At 11:00 or 17:30 Join in a Walkie Foodie tour. We will take you to go inside the small lane and alleys inside the Hanoi Old Quarter and show you how real Hanoians live, work and eat. The old quarter of Hanoi formed the core of the legendary “Hanoi of 36 guild streets” where goods and crafts were traded in specialized streets formed by traders and craftsmen from clans and villages all over the country. By far our most popular tour, this tour is great fun and perfect way to discover some of the lesser known dishes that the locals love to eat. From Bun Bo (Sauteed Beef Rice Vermicelli), Banh Cuon (Steamed rice rolls), “Banh Mi” and end with unique Ca Phe Trung (Egg Coffee) which will round off our four courses perfectly. Local life, local stories; local food and local drink tasting. It's the little things that make all the difference in your travel experience!

The old quarter of Hanoi formed the core of the legendary “Hanoi of 36 guild streets” where goods and crafts were traded in specialized streets formed by traders and craftsmen from clans and villages all over the country. In the course of their migration to the city they brought along their culture, habits and local delicacies that were gradually adopted in the Hanoians’ way of life. So, it is here that the street food scene is overwhelming and should not be missed during your journey of life time to Vietnam as a whole and to Hanoi in particular. Embark on a walking/street food tour through Hanoi’s best culinary spots alongside a renowned food blogger. This local insider possesses an enormous passion for his country's cuisine, resulting in a blog that has gained a large following both in Vietnam and internationally. Great Company to deal with - 5 star tour
We originally booked a 10 day South to North tour through Groupon and I was a bit bit wary but had no reason to be. From the onset Sunny, who handled our booking, was helpful and organised everything for us including upgrades and extra night stays we wanted.Nothing was a bother. Every transfer was waiting for us (including one driver who waited 4 hours as our flight was delayed due to bad weather). The mini buses were new, clean and comfortable. The tours included were great with good tour guides with good local knowledge. They ran on time (actually on all pick ups the drivers were half an hour early which meant we were on our way quickly). Special mention of Lin our tour guide on the Mekong Delta tour who was amazing, she could not have done more for the group, constant provider of water and hand wipes and has a wicked sense of humour - thoroughly enjoyed her company for the day, she is a hard worker. Meals that were provided on some of the tours were great and food was plentiful. We received upgrades on our rooms at 2 of the 3 hotels. So glad we paid the extra to fly from HCMC to Hoi An rather than the 13 hour train trip after seeing the trains!!!! We extended an extra night in HCMC and Hanoi but wish we had extended our stay in Hoi An which was just amazing; and wish we had done the 2 night Halong Bay cruise instead of one night, You are just starting to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic then you have to leave. We did upgrade this cruise to the 4 star Huong Hai Sealife which was fantastic - highly recommended. The whole trip was perfectly orchestrated, ran to schedule, a totally professional organisation. Highly recommend.

          Tour of Vietnam and Cambodia
We travelled to Vietnam and Cambodia on a holiday organised by Halong Tours. We are ‘Senior Citizens’ with a zest for travel and usually organise our own holidays. We were slightly concerned as we don’t usually do trips as part of an organised tour but the vacation was extremely efficiently arranged and we had a brilliant time. The tours depart every day so numbers are small, often staying at different hotels, so in no way did we feel part of a ‘pack’. We met different people from different countries (in taxis, mini buses) for each leg of our trip. The places we visited (apart from one) were superb, each one a highlight in its own right. The hotels were excellent, though we did upgrade to 4*, with friendly and helpful staff at each locatation. The excursions were very interesting, every one led by excellent guides. I have to say we didn’t enjoy the Russian Market (Phnom Penh) - overcrowded, hemmed in, huge, very smelly indoor market with the most disgusting toilets. The Halong Bay overnight tour was beautiful and the boat, cabin and food of a very high standard. However, we and many people younger than us (!) didn’t enjoy the karaoke. There was a general exodus when it started led by people in their 20’s. It did appear that every other boat was also subjected to karaoke so perhaps it is thought this is what visitors want! We also felt that more factual information on Halong Bay itself would have been appreciated. The guide, whilst good, only ensured we got from A - B safely, though he did a sterling job kicking off the karaoke! I must mention our superb liaison at Halong Tours, namely James. His efficiency is second to none, very friendly and extremely helpful, replying to emails within 24 hours. We will definitely be returning to Vietnam and would do so through Halong Tours.

