Really great experience. Ella is very knowledge and friendly and smart, you’ll be in good hands. Recommend taking this tour early in your trip if you’re a first timer in Hanoi, as we were, we got a great sense of the most popular local dishes and places, it really helped us get a better sense of the city. Also, Ella is a great person to answer all your questions (and you will have a lot).

Ella took us all over old quarter and gave us a once in a lifetime experience. We got to try foods we wouldn't even have been capable of finding let alone ordering on our own. She really knows her vendors and has relationships with them which is so nice and genuine to see. Ella herself is a delight! She is funny and knowledgeable and actually helped hook us up with another reputable tour operator. She goes above and beyond! 10/10 experience!

The food tour with Ella was incredible. Each restaurant had something unique to offer and we were able to try at least a dozen different dishes. At one point we commented on how full we were and Ella informed us we were only 1/4 of the way through! Some of the places we went to we definitely would not have found on our own and we went back to a couple of them again on our own during our stay. She really knows the city and many of the restaurant owners - you really can’t go wrong in booking this tour - just make sure you bring an appetite!

Ella was a great guide - knowledgable about food and culture and really adaptable to the needs of the people in our group! While we didn’t have any dietary restrictions, some of our group mates did and she was very accommodating. For foods that we had already had (which was very rare) she ordered some alternatives and even gave us recommendations of other restaurants in the area. We left super full and were happy with everything we tried. Thanks, Ella!

We had such a great time on Ella’s food tour! She is such a fun and friendly character and took us to some really fantastic places in Hanoi that we never would have found ourselves. Everything was delicious, we were so full by the end we had to omit the final food stop at the Banh Mi place (but we have it bookmarked to visit before we leave!) Definitely recommend, you won’t regret it!
