      Amazing tour and very supportive
We did the private 1 day volcano tour with hike. Amazing experience! The guide and driver were awesome, we had a lot of fun and the place was incredibly beautiful! Organization was perfect. Wild Armenia has also been very helpful with advice and support on the rest of our trip in Armenia. 10/10 recommended, we would go again!

Delightful trekking trough the Geghama mountains.
For our tour we went trekking trough the Geghama mountains and were guided by our awesome instructor Mher. He spoke English fluently and was very friendly and helpful to all of us. The tour itself was very organised and everything was communicated to us clearly. Armenia has beautiful landscapes and nature for you to discover and with the help of Wild Armenia you can do just that! I would advise to book a tour of a couple of days because you will be able to see more and really take it all in. All in all the tour was the highlight of our vacation and I definitely recommend Wild Armenia to everybody.

      Amazing views and exellent organization
We had incredible experience and we could enjoy the beauty of Armenian nature, even we had just one day for trip. We did private tour to Tavush province "Day Hike to Lastiver Waterfall and Caves". The information from manager pre-travel was excellent and very detalized. He pay attention to all details what was requested. From start to finish, this was a great adventure. From the Dilijan tunnel to the point where we started we were enjoying wonderful view of mountains. The hiking trail was amazing. I would say it`s easiest level of hiking. But our group are low experienced in hiking, so this type of trail satisfied and did`t make us tired. We had wonderful guide Mher who was always paying attention to ensure we were doing good. He made various suggestions that helped us get the most from this trip. Like that we had a chance to visit Haxarcin Monastery and guid told us many intresting facts about this ancient complex. They booked for our group very nice restaurant in Dilijon "Papanino House". We really liked this place. I highly recommend Wild Armenia and I will definitely use their service for my next trip to Armenia. Espessially, I`m inspired by their tour to Aragats.

      Fantastic Experience in Smbataberd Fortress
If you're planning a hike in Armenia - please, look no further! You will NOT find anything better, I promise! I was a sole organizer of our yearly team building trip this year - as we chose Armenia, I had no doubt that we must do some kind of hike in this wonderful country. I am so glad that I found Wild Armenia! From the first moment I got in contact with Ashot (and driver Zorro!) it was clear that we are in great hands. Ashot exceeded our expectations every time - not only he offered multiple options for hikes depending on weather, but he was incredibly kind and patient with such inexperienced group of 15 - taken in account that our country Lithuania has a highest point of less than 300 meters, this should come as no surprise, but we definitely overestimated our physical readiness a bit haha... 😅 But in the end it was all worth it - we are already back in the office, and we can't stop talking about this fantastic hike! I can honestly say it was the highlight of our trip. Anyway, Ashot was with us every step of the way, and was kind enough to make some adjustments to the itinerary even at the last minute - we really appreciated the flexibility that Wild Armenia team has to offer. Also, another unexpected advantage was that Ashot without any hesitation helped us to get table reservations at very awesome places - we are super grateful for that as well. I have a feeling that we will be back to Armenia next year. And Wild Armenia team is one of the main reasons for sure..! 😉

      Astonishing Solo Hiking Adventure
As i travelled alone to Armenia, I was doubting on booking a private hiking trip at first. After alot of research and reviews, understanding of it’s safety in the country with the friendliness of the citizens. I decided to give it a Go. Ashot guided me through the best trail I ever experienced so far. We went to Lastiver and took the trail up heel down to the river side, the whole journey was astonishing with beautiful autumn leafs fallen along the way. Most importantly, I was guided safely and it was very memorable! A million thanks to Ashot for his warm hospitality.

      Unforgettable Hikes
I contacted Wild Armenia for a 3 day taylor-made hiking trip for my husband and myself. I had an excellent contact with the founder Ashot beforehand. He was very flexible as I had to make changes to our programme several time because of family issues. He made an excellent programme for us with the amazing guide Mher. Mher is one with the mountains, is very experienced, totally prepared for any situation. He is very passionate about outdoors and he, as well as Ashot, know a lot about history and culture. So we learned so much about the country in a short time. The first day was Areni (wine region), Noravank, Smbataberd, Tsakhats Kar (fortress and monasteries). The second day was in the area around Old Khot, Old Halidzor etc. and the third day Tatev monastery and surroundings. But Ashot can design something specific for anyone's interests and level of hiking.

Amazing climbing tour to Artanish Mountain at Lake Sevan
Could not recommend this company more highly. Ashot the manager was very quick to respond to our emails providing outstanding customer service. He suggested a 4 hour hike to the top of Artanish Mountain based on our request to see amazing mountain views and scenery. He absolutely nailed the brief; the views from the top were stunning. As the majority of the hike was in snow, he even sourced appropriate hiking boots for us to hire so we didn't have to purchase our own own. Ashot was also super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. After the hike he took us to the Sevanavank monastery and even shouted us a coffee and donut at a local bakery which was totally unexpected and very kind of him, and then dropped us off at our car hire company after the tour concluded to save us walking from our hotel. On top of that, during our chats we mentioned how badly we wanted to see wild mountain goats and bears so he made some calls and sent us all the information we needed to know where to go to make this a reality the next day. Whilst we didn't see any bears, we saw 6 wild Bezoar Goats which was incredible and he gave us further tips on what to see on the drive down to Tatev. If you are planning on doing any hiking or adventure tours while in Armenia, I strongly recommend Ashot's company. 10/10 hiking tour and customer service. Thanks Ashot!

