This was a magical experience that stands as the highlight of our two weeks in Azerbaijan. The village is wonderfully remote and really tricky to reach, the driver did a fabulous job of reaching it via a series of narrow rocky roads. Honestly, I don't know how he did it, incredibly skilful, careful and patient. Our guide Sabina was the perfect host and gave us plenty of insight into Azerbaijan and its culture throughout the day. Having tea and dinner in a villager's home is something you'll never forget, while the hike itself provides breathtaking views. My wife and I took a private tour of the mud volcanoes, the Gobustan petroglyphs, the Fire Temple (Ateshgah) and Burning Mountain (Yanar Dag). Our guide Rajab and a driver picked us up from our apartment and safely took us from point to point providing detailed historic overviews of everything along the way. Rajab spoke very good English, was patient in letting us take our time and was super organised in making phone calls ahead of time to make sure that everything ran like clockwork. We loved our tour guide Shahriyar. He was kind, knowledgeable and fun. We felt safe and cared for. His taxi colleagues were also kind and welcoming. The gobustan petroglyphs visit was a bit crowded in some parts but very nice nonetheless. We enjoyed the back country drive to the mud volcanoes as well. Great tour! Thank you Shahriyar.

We had a great couple of days on the Khinalig-Griz hike with Sabina as our informative guide. The scenery and hospitality were both fantastic and arranging everything beforehand was very easy thanks to her responsive communication in excellent English. Thoroughly recommend Sabina and the business she has built.

A great experience. First day was unfortunately foggy but we awoke to beautiful weather in the next morning with wonderful panorama during the second day’s hike. The hike itself is varying and definitely a highlight for us who have hiked in the whole world. The food at the village people’s homes was excellent with lots of new tastes. We felt welcome at all the places we ate and slept. Our guide Sabina was great, she explained everything in excellent english and seemed to be friend with everyone in the mountain villages. The tour organization was well and detaljed. We highly recommend making this hike!

Our fabulous guide Sabina provided my wife and I with a wealth of history of the region which was all very informative and interesting. Great inter action with a local family in a remote area for a delicious lunch. Breathtaking views and she stopped at all the great points if interest it was all very well organized.

Sabina was a fantastic guide. Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed our day hiking and exploring, and the lunch provided at Khinalig was delicious! I cannot recommend this day trip enough to anyone who is planning on visiting Baku. Thanks again Sabina!

Was a good experience to this tour. Missed the mud volcanos due to the rains, so avoid booking this tour if there is a rain predicted, bcoz they don’t refund the money in this case. Although the guide is good and professional. Better to look at the weather predictions for next few days before booking this tour.

The hike was great! Even with the fog and snow, the mountain is still great! Sabina was a friendly and hospitable host, and the village people welcomed me warmly. The peak was hidden by clouds, which made me want to do this one day in summer.

The trips with them has been very delightful. I have been part of several group tours. When I first moved to baku , their hiking tours gave me a opportunity of seeing all the places of azerbaijan , including the villages and the country sides ,moutains and forests , unseen waterfalls and snow mountains . They not only provided an oppurtunity to travel but also chance to meet and interact with like miinded people. They provided very cost effective trips and reasonable prices , which attracted the local crowd and foreigners equally well. The tour organisers spoke english quite well and had great organising skills. Over the years I have seen them improving the quality of tours. The travel insurances and the payments and pre-bookings facilities had improved. The one who runs the organisation , puts her heart in to making the travels and trips more satisfactory , and tries the best to get the most out of the trip for her clients , in terms of exploring and giving oppurtunity to interact with the local crowd. The owner herself had been a traveller and which is why they value the experiences and tries to deliver the same . Well organised , punctual , payments are clean, notifications are made promplty. Happy with their trips .

Fantastic experience. I found this tour through their instagram page and contacted bag baku. They responded immediately and next thing i know is that i am in the most beautiful part of the Caucasian mountains. Firstly about the place and hiking - The place is something magical. the foggy weather made the hiking feel like i am having some magical experience. The hiking was fairly easy and it was worth spending a day out of the city life Secondly about Bagbaku - Their hospitality and attention to details made me feel so comfortable. The guide was so polite and so respectful. they were making sure that we have enough water, food with us before starting the hiking. They even took us to one of the houses in Xinaliq village and we had a very nice time interacting with the locals and had the tea and jam which they made. The guide was updating us about the weather forecast before the trip.

Xinaliq hiking tour was really amazing. I will highly recommend for those who love the nature and wants to spend some time in this beautiful mountains. Bag baku was amazing in making sure every single thing was well managed. They put our safety and comfort as their first priority. The guide was so friendly.
