When we were in Vietnam, all our transfers and tour guides were provided by Exo Travel. They were excellent. They were always on time and the communication re pick-ups, itineraries etc. was great. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful and flexible. Than, Nghinh and Tan were super and they made our holiday.

A brilliant time in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. During our time in Hanoi we were collected with a private car at the airport and taken to our hotel by our personal guide in Hanoi. We had a day trip around Hanoi and were then collected by our guide the following day to drive to Halong Bay for an over night trip on the Jasmine Junk Boat. The guide around Ho Chi Minh (Ric) also collected and delivered and excellent visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels followed by a trip around the city. It was fantastic! Each guide took us back to the airport and never left us until we entered security. What a brilliant personal service.

Me, my partner and two other friends had a spectacular two weeks vacation in Vietnam this late November and this wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Exo Travel Vietnam and their two hosts/guides including Sam and Man who were based in Hanoi and Saigon, respectively. I had worked with my local travel agent and Exo Travel to arrange private tour including transportation for Hanoi, Halong Bay, Phu Quoc, Cantho and Saigon. All of the activities and tours were meaningful and really showed a broad range of Vietnamese culture, history and life that I didn’t initially expected. I was surprised and learned a lot from this trip and wasn’t an easy feat considering that we are experienced travellers and that my background is Vietnamese. It has been over 10 years since my last visit and the changes I have seen were significant and positive. Overall, this trip wouldn’t haven’t been the same without the help of our guides. Sam and Man were both genuine, friendly and welcoming from the moment we met at the airport until the time we were dropped off. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great time and that our needs and safety were well looked after. We weren’t treated like guests, we were treated like friends and family and this is rare and it should be recognized and appreciated especially when there are so many other options and service providers available. I don’t normally write reviews but I feel that special recognition should be given and that this positive experience should be shared.

I have to tell you about the wonderful experience we had with one of the EXO travel staff namely Le Tung. He was our guide in Hoi An and we experienced a problem with VietJet airlines who kept changing the time of our flight transfer to Ho Chi Min. Which originally was scheduled for 1:15 and changed 4 times to 10pm. Tung accompanied us inside the airport to discuss this directly with VietJet as we could not speak any Vietnamese. With his help VietJet put us on the priority list for the next flight. Tung stayed with us in the airport until we had successfully checked in for the flight. This is above and beyond any expectation from staff and especially as it was his day off. We cannot thank our guide enough for the help he provided.

Generally service is good. Car is clean and comfortable. Driver was punctual and came ahead of appointed time and we arrived at airport on time.

Recently we visited Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam and had the most outstanding tour guide. His name was Man. He picked us up from the airport, took us to our hotel, and gave us an outstanding understanding of Vietnam. We visited many fantastic places with him – the presidential Palace, Mekong delta, and the bee farm, etc and his knowledge of Vietnam, its people, culture and history was carefully explained to us along the way. He provided careful guidance of culture, took us on a tour of the markets and showed us so many interesting places to purchase special pieces. Each day he greeted us at our hotel, was always half an hour ahead of us and carefully drew maps for us to visit wonderful restaurants on our free days. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Our trip to Cu Chi was interesting, but we were not happy about the guide. The staff at the travel desk in Sofitel Plaza took this very seriously and offered a half day`s trip in the city as a compensation. This trip was excelent. The guide was very clever and service minded. We visited a temple and a market and we had a walk in some narrow streets were we were able to see how people live and talk to some inhabitants. As we drove aroud the guide told us a lot of interesting facts about Saigon and Vietnam. This was a very interesting experience and very jolly as well!

Made enquiries with several tour agencies April 2018 having for a 3 week break to Vietnam and Cambodia. I had options of going DIY, team groups or private tour. Elected on the private tour and we were contacted by Mr Quoc. Mr Quoc has been very professional throughout the process, from deciding to use them, organising the tour, rescheduling etc. We arrived in Hanoi and were colleccted at O5h55 who took us to our hotel. For the next 17 days we drove and flew throughout Vietnam and Cambodia. The accommodation, hotels were very luxurious and included breakfast. Lunch when included was generally 7 courses all excellent restaurants. The guides and days events were very knowledgeable and their English was very good. The tours organised were full day events, starting usually from 08h00 until 17h00. In my opinion, Exo and Mr Quoc have been excellent, always polite and willing to help. A personal tour gives you more time to do what you want without having to rush with a larger group. Very, very with Exo. Not the cheapest, but worth it for the quality. We used this company for our "private" tour throughout Vietnam (Hanoi/ Hue/Hoi An/HCMC) and Cambodia (Siem Reap/Phnom Penh) and had excellent guides who were very knowledgeable and clearly proud of their respective countries. We were met on arrival at each city by the guide and drivers and were escorted back to each airport where they ensured our flights were on time. In each city the guides followed the itinerary we had planned as well as adding sites and/or suggesting places we could visit on our own. We learned a great deal about the history of each city and country. Our guide in HCMC (Thanh Hai) was exceptional -- very knowledgeable, a great sense of humor -- even sang to us on occasion. I would recommend guides from EXO Travel for a long stay trip or for day trips

My daughter and i travelled with air nz to ho chi Minh city to join a pre organized tour via Exo and their amazing tour guide Jerry. He was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful but most of all he was funny and got our nz humour and ways. Thanks Exo for an incredible trip but mostly thankyou for Jerry. He was amazing 😀

Just finished 3 days in Saigon. The good folks at EXO have lived up to every claim. Our guide Giao was fabulous. Smart guy, full of information, really dynamic. He showed us around, made us comfortable, and really gave us an education about Vietnam, Saigon, and day-to-day life for the average person. I am sure all the guides EXO provides are terrific, but if you are lucky enough to get Giao buckle your sear belt, you are in for a great ride! Oh, and lest I forget, the Sofitel Hotel was terrific!

It was smooth our tour and Thanh was a fantastic tour guide who accompanied us in Saigon and Mekong Delta.

We were a bus load of first timers in Vietnam. Our tour guide Tung, took care of us for five days, arranging attractions, transport, hotels around HCMC. Three interesting facts he gave us today : farmers are buried in their rice fields , hammocks are slung in coffee bars along intercity routes for scooter riders to nap, and there are no four storey houses, because four is unlucky. We ate well at our lunch stops, The coach was a cool retreat after excursions, walking, boating, exploring. Recommend Exo tours.
