I have never gone for trekking before and this being my first time was just simply amazing. I found Gardman tour on TripAdvisor and decided to go ahead as my friend recommended it. And boy was it the best decision ever. Haik (Managing Director) was very helpful in booking me the trek as they had no other bookings for the same day. Since I was travelling alone, I requested for a female guide and voila the best one was provided. Anush ( trek guide) was the best, she made sure I was safe and knew the place inside out so that I had a memorable trek. I will recommend her for group/solo travel. Last but not the least - Norak and his super car. Our driver to the trek - boy one hell of an awesome driver I must say!! Kudos to Gardman Tour.

I just had an excellent 3-day private tour with this company. Highly recommended! Ash, my guide, was the best—knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to show you the very best of Armenia. Off-roading is the best way to explore the country as you get to go to off-beaten paths--it made the trip all the more special and memorable. Looking forward to planning my next trip with them.

If you like your experiences to be a little off the beaten track and a little random then this company is for you. We had Ash for two days who was very knowledgeable and also accommodating to our wants. The first tour was the off road Garni Temple which was a big day but absolutely worth it. The second was the Aragats hike which was more challenging than anticipated due to the altitude. The 4x4 was very comfortable, the scenery spectacular and Ashes knowledge of Armenia made for an unforgettable experience

I did this tour with a friend and had an amazing day. Ash, our guide, was excellent, very accommodating and informative without sounding scripted. We had one of the best travel experiences I've ever had meeting some locals in the mountains, so welcoming and hospitable. Highly recommend this tour and company.

An experience that you should not miss! A super view from the peak! The tour guide was very nice! We will do it again!

They were great to go with. You will pay more than the large guided tour but it is worth it. You are able to go at your own pace with an excellent guide. We had Narek for two of the days. But both guides stayed latter than planned. They added extra things that were not listed that really made the tours special. Like stopping to watch lavach made, or going into a cave with a 6000 year old winery, eating smoked fish on Lake Sevan, fresh milk just taken from the cow by the wonder local family, or see the genocide museum. These were all things not planned but just happened as we saw the country and enjoyed our time getting to the area. They really tried to add the small special things that make a trip memorable. Our Jeep and the others we saw were nice. We did three tours with them. All different but I think the Garni gorge trip was the best. But I enjoyed them all. It just depends on what you want to see.

An excellent trip - well organised with excellent English speaking guide who gave a fabulous commentary throughout the trip. Wonderful food at lunch time. Amazing views of impressive scenery complimented by an informative history. Not to be missed very highly recommended.

Our trip was fantastic! The 4 of us decided quite late that we wanted bit more adventure to our trip to Armenia, and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Our guide, Arshak, completely took care of us. The trip exceeded our expectations; the countryside, the wealth of knowledge Arshak shared with us, the food (especially the homemade salad) and the fact that our needs were always considered. We wished we had packed more suitable hiking gear, but definitely had a lovely experience.

Having never hiked a mountain, we booked for 12 members on our second last day of the trip. Right from speaking with Mr. Haik who was professional, patient and humble throughout my conversations with him, up until meeting our guides Ash and Narek (AWESOME people). The hike is a challenge for first timers and gardman tours definitely made it most comfortable. From providing tasty food at the summit till motivating, supporting and being very very patient with our pace - they were just amazing at their job. We had the time of our lives hiking a big mountain with a friendly team. I would highly recommend Gardman tour for not just their hike but also for all tour services. I can totally count on them. It was the 2nd to last day for us in Armenia. Already seen lot of places and had a brilliant time, but our trip with Gardman Tour was the best part of our trip. Hiking to mount Ara was totally worth it. Spectacular views and professional guiding. Without a doubt I would recommend this to anyone!

The pick was so punctual it was 30 minute before time , the tour guide is so good that he can cover all grounds . He was very knowledgeable he was very helpful so we can see all the needed , but he insisted with pleasure that this tour be done in may or June. ,

Having traveled all over the world , I've had the entire gamut of tour operators. The good, the bad and the in-between. Gardman tours and their guide Hayk Azatyan was absolutely at the top of the list. Hayk showed up on time and had a superb Land Cruiser ready for our all day off-road adventure. Hayk's knowledge is expansive and he is friendly and relaxed. We spent 11 hours (the tour is advertised as eight but he was so busy showing me his country time got away from us!) touring the canyon, seeing the pagan temple and going to beautiful ancient monasteries before driving high into the Caucasus Mountains and experiencing so much of beautiful Armenia that I cannot give a higher recommendation than to make sure you contact Gardman Tours on your trip to Armenia.

I used Gardman following the recommendation of a local friend and hired two guides (Narek and Ash) for a mountainbike trip in the Armenian Highlands near Lake Sevan. The Guides picked me up as agreed from my guesthouse in the mountains and the following trip was as if I was on a mountainbiking tour with my own friends. The bikes were in excellent condition and they carried spares in case something broke. Both Narek and Ash followed all my requests (for photostops etc) and they went the "extra mile" to explain to me the nature, the history and the countryside around us. I could not praise them enough and I would gladly go on a tour with them again.
