The Gobustan & Absheron group tour was a fantastic journey through Azerbaijan’s rich history, made truly special by our incredible guide, Sölmaz Khanam. Her knowledge was impressive, and her sense of humor kept the entire group entertained and engaged throughout the day. From the ancient carvings of Gobustan to the surreal landscapes of the Absheron Peninsula, every stop was brought to life through her storytelling. While the tour itself was well-paced and informative, the only letdown was the lunch — it was too basic and not very filling, especially after an active morning. I’d happily give this tour 5 stars if the lunch matched the quality of the rest of the experience. Still, it’s a must-do, and if Sölmaz is your guide, you’re in excellent hands.

I would highly recommend this company for planning your tours and you would be very lucky if you come across Nazperi as your tour guide as she is amazingly good, speaks very fluent and clear English; she is very knowledgeable and is super funny. She is the best your guide I have ever come across

We had amazing time with this tour, our tour operator Mr Rasim Guliyev and his team were so knowledgeable, friendly and excellent customer service, that they made this tour so much enjoyable.

The natural sites in Azerbaijan are amazing, and the ability of our guide to deliver so many in one day is amazing. Some are UNESCO sites. We saw 40,000 year old petroglyphs, mud volcanoes, methane-fed flames that have been burning for millennia, the first oil well in the world, and several museums. We also stopped for an excellent lunch to fuel us up for the afternoon. Our guide, Solmaz, spoke excellent English (and Russian, Turkish, and Azerbaijan) and educated us on each site and on life and culture in Azerbaijan. This 8-hour tour covers so much outside Baku. Highly recommended!

His extraordinary knowledge of the history of these places, as well as Azerbaijan in general, made the tour truly insightful.
