We did take a tour of the Old City with Vusal.
He was very interesting Guide to talk to with many personal hobbies.
Fun served with a well presented slice of history sprinkeld with the best stories from diferent Azerbaijan. This is as close as you you get to the old ghazal tradition.
What I would like to know is the name of the philosopher who said before his death the sun tuns yellow before the sunset? Told by the bronze statuÄ™ of Aliaga Vahid.

Embracing the local Culture through a local
A great way to see and understand the culture, architecture and essence of the city. Our extremely passionate and enthusiastic guide - Shahin was very knowledgable and shared with us the history , etymologies of the city . He also recommended the restaurants for lunch which was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour if you would like to embrace the local culture.

Best free walking tour
We had a great free walking tour with Seymur who was great in explaining all the buildings, telling nice stories and answered all our questions to the history, people and public life.

We had our tour with Hossain in Old Town. He was really informative and intelligent tour guide, for a short period we hesitated that he was historian rather tour guide, highly recommended!

Baku free walking tour
It was a great event, Huseyn our guide was very friendly, well informed and spoke English well.
He had a lot of patience with his tourists taking pictures and answering their questions.
The ancient city of Baku is very beautiful and could also serve as a setting for movies like "GOT".
The guide provided us with a lot of usefull information.

100% recommendable!

Very nice travel in history

We took a walking tour in old city Baku with Baku Holidays Travel.
It was an amazing experience and travel in time ; our guide familiarized us with the history of the old town Baku: is was a pleasure to walk on the old streets.
