Not only did we bike around to the different spots to eat, we were also shown some of the sights of Hanoi by bike and given so much info about the city. The guides were friendly and informative, we felt very safe on the bikes and got to eat at some wonderful locations that we wouldn’t have tried on our own. Even though it rained that didnt stop us, we felt safe and enjoyed feeling part of the real city for a few hours. We took the night time motorbike street food tour with our tour leader Cherry.Our tour was 6pm to 10pm, we were picked up from our hotel promptly at 5:45 by our 2 scooter drivers, Hue and Uyen, they were fabulous drivers and pointed out many sights along the way. As we weren't yet familiar with the layout of Hanoi yet, this tour offered us a great way to get familiar with the locals and the traffic. Cherry took us to at least 10 different venues with local food tastings or drinks at each location. She is obviously proud of her city and took us to all the highlights.She was also loaded with historic information and interested in our backgrounds as well. We were on the tour with one other couple from Chicago, all five of us got along very well, and we stay in touch via Whatsapp. Thank you Cherry for your professionalism and leadership, the evening was too short. Upon completion of our tour, we were dropped off at our hotel.
Cherry sent us a list of all the foods we tasted and their locations. We also texted her with questions on where we could find certain foods and drinks,to which she replied immediately. Highly recommended!!!

This is a must see tour with both Mango and Rosie being entertaining and delightful, and so was the local food. The ride was comfortable for myself never been on a motor bike before and each stop provided and delivered all expectations of the local cuisine and culture my partner and I thoroughly enjoy. The information during the trip was easily remembered with a great easy to understand memories that I will now know for the foodie in all of us. Ps Happy water is also a must try... it will make you very happy.

“One of the great joys of life is riding a scooter through Vietnam; to be part of this mysterious, thrilling, beautiful choreography, thousands upon thousands of people: families, friends, lovers; each an individual story glimpsed for a second or two in passing sliding alongside, pouring like a torrent through the city. Tony said it best. Tonight's motorbike street food tour was an unforgettable, vivid, beautiful, perspective-changing feast for the senses - a total dreamland. The food was amazing. Our guide - Rosie - and our drivers were absolutely fantastic! The city at night was unlike anything else I've ever experienced. Riding on the back of a motorbike through the warm, thick air, people watching and continuously mesmerized by the complexity of the world and how little I truly know of it all....such a beautiful night. I hope this feeling and the memory never leaves me. I would recommend this experience to everyone!

We were a couple who booked a private tour.
Our guide Mango, was knowledgeable and funny throughout the whole tour.
We enjoyed seeing parts of the city by motorbike and then stopping to taste lots of different local dishes. Because we were by motorbike we could cover lots of ground.
We would recommend this tour to anyone any enjoys food tours and a little extra adventure because of the motorbike :)

I did the night tour on motorbike and Mango was the guide. She was excellent, great personality, excellent English and French as well! All of the food was great as well as her filling you in with tidbits about history, tradition, and overall Vietnamese culture. I enjoyed myself and I enjoyed talking with Mango. Be sure to tip her if you take this tour!!!!! I made the mistake of not tipping before I departed the tour, I thought for some reason we would return to the tour office and I would see her there, however I was returned to my hotel and feel TERRIBLE I was not able to tip Mango. Mango, if you are reading this I am terribly sorry :( you were excellent!!

We decided to book a food tour by motorbike on recommendations from friends. However, they had done tours in Saigon, not Hanoi, so we chose this company based on TripAdvisor reviews.
Cherry was a wonderful guide and each of the four of us had our own motorbike driver. Cherry was very warm and knowledgeable, pointed out sights while on the bike, and showed us the proper way to eat everything (we had tried some of the dishes before, but hadn't been eating them the "right" way; eating it the right way made a huge difference!). We were all stuffed by the end.

We came to Hanoi already with a recommendation to make the street food tour with this company and could not be more happy! We choose the night 4h at our first day in Hanoi and this was definitely the best way to have a first contact with Vietnamese culture and a great perspective of Hanoi City. Cherry was our guide and she was just amazing!! She was warm and very knowledgeable of all the food and culture, explained every single dish and how we should properly eat it, took us sightseeing and made us feel very welcome and like a true local! This tour was incredible thanks especially to our guide Tung (Tony). My partner and I booked a half historical/half food tour on motorbikes , which is truly the only way you can get a broad view of Hanoi in a short amount of time, and we were blown away by both parts. Tung and his partner drove the motorcycles (we rode on the back as passengers) and it was SO MUCH FUN. Super safe and he really took us on a deeper dive than I expected into local life. We saw the alley and school where he grew up, and got a really important look beyond the colonial tourist facade (i.e. how centuries of imperialist wars have created a highly precarious life for most Vietnamese living in Hanoi). Rode around the war museum and Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, which were spectacular to see at night. In the process, we learned the broad context of the American war in Vietnam. Those are just some highlights.
For the food portion, we ate until we cried. Special kinds of pho, bun cha, and spring rolls that you wouldn’t know to order without their guidance. Capped with an assortment of desserts (mango sticky rice, mango with coconut ice cream, and this gelatinous mung bean pudding with condensed milk and ice).
Overall, I highly recommend doing the bike food tour over the others offered. It’s worth the cost. Hopefully you get Tung (Tony), who was so charming and gave really great historical insights into the city.

This was a great tour. Rosie took us to a great variety of cafes and restaurants for North Vietnamese cuisine and drinks. All of the girls were great fun and spoke impressive English. When I come back will go again👍 Thanks Rosie, Leica and Ha💕

Hi I am looking to book a street food tour and am pescatarian (no meat, just fish). Would this tour be suitable?
