Just fantastic trip!
Oct 2021
We (a group of 8 Russians) travelled in Pakistan from 3 till 17 October 2021. Unforgettable experience - incredible mountains, ancient culture and fantastic people! Excellent organization of our trip by Hunza Guides. They tried to fulfill every our wish!
The best part of our trip was in the mountains - Chitral, Calash Valleys, Hunza.
And it's not dangerous in Pakistan! We felt ourselves very safe.

all services were very good (transport, accomodations), hotels and restaurant were very nice, clean, and food was yum!
the guide assigned to us was skilled and competent, at the base camp chefs were really exceptional (we're trying to replicate their meals every day at home!), our tents were very good, all the guys who helped us with all the baggages very good men, and in the end for all 42 day of our mountain climbing trip in Pakistan, Hunza provided all the best services all along the way.
And very important, I want to add that I had a health issue just before our trip departure, and we had to rischedule all, postponing by two months; Hunza didn't made any problem out of it, they were very understanding and sympathetic, and didn't charge us nothing for the last minute issue!

thanks for your kindness and helpfulness!

Coolest journey, Refreshing experience
Jul 2019 • Family
Visited Hunza and polo game. The hosts were great(espeically Faizan:), welcoming and amicable. They tried to provide the best experience for us. Though it was the first time they did the trip with a Chinese group, they were very professional. Though the bumpy roads and Wifiless were major pain, the unique difference and spectular views made it up. We were even able to visit the King of Hunza, the polo game was also worth watching. A very original trip.

Unpredictable events and travails, yet we got there and back
Jun 2019 • Friends
Our trip to K2 base camp was beset by many incidents that required experienced hands to conquer. My daughter's illness, that for all intents and purposes had ended our journey after one day, was monitored by our number 2 guide and his decision that her recovery and walking strength were such that we could continue was a magic moment. The rest of the group had moved on that day and I was resigned to a trek cut short so thanks Manshoor!. The loss of gear when two donkeys/ horses were swept away by the river required the replacement of enough gear to keep the trek viable and somehow that appeared through the network that exists along the trail. The unseasonal snow at Concordia made a visit to K2 base camp untenable but what better place to spend a whole day with crystal clear skies. Our return to the walk's start had a recent avalanche debris field to negotiate and a waterfall with rock debris in the water pounding the path just near Askole yet our guides and cooks got us through. Our jeep journey from Askole to Skardu was an adventure in itself taking 16-17 hours due to wash away that left gaping holes in the road that needed filling with rocks and rockfalls that required clearing before the jeeps could continue. All this topped off by a 8:30pm fording of a stream that had caused another wash away that the jeeps would never cross. A minibus that was to pick us up could not get through yet somehow two locals on motor bikes came along and just happened to have vehicles they were able to go and get and take us to Skardu. The staff at the hotel Concordia then served us dinner at midnight! That doesn't happen without some great guiding expertise and through Hunza guides we were always looked after and were never going to miss the flight to Islamabad as scheduled. A fantastic experience/adventure/achievement with a good humoured group and guides. Was it all perfect? No way but overall just amazing. One suggestion, check out that return leg from Urdukas to Paiju. The estimated time deserves review upwards in length of time given the terrain and the desire to enjoy the scenery...particularly if the scenery is obscured by cloud on the way up.

Very professional company !
Jun 2019 • Solo
Very professional company!!! I wanted to book my trip with Hunza Guides as they have amazing reviews and worked with WELL renowned UK companies. Unfortunately, their trips were fully booked and the additional date they offered was not convenient for me. When I emailed them that I found another company that could accomodate my schedule needs and therefore will need to book elsewhere, their reaction was so professional and warm. They also oferred to advise on the company that I planned to book with. Despite being competitors, they provided very balanced and, I believe, honest opinion, which helped me to feel more comfortable to go for the other company. It is pity I cannot got with Hunza Guides but this experience and their attitude tell you smth about their professionalism! I would not hesitate to book with them ! thank you.
