- Suzy T0 contributionsUnforgettable culinary experienceI had an amazing time at this cooking class with Cherry! She was passionate and knowledgeable, guiding us through making spring rolls, banana fruit salad, pork noodle soup, and egg coffee. The small class size made it feel personal, and visiting the local market was a highlight. I learned a lot about Vietnamese cuisine and culture—highly recommend this experience if you’re in Hanoi!Written 5 February 2025

- Travel159745013970 contributionsBest cooking class! We had so much fun today! It was a small intimate group and we got to know each other and shared our travel stories. The tour guide Cherry gave us a lovely tour of the market to buy fresh ingredients and once we got back to the location for the class she was fun, kind and welcoming! Surprised by a lovely wine tasting and her beautiful decorating! The lesson was informative and fun! We learnt 4 recipes and finished the night with delicious egg coffee!Written 31 January 2025

- Terese W0 contributionsBeyond our very high expectations! Bravo!Absolutely outstanding! We loved every minute from the moment we were met at the cruise terminal to our return. Emma, our guide, was knowledgeable and empathetic. She got to know us and our interests and responded with information and an itinerary that met the whole group’s expectations. Expecting a dry sandwich for the included lunch we were delighted to be treated to local Vietnamese cuisine that made for the best meal we’ve had in recent memory. Truly an amazing and unforgettable experience!Written 28 January 2025

- kfries0 contributionsBest Afternoon/Evening in Vietnam!!This was a super fun, lively, educational, and delicious afternoon and evening. Ethan was an exceptional guide and teacher, who answered all of our random questions and made the time delightful. As we don’t speak any Vietnamese, his English fluency was a huge bonus and allowed us to deeply engage in the information and stories. His understanding of Vietnamese culture and cuisine is nuanced and complex and he was happy to share. The food we made was all vegetarian and delicious. The space is lovely and the housekeeper was so helpful when we got started later than expected! Ethan especially distinguished himself by engaging our kids (10&13) — so much so that our younger daughter was peppering him with questions and joyfully sharing by the end. He involved them both in the whole experience, matching activities with their skills and talking with them like real humans! All in all, this could not have been a more worthwhile and compelling experience for our family!Written 25 January 2025
- 461vivt0 contributionsLazy morning cruising Halong Bay, Descending Dragons. This was a fantastic trip in all respects, despite it only being for half a day. The boat was only a short level walk from our cruise ship. We were 15 in total on the boat including the guide, Tuyen. It was quite a big boat so we had plenty of room. The scenery was stunning. At one point we got off to go into much smaller boats that were paddled mainly by women. There were 4 in each boat, and we were taken through the rocks into a lagoon. It was beautiful. On returning to our main boat we were served an amazing lunch. We had fried fish, the tenderest squid I have ever eaten, oysters, chicken, beef, clams, twelve different dishes to share in total. Fortunately not huge portions but certainly enough. We got back to the ship in time for its afternoon sailing on to Ho Chi Minh. Throughout Tuyen our guide was very attentive without being "in your face". He took photos for us and eased out language difficulties with the boat staff and the lady paddlers. I thoroughly recommend this trip relaxing in the sun and especially if you like fish and seafood . Well done Tuyen. Thank you.Written 19 January 2025
- 165hiteshc0 contributionsAwesome experienceWe were met at our hotel by Cherry, our guide who started out by taking us to the food market. We chose our ingredients and then set off to the cooking school where we were taught the art of Vietnamese cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and recommend Cherry.Written 19 January 2025

I have always wanted to try pottery (using a wheel) and we came across this and we were like "Hey why not?". We had such a great time and the instructor was super kind!! We all have been talking about wanting to go back! If you’re like me and have always wanted to try pottery, but never gained the courage to do it - I’m here to say DO IT! An awesome experience and fun to try while you're in Hanoi!
