early.
The format of the trip was fine, the execution less so. Starting at 6am is not great for many, it can lead to late arrivals, especially since only a few fancy hotels are used for pickup. I imagine the traffic could be better but most of the journey is out of town anyway. The main issue with this particular trip was that the guide was not really informative and, when he did speak, off-colour and non-PC jokes in broken English were not useful or welcome. A major problem was that we were not 'guided' but simply told "We are here for X minutes, meet at the bus there", which is a chauffeur service really. The JEATH museum was a case in point, we were told to walk through the exhibit and meet afterwards, no context from the guide at all. It was fine but no different to going there under one's own steam. However, there was supposed to be 'model' exhibits - soldiers and prisoners etc - we did not see these and were whisked away, basically, we saw a room of photos, not a great experience. The lunch place was well situated - great river view - but one is having lunch at 11:30am - in our case with no breakfast - so it is a strange experience. We had particular trouble because, despite a large range of buffet food available, there was no food suitable for Vegans at all. There was a nice walk available from the lunch place, "cave over there" was the guides indication. We walked along that track too, the cave is actually worth visiting, no guide information however. The optional 25-minute boat ride up to the bridge itself was confusing - we missed the chance to do it because we thought about it - having spend the entire day on similar boats in Cambodia just before - and they were gone. It turns out that it is more like 10 mins so not really worth the extra money anyway. Similarly, with the train journey, we were told we should buy the VIP seats because, otherwise, we would stand for an hour instead - the regular train fare was included. We opted for the regular journey - like the locals! There were almost no locals and there were plenty of perfectly fine wooden seats available, although the guide neglected to mention where we got off (the original bridge station as it turned out) so we had to go looking for him in the good seats to find out. The train itself was hugely delayed, twice, so we had to wait at the station for a long time, they didn't bring the vehicle to replace the journey - it is just a hot train after all - so we arrived home at 6:30 instead of 4 or so, not a big deal but annoying without food etc. Overall ,it was the price (50% higher because I booked in plenty of time as well, which is unfair and annoying), without that guided experience, it is a series of shuttles between trains and boats, all available to all, so no benefit for an expensive layout was experienced.

        Fantastic trip
The theme park was huge. We arrived at 10am and left at 3.30pm. Great service. Great day. Lots of fun. Good for couples and children. They have 2 shows during the day. A Hollywood action show and a parade with all the characters in the Park. Bring two sets of clothes. One for wet rides. One for normal rides.

        Very disappointing.
They cancelled our tour of the skywalk 4 hours before we were meant to go and have not refunded any money 😔. Very disappointing.

        Some extra information
The trip was good albeit one or two things could be improved. The tour guide should put the guests needs before his own and not keep guests waiting and waiting so he can finish his lecture or get a life home - he shouted in the van rather than spoke and at that early in the morning it wasn't great plus the train journey was too long at 1 1/2 hours not the 1/2 advertised and we sat down in normal seating only to have to move to the third class carriage with limited seating because that was all that was paid for - they should have provided the better seating not the cheapest seats(a bench). On the whole though it was a very enjoyable trip if not a bit long.

This was a generic tour, it was good as Pattaya is small so we did see all the major sights in a day. The vibe was relaxed and we were given a spicy buffet lunch. The best bit was the sanctuary of truth where our guide became our amazing photographer.

        Good Tour, bad transport.
Really long day, it's true, but worth it for what you experience and see. Left at 6am, didn't get back until 5pm+ The guide (mr OOm) was great, very clear instuctions and information during the trip. He provided some interesting suggestions and was full of information. Great guide. The trip is as advertised. I loved the train (sit on the right side!). However; my issue with this trip and the low score, was the poor quality of van which the group was travelling in. The chairs were broken, the van had definetly seen better days. The driver was great, but van was terrible, seats uncomfortable. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend this tour. You're spending many hours in the van, it should be a higher quality, especially for the price.

        Good Tour
Really well organized trip. They even made sure we saw the Merlion. It is a very very large group and the bus / tour guide you start with, may not be the one you end with. They treat the group as one, so as long as you have the right sticker they will make sure you make it along each stop. They are very timely, so you may be rush but that’s be cause the shows are limited. Transportation home was a little chaotic. Fast paced, may not be suitable for people who like to stroll leisurely.

        Pleasant afternoon in Ayutthays
Really enjoyed Johnnys tour, the temples and river cruise were a great way to spend the afternoon. Loved the 100 yr old Resturant early dinner too. This was my second Ayutthaya tour with Johnny, did it with him last year with other family members. Wouldn’t miss it!

        Worth the long day.
Good to visit this historic sight. Felt rushed at the museum but to get everything in and lunch (very good) and get back within 11 hours was tough. Wouldn’t bother with the ‘speedboat’ part.. only 5 minutes trip. Be prepared for a very long day. Worth it.

Not a food tour but a tour that does include some food.
Our experience with Naylah and her Tuk-Tuk Boy Band was nothing short of exceptional. Naylah provided insightful information about Bangkok’s rich history, Thai cuisine, cultural customs, and the stunning sights of Old Town, 24 hour flower market and Chinatown. Her knowledge and passion for the city made the tour both engaging and educational. Mr. Sombat, our Tuk-Tuk driver, was friendly and professional, offering a unique and comfortable way to explore the city. His thoughtful gesture of dropping us off at our hotel, providing complementary water, cold wash cloth on a hot evening and a safe place to leave additional items in the tuktuk while we toured the sites added to the convenience and overall positive experience. The tour was well-organized, safe, and reliable, with an excellent mix of sightseeing and culinary experiences. The inclusion of delicious local food and a thoughtful gifts made it even more special. One of the highlights was Naylah’s guidance on temple etiquette, where she carefully explained the proper ways to show respect, along with essential do’s and don’ts. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable way to explore Bangkok. It’s a fantastic experience that combines history, culture, and amazing food, all while being guided by a knowledgeable and friendly team.

        Not great…
Mediocre be honest… The guide did not talk much, not sure because a mic was broken or he was just tired… there was a burn rubber smell in the bus on return. The boat trip was lovely however no body danced.

        Great tour
Tour was great. Picked up promptly from our hotel. Spicy was our guide and he was fantastic. So informative about the temples we visited. As we went on a Sunday there was a market in Old town Phuket which was an added bonus.

A peek at the past and questions about a mystery.
Good opportunity to walk through classic Thai architecture from 1800’s. This property included buildings from Ayutthaya and Bangkok that were dismantled, brought to the site and rebuilt. Thompson, an architect by training, improvised and added modern elements. The tour, although mandatory, was informative and helped to control the flow of tourists.

The tour was a bit rushed and a bit expensive for what you get. Not a lot of explanation of what you’re actually seeing and the English of the guide was not great. Would not book it again.

My husband, almost teen daughter and myself all thoroughly enjoyed this day out. The staff were very informative and helpful. The impromptu “cabaret show” on the way home was a laugh. There was a non stop supply of drinks, fresh fruit and local biscuits and a tasty and plentiful lunch. My parents have done this trip several times, several years ago, and said it was always their favourite day out on their Phuket holidays. The only down side was all the tourist tat and pressure to buy things from vendors on James Bond island. Not the fault of the tour, but I did feel it tarnished the otherwise unspoiled natural environments we visited. Be prepared for lots of people though. Everywhere we went there were other boats arriving immediately after or before us. I think they have everyone on a roster to try and avoid too many at one time. I guess you have to expect that.
