- 257evgeniam0 contributionsGarni Temple, Geghard Monastery, Lavash bakingEverything was great! Both the temples, pagan and Christian one, were beautiful. Everything was white from the snow and the mountains were majestic. Unfortunately we could not see the mount Ararat because of the mist, but in a clear sky you can get a great view. Our driver Karen, and our guide, Gayane, were very nice and we definitely felt the Armenian hospitality. We got an extra monument, Symphony of stones, as a bonus. Definitely recommend.Written 13 January 2025
- perill00 contributionsA beautiful day trip from YerevanIm grateful to the super guide Anna and his helpful driver ( name very difficult to be pronounced) that took me in approx 10 hours tour, my first touch of Armenia and amazing ancient history, I do appreciated a lot. My best compliments to hyur for their organization and professionality, i'm working in the same tourism industry, and I can put my word on this.Written 12 January 2025
- Андрей В0 contributionsWell-organized trip through Armenian history with water and candies.I was deeply impressed by the eloquence of our guide, Marina, in the most positive sense, and the excellent driving skills of our driver, Garik. They delivered a rich and engaging story in two parts, introduced us to centuries-old temples spanning six centuries, and allowed us to witness a liturgy at the Echmiadzin Cathedral. Marina not only narrated the main historical accounts but also skillfully addressed additional questions. The only aspect I had reservations about was the optional visit to a temporary exhibition at the Echmiadzin Cathedral Museum. It lasted 20 minutes and felt somewhat underwhelming in terms of content. Throughout the trip, water was always available, and we were treated to cookies and candies. So, I'd be happy to take part of this tour. Thank you, Marina and GarikWritten 12 January 2025

We decided to book again with Hyur Service after a pleasant trip to Khor Virap, my favorite part of this trip was the ruins at Ambred. Our driver Araik got us to and from the tour safely, navigating through rough terrain. Our guide Tatev was full of energy and explained the history behind the sites we were visiting in detail, in both Armenian and English. A major plus was that the bus was a newer model Mercedes Benz van with ac, packed with cold waters and a delicious Armenian pastry. Once again had a blast and got some awesome footage I can’t wait to share with loved ones. We have officially booked 2 more trips with Hyur based on our pleasant experience.

A very well organised and informative tour of the Aragatsotn Province. The tour guide was able to navigate bad traffic and less than perfect weather and still make it an excellent excursion for all involved. English language and Russian language explanations were well balanced.

We were picked up very promptly from the hotel and taken to the tour office. I was asked for my Passport which I didn't have with me, nowhere on the documentation it asked me to bring a Passport.
Sadly the visit to Amberd and Lake Kari were not possible because of snow fall, but the tour company arranged wine tasting as an alternative with an additional monastery visit.
We met our guide Inga, she was lovely. Had lots of things to say. The timings were a bit out, this was not the fault of Inga and we arrived too early for Wine Tasting. It was kind of disappointing to waste this time.
By the time wine tasting was over, the group were very happy and jovial and I let them know it was my birthday. The group bonded well and enjoyed themselves, Inga never rushed us.
We went to lunch, again it didn't feel rushed. You have a choice of 3 menu items. Earlier, I said to Inga that there wasn't really anything I could eat. She kindly had the tour company change the restaurant which is something I really appreciated.
After lunch we made a brief stop at Alphabet Alley and then headed back to Yerevan for our master class to bake cake. It was delicious and Inga sat with us as we continued to chat. Before we know it, it was already 7pm.
It was a great tour, we met as strangers and left as friends.

Tour service was amazing, very informative, smooth and very fun.
We had enough time to stop and take beautiful photos, heard a lot about the history and traditions of Armenia, not only about the visited attractions, well recommended.
Bus was comfortable and the AC & WiFi worked well throughout the tour, driver Ara is a professional and smooth driver and tour guide Manya was just perfect, especially when it comes to adding some humour to the stories which was highly appreciatd during this long tour. Thank you Hyur services!

I only have good things to say. I did 3 tours and every and each one of them was very educative and fun. Recommended. Tour guides are very good and they make it fun and enjoyable. The vehicles they have are in very good condition and they provide water and wifi all the time, which was working all the trip, sometimes even 10hs. Very good price too.

After three tours (and counting!) with Hyur Services, I can confidently say that they are the industry standard for excellent customer service, professionalism, and well-planned tours. Manya and Garik made our tours unforgettable and filled with engaging commentary and humor that added so much more value to the excursions than a self-guided tour would. I only wish they'd do more local walking tours around Yerevan!
Out of all the tours so far, I recommend Amberd/Aragats for unique views of the mountains and ancient monasteries.

Another awesome trip with Hyur Service! This has been my second trip with them and I have another appointment tomorrow. A big round of applause to our driver Uncle Khachik for keeping us safe all throughout our trip and of course to our talented tour guide Yervand who sing just like Michael Jackson. Lol. I totally respect you guys for your hard work. I know it’s not an easy job but you’ve still managed to make everything smooth and easy. I am excited for tomorrow!

Very nice travel, it brings you between old ruins, high mountains, and contemporary art sites. The scheduled times at each stop were correctly evaluated, so that you don't have to run to see everything. Both the guide and the driver were excellent and friendly, and the lunch was delicious. Also, travelling with people from all over the world is always an interesting experience
Just a suggestion for future: just think about a short stop, even 10 minutes, to enjoy the spectacular view of mount Aragats along the road, before arriving to the Qari Lake. The view is better from the road on the other side than from the lake.

I chose to book the Amberd Fortress, Mt. Aragats tour with Hyur travels ahead of a couple of other options and am so glad I chose them. The tour was excellent and very well conducted.
The guide, Ms. Mariam, was very knowledgeable and entertained us throughout the trip with interesting stories on the places we were visiting. The driver, Mr. Ashdod, drove very safely through what was very challenging terrain, with narrow mountain roads, bumpy roads and the like.
The care taken by the tour agency was top notch. From W-Fi to drinking water to a savoury, all the small touches are much appreciated! There was also a surpise stop enroute and the places visited were spectacular. It was one of the best tour experiences I have ever had and was a day very well spent. Thanks to Hyur Travels for their excellent service!

It’s a day trip. Starts at 9 am and ends about 5:30 pm. It’s worth every dime of it. The tour guide (Yervant) is very polite and professional. Languages spoken Russian and English.
The driver “uncle Khatchig” is very careful driver and experienced too!
The company was great and the places we visited are worth seeing!
I highly recommend this tour.
My favorite places were Saghmosavank and Alphabet Alley!
By the way, we also witnessed the entire process of “gata” preparation (armenian sweet bread).