      Mt Aragats Northern Summit
If you’re thinking of doing any hiking in Armenia, look no further than Wild Armenia. These guys are awesome. Ashot did an excellent job of organising my hike up Mt Aragats, not to mention the countless emails we exchanged prior to me arriving on Yerevan. My guide for the day Artashes, is well experienced on mountains. We started later than usual due to my late arrival in Yerevan. But he made sure we kept a consistent pace with enough breaks in between to ensure we get up to the summit and back safely and while there was still daylight. Thank you Ashot, Artashes and Wild Armenia for an unforgettable day hike up Mt Aragats.

      Cave visit and lunch
We had a great day with Ashot! We were open as to what activity to do, so Ashot suggested a day tour that fit with our time and interest, quite wisely. First we went to explore a cave that was a few hundred meters deep, all the way down into the depths of the earth. It was quite a scene! We had a delicious lunch at a guest house where Ashot drove us in his comfy jeep and it was a great choice. Later we went to another cave that was a 6100 years old wine press, the oldest in the world we were told. Impressive! During the day we had fun conversations and he gave us some history insight about Armenia in general and the specific places we visited in a fun way. Overall, it was a great experience, Ashot is knowledgeable and interesting, and I'd definitely do another route perhaps to a mountain next time.

      Unforgettable 5 day adventure!
Ashot and his team planned an incredible trip which was perfectly organised and adapted to our demands for an extremely reasonable price. Thank you so much for making this trip so memorable, educational and exciting. We will definitely be back with friends and family to see more of what Armenia has to offer. Here are some of the sites we visited: hiked to Noravank monastery, wine degustation at Old Bridge Winery (delicious wine and food!), hiked to Karmir Lake which was so beautiful, hike to Tatev monastery, ride in the longest cable car, Jermurk waterfall... The highlight for us were offroading to Ughtasar Lake and camping in the mountain. We also loved the drive to the Jermuk geyser where we swam and took incredible pictures! Ashot also recommended some delicious restaurants in Yerevan which he booked for us and made sure to provide me with delicious vegetarian breakfasts, lunch and dinners. Overall, Ashot's flexibility, organisation and sense of humour were greatly appreciated and he really put all of his effort to provide the best possible experience for us. I would highly reccomend Wild Armenia to anyone travelling to Armenia, we are sure there is no better way to visit this beautiful country!

      Memorable trip
I'm glad I have chosen this company. Price was reasonable. Thank you Ashot for arranging everything including my gluten free lunch. My guide Shushan (she has a peak on Geghama mountains named after her) was very experienced and knowledgeable, she was also very patient with me as I was super slow. This hiking trip was definitely the #1 highlight of my holiday. We visited 2 churches and saw lavash baking after the hike too. One stone many birds! Highly recommended.

Memorable hiking trip of mysterious Geghama Mountains of Armenia
Wild Armenia- Ashot and his team so well executed the trip that I was surprised to hear that this was their first experience dealing with such a big group. I was one of the members of the large group of 18 people recently visited Armenia. On the first day of hiking, due to the heat, I was knocked out with my migraine. But Ashot arranged to take me in his 4X4 to the campsite. As soon as we reached the campsite, he put up the tent for me so that I can take rest. Next day I didn't dare to hike due to the sickness and decided to stay in the jeep. I had incredible contrasting experience of driving in the mountain with the Ashot and his team. I also observed that behind scene how hard and efficiently the team works to give us an unforgettable experience. The team members were pretty young enthusiastic, energetic, happy, and execute their responsibilities with full maturity and flawlessly. Food was amazing throughout the trip. Every need was met without hesitation - from getting milk or wine or to taking us to see the graveyard at the end of the tiring day. On the third day, I had the enjoyable experience of hiking with the group through mountain and flower meadows, beautiful medieval and new monasteries, hospitality by the locals with a warm cup of tea and homemade cheese when it was most needed. The day ended at the lake Sevan, where Ashost and his team were waiting with mouthwatering dinner for us. Ashot is very knowledgeable, has inexhaustible patience, and the ability to identify people's needs. Sonia's cooking was the icing on the cake. We had an incredible and memorable experience with wild Armenia and highly recommend them to explore the mysterious mountains of Armenia...

Adventure of the lifetime (so far ;))
I met the Wild Armenia gang through Go London and right from the beginning to the end of the excursion my expectations were exceeded. Our guides were Shushan and Karina who looked after us and inspired with their incredible knowledge of mountain guiding and local history. The logistics team we're super fun, flexible and professional. We had the best food I have eaten while wild camping which was a massive surprise. The route was incredible varied, with breathtaking scenery and some unexpected events like visiting Yazidi settlements where we were welcomed with freshly baked bread and cheese and vodka of course! All in all a great adventure, great people and genuine Armenian hospitality!

Mher took us to a day of trekking at mount Aragats. He is a skilled mountaineer and a excellent host. With lots of information to give on the way and always taking great care for our safety, wellbeing and making sure we had a pleasant day. Although a bit cloudy at the top, it was a great hike and a highlight of our visit to Armenia. Would warmly recommend it to anyone!
