Kick-start your day in the morning with our city tour which include visits to the main attractions in Brunei city such as the Morning Market, also known as "Tamu Kianggeh", Malay Technology Museum, which showcases the different types of traditional architectures, various types of handicrafts and cottage industries and the indigenous technologies of the mainland people. We can never miss out the two national mosques of Brunei: Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque and not to forget a photo stop at the entrance of the biggest residential palace in the World – Istana Nurul Iman which is the official residence of His Majesty The Sultan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, marking your visit to Brunei. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we will continue with visit to the Royal Regalia Museum which was built in 1992 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty’s The Sultan of Brunei accession to the throne in 1967. The museum houses a collection of royal paraphernalia and also an exhibition on the Constitution of the nation.
After that, we will enjoy a scenic boat ride at the biggest Malay Water Village in the world, also known as the “Venice of the East” and a visit to a local home where you can witness the daily livelihood of a typical villagers living in houses on stilts on Brunei River. Local refreshments will be served. Visit Yayasan Shopping Complex before transfer back to your hotel.
