- Tourist435514525640 contributionsFantastic Tour Awaits You!Today (Fri, OCT 4, 2024) we had a PRIVATE TOUR of GARNI TEMPLE, Geghard Mon., Symphony of Stones and watched a Lavash Master Class. Our driver was most excellent and his name was Hovik. He could and did navigate the bustling streets brilliantly! He was most kind to us as well! Our private tour guide was Michael. He knew so much about each place we went to and had a great sense of humor. He has actually been the best guide we have had so far. We have one more tour tomorrow. GARNI Temple was a pretty amazing site to see. Michael explained to us in detail about this temple. The landscape around GARNI (in and through the area) is breathtaking. Michael was able to share with us his knowledge of the beginnings of Armenia as a country and the major significance of Christianity in Armenian life. Side note, we were able to taste a most excellent Armenian dessert called GATA. I used to eat it as a child in Los Angeles. It took me back to my childhood. Our driver said that Garni makes the BEST Gata and he was soooo right. It was freshly baked and delicious! We went to the SYMPHONY STONES!!! Oh my land! The pics you may see does not do it justice. It was an incredible sight to see. We are so glad we went there! We ate lunch at the place where the Lavash making master class was being held. Two women were making lavash ( Armenia’s bread) and they have been doing it for over 24 years. It was delicious. We were able to make sandwiches after the lavash was made. Then we had a delicious lunch (BBQ CHICKEN, eggplant salad, etc). After that, we went to the Geghard Monastery. The beginning of the build of this monastery was in the 4th century and it took years to finish. It was built in the rock. Words really can’t describe the feeling you get when you walk into a place that is so historic and has such spiritual significance. It touches the soul. We (there were three of us) all enjoyed our time together and we all had a great time with our guide, Michael and our driver, Hovik. Tomorrow we go on our last tour and I hope we enjoy tomorrow just as much as today. Thank you Hyur! N. RogersWritten 4 October 2024
- skydiver81810 contributionsBus tour Garni, Sevan, etc.Everything was great. The guide Arpi is really friendly and well known Armenian history lady. I've got a nice trip. The driver Aram drove a bus carefully through winding mountains roadsWritten 4 October 2024
- teodoras4360 contributionsDisappointingVery disappointed with the tour in English (Sevan, Dilijan, on 1st of October). We barely got some information in English language because the guide was focused on the Russian-speaking group. We had to ask for info several times and even then we got a few most basic info. The guide talks 15 minutes in Russian and 3 minutes in English about the same thing. We spent 10 hours on the tour and I learned 3 facts in total. Just to point out that the tour was supposed to be in both languages, she was not doing us a favour by speaking English.Written 3 October 2024
- O1201XP_0 contributionsOur trip to monastery and wineryExcellent trip! The places we visited were all very interesting and mesmerising. The view from the monastery was incredibly breathtaking. However, the most enjoyable part was the winery. Heard a lot of interesting things about the wine production, tasted some wine samples, and had lunch in the local restaurant. The driver Avet was very professional: told us some facts about each place we have visited, made stops with amazing views. He was also always polite and cheerful. The driver itself was save and comfortable.Written 3 October 2024

