Overview
Active travelers who want to fit a lot of adventure into a single day will love this trip to Mua Cave and beautiful Tam Coc. There, you can enjoy hiking, biking, touring by boat, and fishing, as well as learning about Vietnamese food by taking a cooking class. This tour is ideal for groups of friends traveling together, as the range of activities will entertain everyone.
What to Expect
- Visit Tam Coc and Mua Cave on this full-day tour. You will see wonderful vistas, explore the countryside by bike, boat and on foot. Enjoy delicious local cuisine and learn new skills in a cooking class.
- Enjoy a full day of fun and exploring in this Tam Coc Mua Cave tour. Travel to Mua Cave which is considered a miniature Great Wall of Vietnam with awesome scenery from the peak of Mua Cave Mountain. The day is filled with activities such as boating, biking, a cooking class and fishing. After an early 7:00 AM pick-up from the tour guide at your hotel in Hanoi city center, depart for Ninh Binh province (90km south of Hanoi). Have a break half-way through to relax and see Vietnamese handicraft products such as lacquerware, painting and embroidery.
- Mid-morning, arrive at Mua Cave, the most beautiful place to see in Ninh Binh. Enjoy the view of the city in the distance with Tam Coc behind you and the limestone mountain along to the south of Vietnam. Now it's time to head to Tam Coc. If you love to explore the real countryside of Vietnam, you can go on a 40 minute cycling ride along a country lane (from Tam Coc to Bich Dong Pagoda, estimated time of 40 minutes for 5km cycling both ways). Experience the beautiful scenery of paddy fields.
- Finish the cycling ride at Tam Coc dock in time for a buffet lunch in a restaurant. After lunch, board a sampan boat in Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the villages, mountains and lush rice fields. Pass through three caves Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba for a memorable experience. The boat returns to the dock for the relaxing and enjoy tea or coffee before Car drive back to Hanoi. You will reach Hanoi around 6:30 PM to 7h30 PM

Dear Ms Kimmy Thank you very much for your question. Yes the boat tour will go into the caves. And it's not too dark and tiny. You can see picture on internet or pictires on our product. Thanks
