Unfortunately we had to leave before the end so that we had time to get through the traffic to the cruise ship for dinner. The dinner cruise was nice as the lights of Ho Chi Minh City were beautiful. Truc our guide was amazing. Very warm and friendly and she told us the history of the puppet show. She was with us the whole night and answered all our questions. A follow on from the informative tour yesterday as we travelled to Cu Chi in comfort in an air conditioned vehicle with bottled water supplied. - michaeldouglasg3640 contributionsA full day tour by car through Ho Chi Minh’s most famous landmarks, with Luc sharing informative, historical details.Luc gave us a guided tour through a number of landmarks in Districts 1 and 3 in Ho Chi Minh, including an open market, Chinese and Buddhist temples, Reunification Palace, Lacquer picture showroom and the famous War Remnants Museum. Luc spoke fluent English and gave us a detailed history and meaning to all the landmarks. We learnt a lot about Vietnam history and culture during the day. Luc taught us how to barter 😊 making our market experience fun and affordable 😬 fun day in the city. He then helped me find a local high class tattoo parlour then finished our day at the puppet show.