- yany8430 contributionsWonderful day trip experienceI travelled with my friends to Armenia and booked the day trip with Hyur Service when we arrived. The booking lady is nice and she recommended this route with us. We enjoyed our trip with our lovely and professional guide Tamara and the patient driver Arayik. We made the right choice of this travel agency and recommend to everyone. Our guide Tamara is a good singer and the picture of her is showing herself on a TV broadcasting.Written 1 October 2024
- Dreamer2939010 contributionsThe trip is compatible, covers most of the important scenes, and the lunch is good!I have to say, Ms.Tamara is such a wonderful guide who made the entire trip so impressive and unforgettable, she is so nice and her even sang a song for us and her voice is just like a godsend! I love her so much!Written 1 October 2024
- richardrZ2414UA0 contributionsPrivate tour to Geghard Monastery, etc.Our driver, Azakel, was polite and professional and very helpful. The selection of places we visited was just right. We took lots of pictures and everyone we encountered was very friendly.Written 1 October 2024
- sylviabS5987CT0 contributionsGood tourVery good and courteous guide and driver. Helpful and polite . Enjoyed the conversation and the knowledge.Eager to explain history in detail and also to advise us about local restaurants and shops. We were amazed about the courtesy and amiability of the Armenian people.Written 1 October 2024
- 431marketab0 contributionsAmazing trip in ArmeniaWe had amazing tour with Hyur, all perfectly organized. Tour guide Keran and driver Khatchatur very friendly, make it even more special. Beautiful monasteries, stunning views.Written 1 October 2024
- mayaba010 contributionsBeautiful Views, Learned a lot about Ancient Armenian HistoryAmazing knowledgeable guide Manya showed us the unique characteristics of Armenian Churches and we learned a great deal about ancient Christian history. The birds cave excavation site was a really unique experience where you can see how ancient Armenian people lived in caves. Noravank is a gorgeous monastery and the mountainous hills surrounding it are breathtaking. Worth the drive just for the views. Wine factory tour was neat to see the technologies and equipment used in a modern factory. Lunch was delicious with a variety of options. Be aware Noravank no longer allows guests to climb the stairs to the second level due to safety reasons. Would recommend this tour!Written 30 September 2024

I recently explored some of Armenia's beautiful attractions, each offering unique experiences. Tsaghkadzor was delightful, with the Kecharis Monastery showcasing remarkable architecture and serene surroundings. Riding the Tsaghkadzor Ropeway provided stunning views of the mountains. Lake Sevan was a breathtaking sight, and visiting the Sevanavank Monastery on its peninsula added to the area's charm. In Dilijan, I enjoyed the lush landscapes and the welcoming atmosphere of this charming town. The Haghartsin Monastery, nestled in the forest, was peaceful and picturesque, while the Goshavank Monastery impressed me with its intricate carvings and historical significance. A special thank you to our driver, Grigor, whose expertise and friendliness made the trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting these sites to anyone traveling to Armenia!

Our private family tour throughout different provinces of Armenia was very exciting and interesting. Our experienced tour guide, Ms. Rose provided an informative explanation of Armenia’s history, geography, religion and infrastructure. She was also very keen to answer any questions that we had. A surprising geographical feature we saw during the drive was the the mountainous area with a tunnel which had forests on one side and none on the other! We also had a smooth and safe trip thanks to our experienced driver, Mr. Karin.

I took the one day private trip with Hyur guide Sam and driver Xachik. Both of them are fantastic.
Sam spoke perfect English. He was very friendly, nice, and knowledgable. He went into details of the history, geography and anecdotal stories of the places that we visited. He also helped taking a lot of good pictures for me.
Xachik drove safely and was very friendly and patient!
It was a day of huge fun! The views are fantastic, lunch(I suggest to choose the option of including the lunch) was delicious and the Armenian people I encountered super nice! I highly recommend Sam and Xachik!

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). Took this private tour with guide Sam. He was very flexible and friendly, especially friendly with the kids. He let us do the trip at our pace carefully explaining every step of the way. He didn't judge us for not climbing the 200+ steps for the monastery (the kids preferred the lakeside). And I loved how he kept telling us stories and trivia throughout the time. The driver was very safe. Thanks!

I liked the service very much! The guide was proffessional, caring and nice person! I forgot his name, but he said it is like Chris, if in English. Stories were interesting, objects worth to see them. Water for free on the bus. I honestly reccomend to choose this company for your travels around Dilijan!

Hi,
Regarding the package, we would be given a driver regardless of whether we want a guide or not, yes?
Also, is Aghababyan hotel included in your hotel list from where we can be directly picked up?
Thanks
