- M7663MFjoeb0 contributionsEh…Sometimes everything is perfect and some time expectations aren’t met. First the positive, we did not want to stick to the planned itinerary and our guide(s) accommodated us. We also wanted to eat at another venue and they made that happen. Very good and we appreciated that! We also wanted to shop where we had researched a facility that could accommodate our needs and we were delivered there. The negative, we had four different guides. We would be informed this person was our guide and then before you know it we were handed off to another guide. This happened over and over. I even ask for a picture for identification from one person and that person never sent a picture we were soon notified another guide would pick us up. Finally the day of our excursion the guide was not there to meet us after us providing the name of Port and ship. Eventually they came. They came. We were expecting a car and driver, we received car and driver who never spoke a word and an additional guide. They were not intimidating but we did not expect two people. Highly unusual. Finally we had ask to return early, Madame did not feel well but our guide insisted we go to the Reunification Palace. After the third or fourth time we relented. You pays your money and you takes your chances.Written 20 March 2024

- Edward K0 contributionsInteresting place. Misadvertised tour.I enjoyed this tour for the historical aspect and visiting the tunnels. Our guide was knowledgeable about the history but unfortunately the tour was very misadvertised. The tour was meant to be a private tour that went for 8 hours. Unfortunately, we were back within 6 hours, and i think it's down to the promised activities we missed. Our day started with a "rest" stop, which was well off the route to the tunnels. The rest stop was actually a government program for agent orange victims that made beautiful artwork. Whilst it was interesting to watch the artwork be made, the "rest" stop tour ended at a gift shop. We then made our way to the tunnels and learnt about them, making our way through the various exhibits about how the vietnamese fought, crawling through the tight tunnels and getting the chance to shoot a gun before heading back to our hotel. The tour advertises rubber tree plantations and jungle sightseeing Be warned, this is simply driving past a plantation on the way to the tunnels and looking out the window while moving 50 kilometres an hour. Secondly, the tour advertised stopping at a spontaneous countryside wet market and also enjoying fresh tropical fruits. Neither of these happened for us. Whilst the tunnels were a great experience, this tour was misadvertised and left us disappointed.Written 11 April 2023

- SimonaCornelia0 contributionsA day full of Beauty and Awe!I wholeheartedly recommend this tour! We didn’t know what to expect and it was such a huge surprise! We got a combination of wildlife (monkeys, crocodiles, bat sanctuary), two mangrove forests, a variety of means of transportation (ferry, canoe, speed boat, row boat). We also had a nice lunch at a restaurant in the mangrove forest! We had a perfect combination of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems! Our guide, Kim, was very knowledgeable, told us a lot of interesting stuff about the places, the flora & fauna. He is very friendly, open, very good English communication, He is a real professional! Big thank you, Kim! It was one of the best days in South Vietnam!Written 8 January 2023
- Zoica T0 contributionsBest choice for visiting the mangrove forests!I took this one-day trip and it was amazing. Kim, the guide was very knowledgeable, told us a lot of interesting stuff about the places, the flora&fauna. He is very friendly, open, very good English communication. He is a real professional! He took us to see monkeys, crocodiles, bat sanctuary, two mangrovre forests, we went on a speed boat and on a row boat, both with good drivers and had a nice lunch at a restaurant in the mangrove forest. And the best part was that the tour was a private one and the area is not touristy, it was quiet and right in the middle of wildness. Choose this your and you'll have your soul full of nice memories! Thank you, Kim! Wishing you all the best!Written 16 December 2022
- piptravelling0 contributionsExcellent guides tourI had the 6 hour trip to the cu chi tunnels. It was a really informative trip. With Anna as an excellent guide giving us all the background and details of the tunnels and how they were used. The tunnels are not a happy place because it was part of a desperate fight. However it is well worth a visitWritten 18 November 2022
- bp10030 contributionsWonderful full day experience to Can Gio Mangrove. Crocodiles, monkeys, boats, who could ask for more?Wonderful full day tour to Can Gio Mangrove. Our guide Jacky Hieu was amazing. We were with our 8 year old grandson and he made it an excellent experience for all of us. We were picked up at our hotel on time and enjoyed a private driver with guide Jacky. Information and history was shared on the way to the Mangrove. We were treated to a boat ride to see the bats and beautiful area by rowing boat, then off to feed the crocodiles. It was amazing to be so close and feed them (while still feeling safe.) We were served a delicious lunch, rode in a tuk-tuk and climbed above the trees to see the beauty of the forest. Back on the boat and the car to visit the monkeys. Oh what fun! Jacky was very good about warning us not to take valuables that the monkeys could grab when we weren’t looking and suggesting what to do for the best experience. My grandson had so much fun! He fed the monkeys and they even came and sat with him for photos! When we talk about our trip, we always mention the monkeys and our day with Jacky first! It was definitely a highlight.Written 30 October 2022
