The private tour to Cu Chi Tunnels and Cao Dai is a great day trip from Ho Chi Minh. Visit Tay Ninh, home of the unique Cao Dai sect which is a mix of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. It's super worth visiting during prayer sessions at noon and admiring the colorful, mysterious and marvelous architecture. After lunch, we visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an amazing underground system from which the Vietnamese fought during the American and Vietnam War.

Tom is a very knowledgeable guide explained beautifully and connected religion with sites with the life on the Mekong. I enjoyed it very much. He accommodated my preferences and we skipped few things but he then took me to other interesting places Loved the floating market at 5am with a breakfast on the floating boat! Probably not as organised as we had hoped. The driver and guide did not know where some of the places were, and when we arrived, some of them were closed. - soppy10 contributionsThe non-touristy side of the Mekong Delta by bike & boatFantastic trip sampling the non-touristy areas of the Mekong Delta by bike & boat, Our guide & diver where excellent taking us by bike to several local peoples houses whose hospitality was lovely, Lunch at one was plentiful & very tasty with something for everyone.