Is there any better tour organizer in the World?
Originally booked to tour through Vietnam with Halong Tours I had to delay due to hospitalisation, Postponing was no problem, no extra charges nothing but help and support. Finally able to do a 12 day tour in November , to Nancy, the Halong tour consultant nothing was a problem. She made the tour absolutely hassle free, every transfer was there on time and the recommended hotels were beautiful gems, ideally located, modern, clean, very comfortable and high quality service (and fantastic buffet breakfasts). Her tour recommendations were spot on specially the BA NA hills and My son tours. Nancy was a font of knowledge in regard everything Vietnam. Most impressive was Nancy taking time out of her busy day to come to the hotel to check if everything was ok. In 30 years of touring this was first. class service. In summary everything from, hotels, transfers, airline bookings tour recommendations was spot on and the service supurb. If you use Halong ask for Nancy

          Sapa, Trang An tour
Other than the home stay at Sapa, I should say the overall experience is good. This is the second time we visit Vietnam, the first time was Ho Chi Ming, this time is Hanoi. Tony is a thoughtful tour guide, from the airport pick up to check in to hotel, he provide excellent service, He always keep in contact with his partner / service provider and he even help us to get a local data only SIM card when we ask him where can we can a "value for money" data SIM card. He remain contactable through out our stay in Hanoi. Highly recommended if you want to have a enjoyable Hanoi tour experience.

Awesome bike tour and multiple shuttle bus fixxes!
Me and my GF landed here on the first day in Vietnam (Hanoi). We got a tip from a family member to see Tony at Bat Su str. We took a cycle tour on the first day which was really amazing and one of the most memorable moments of our holiday. We cycled to parts of old quarter. The farms on the other side of the bridge and we drank the best coffee (with egg) of Vietnam! The tourguide Kimphong was really helpful and very friendly. After the trip we decided to arrange more at Tony and so he fixxed a shuttle bus to Tam Coc (must see) and a sleeper bus to Sapa (also a must see!). The prices were very fare and well arranged. Tony is your go to guy to set up your adventures from out the chaos of Hanoi!

I enjoyed business with Seawind travel agency. Mr. Loi and Tony well planed and coordinated my open bus trip from Hanoi to Ho Chi Ming City. Suggested activities at each stoped and booked my flight. The agents regularly checked with me to make sure that the trip goes smoothly. I am very much satisfied with the high standard quality of work. Thank you very much.

          Would do it again
What a fantastic experience! I would highly recommend. Tony was well organized and had us covered with accommodation, transport and activities. It was by far the best 5 days of our two week trip. We were kept busy learning about Vietnam's history and exploring Hanoi with a more local touch. Communication was great and Tony really cares about his customers having a great experience. I wouldn't think twice about booking with him again and will be sure to tell family and friends. Thanks Tony!

What a fabulous walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Saw all the sights and ate some of the scrumptious food. What was extra special was the egg coffee in the old (1946) egg coffee shop. Hanoi was absolutely buzzing because Trump and Kim were a day away. Very interesting to see the extra's being rolled out for the visitors. Most amazing sight was an "UBER" sticker on a motorcycle helmet.

Our experience was great but we had a vegan on our tour which they didn’t cater for. I felt every bad that guide was taking us to restaurants that were meat based and we had one tourist with us that was vegan and restaurant did not cater for her. I think they need to classify tourist so that everyone is catered for. But overall our experience was great.
