Julie was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We loved the train stop, however we were slightly disappointed with the food.

This was a fantastic tour! It totally exceeded my expectations. First of all the food was excellent. Great quality. Also as someone with a seafood allergy I was worried this would make the tour difficult - but it didn’t. The guide was very kind and simply made a couple of switches on the menu for me and for vegetarians. No problem at all. Train street was also a great experience and good to go with someone who knows it well! Our guide Julie was brilliant. She gave us so much interesting information about Hanoi and about the food. She was also so kind and made sure everyone was looked after whenever they needed something. Lastly, she made the experience fun and enjoyable. It was a great atmosphere within the group. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to get to know Hanoi old quarter and Vietnamese food better in good company! It was a warm welcome to Hanoi! :-)

Our tour with Julie was amazing. The places she took us, had such delicious food. Julie speaks perfectly english and answered all of our questions! She also showed us some hidden places and facts about the old quater we would have never guessed. We recommend this tour especially to everyone who is new in vietnam, to get to know which type of the traditional food you like.

Julie was very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic as a host. Her English was exceptional. She took us to four different venues in the old quarter and was able to share a lot of information and answer all our questions. We loved most of the dishes on offer and would never have found two of the venues myself. It pushed us out of our comfort zone! There were 5 of us on the trip which was a great number and the whole evening felt very comfortable and relaxed!

After doing an amazing food tour just days before in Hanoi with a different company I was excited to give this walking food tour a go. Unfortunately I was left a little disappointed. The group felt a little too big, there was no hotel pick up or drop off as advertised and we only went to three places to eat. Don’t get me wrong the food was delicious and I was very full by the end but I would have enjoyed sampling a small portion of a larger range of food from a larger range of places. I would also have liked to learn more about Vietnamese culture, food and life (anything really) from our guide along the way.

Cris was an excellent guide. The train was running late and he adjusted the tour accordingly. He also offered a few different options along the way (for example: good coffee nearby or great coffee but more walking?). We also had several vegetarians in the group and he was very attentive to their needs, asking questions to discover what options worked best for them at each stop.

Julie and Stephanie were amazing. They took us to food places that my family and I would have never wandered into by ourselves. Julie was very informative and took her time to explain things which made the experience even better!

The small food tour was amazing! We got to experience Vietnamese food from authentic local shops which we wouldn’t even find if we did it on our own. Our tour guide Sarah was great and got everybody talking. She also talked about how the food came to be and introduced games while we ate so it was very fun! 5 stars! Would recommend her as a guide to anyone coming to Hanoi

Ruby is the best! She shares so many local foods and Vietnam cultures to us. The foods is tasty and delicious, especially for the fired spring rolls (secret receipt from her grandma). We are very happy to meet her, such a friendly and talkative tutor!

We had such a wonderful afternoon with Lilly. Every single dish we had a was delicious, we did a vegetarian tour and went to places we would have never thought to go to. We ate like locals for the tour, what a lovely way to meet the streets of Hanoi Old Town. Massive thanks again to Lilly 🫶

We had the best day trying different dishes all over the city. From Bahn Mi to Egg Coffee, we ate our way through Hanoi!
