Disappointing tour. 1. The driver, Marat, was awful, reckless driving in fog. 2. The tour guide, Armine, was not good at her job at all, she had pretty poor knowledge of Russian, she was not very communicative and was not ready to say another word apart from her memorized obligatory text. 3. The restaurant where they took us, "Arina" in Shinuhayr, was terrible - I was sure that there aren't such awful restaurants in Armenia, since practically all Armenian restaurants and cafes offer rich and diverse culinary experience with excellent service. The food was of very poor quality, traditional Armenian barbeque was terrible, meat was stiff, dolma did not taste like dolma at all, the salad was not fresh. The dining hall was full of flies, one dead fly was on our table. 4. For wine tasting they took us to "Arpeni" wine making facility with strangely high prices for home-made wine, which were sold much cheaper for the locals. 5. We took the tour, although the weather forecast for that day was showing "rain", but knowing the area, they should have advised that there was high probability of fog, which made the tour experience non-impressive.

UPDATE: I received a full refund and apologies from the travel agency. Got this tour because it had high ratings but things didn't go as expected. The biggest problem was the driver, Marat, for whom the safety of the passengers was not important at all. Apart from not being able to drive smoothly, he surpassed other cars when going uphill and on curves where there was no visibility, and we were in dangerous situations several times. The tour guide, Armina, was OK even though she talked monotonously and didn't seem passionate about her job. Her English was OK but her Russian needed a lot of work. It was rainy and foggy in Tatev, which the travel agency must have known and so they could have cancelled the trip, as riding the longest cable car in the world in the fog was not fun at all, plus watching the driver racing with very limited visibility was traumatic. Then, after visiting the monastery, we were taken to Arina restaurant for lunch in a nearby village. It was one of the worst restaurants I've been to in my life. It was dirty and the food was really bad. It was clear that they were somehow connected to the travel agency otherwise they wouldn't have taken us there. It was cheap but I would have paid more for good food. Everyone had to pay cash at the end and watching the manager/owner in a golden chain necklace count the money at a dirty table was like a scene from a movie about mobs. Afterwards, we were taken to a winery. On the website it says Areni which is the most famous wine producer in Armenia. AND it's also the name of the village where the famous wines are produced. We did go to that village but it was not Areni company, it was Arpeni, another run-down place where they produced wine. The wine-tasting seemed strange to me since the owner served us a red wine first, then a white wine. Overall there were 6 wines and when I asked him about the alcohol content, he seemed somewhat perplexed, then he said they all were 13% ABV: a red dry wine, a white, a pomegranate wine, cherry, currant and raspberry wine. How they all ended up with 13% ABV is a mistery to me. The fruit wines were quite good and I decided to buy a bottle of cherry wine. It turned out they had only 1 litre plastic bottles and they were not sealed as they didn't have the official license. Then we also found out that the prices for locals were twice as low. It was a very long and disappointing tour.

Absolutely excellent the tour was enlightening without being overwhelming and Anastasia was entertaining without being pushy, Vartan was an exceptionally competent and courteous driver. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire day We've visited yerevan many times and this was an exceptional opportunity to get out of the city and see some more of this truly amazing country. Service from the company was reassuring and comprehensive at every level will call on them again for future tours with absolute confidence

Wonderful experience! The beauty of the Geghard monastery, Garni temple and Symphony of stones is just astonishing! It so easy to get drunk on the freshness of the air! Our guide Hasmik told us wonderful history of these places! But when she sang the atmosphere went on another level! I want to express my gratitude to Hasmik and Yerani Travel for this incredible experience and the memories!

Very nice tour, the wine factory, the tasting of wines and cognac the monastery and the guide Hasmik were amazing, I highly recommend .

A must-do tour! Full of history, culture, nice food & nature. The first quick stop of our tour was with a view to beautiful mountain Ararat - then we visited the spectacular Geghard monastery which is such a unique place, with churches curved literally in the stone. Garni temple was the next place we saw which is a must-seen monument of Armenia. The symphony of stones is a natural wonder that you shouldn’t miss! The last stop was in a nice tavern where we saw the making process of traditional bread lavash & tasted it with cheese and fruits. At the same place we enjoyed lunch and homemade pomegranate juice. Our amazing tour guide Hasmik has done such a great job enlightening us with historical facts & important information for all the monuments we saw and also for Armenian history in general. Our driver also was great and the whole experience was really worth it. Highly recommended. 💙

The entire experience was just lovely. My tour guide had a fantastic knowledge about the historical concepts, and was explaining them in a really interesting manner which showcases her passion towards the history of Armenia. Moreover, she was also guiding us on the best photographic spots at each and every destination. It was an overall amazing tour, and would love to recommend it!

I went to the Jermuk tour yesterday and let me tell you , it was a full schedule with inspirational and soul touching stops. Our tour guide was Nare , she was very enthusiastic and passionate about the stories of every stop you can feel it and you CANT NOT listen to her. The Jermuk waterfall was a VERY beautiful sight to see and our last stop was the winery where I have been there once before and the owners are very welcoming and had new stuff to offer and for us to experience. Their wine is magical. It is also my second tour with Yerani Travel and it's definitely not the last !! I definitely recommend.

Excellent organisation of the tour. Neat, clean and comfortable mini-buses. WiFi working well. Bottled water available and local sweet gatta was delicious. Fixed menu lunch is organised at a beautiful local restaurant. There are four options including a vegetarian one. You have to pay for the lunch. Five stars for our tour guide, Hasmik! Very polite, informative and friendly. The languages covered are both English and Russian so you have good time in between to enjoy the scenery/be by yourself/take photos. This is a good tour if you want to enjoy a bit of everything like forests of Dilijan, two lakes Parz and Sevan, beautiful village of Dilijan, small local museum and two monasteries. Be prepared though as it is really 9 hours long!
