Gari tours were quick and responsive in providing quotations and recommendations on places to visit. We had a fantastic guide - Krish! He hiked with us throughout (we did 4 hikes and SalonPas was our best friend after 3 days) , drove us long distances, looked after us, accommodated to our dietary requests, took lots of pictures and just always made sure we were doing fine and having a good time. We became quick friends and would love to explore more of Sri Lanka with Krish again!

We went on tour from 13th April - 20th April 2019. It was organised by GARI tours and it was perfect. We are from Australia and communicated via email And whats app. Thushi was excellent in organising a customised tour of all the things we wanted to see. She was very quick with her communication. We had Krishanth as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable with all the local information. He was extremely helpful and so nice. He even offered to send us spices etc from Sri Lanka! He made us feel really comfortable and adapted the tour with the things we wanted to do and see. Roland was our driver and he was so patient waiting whilst we toured around. We travelled with young children 9yrs and 6yrs and both Krishanth and Roland made them feel comfortable and was happy to do the extra bathroom breaks when needed. Used GARI tours on recommendation of a friend whose visiting in a few months. Our driver Krish was fantastic and kind and answered our questions, gave us plenty of info, and even took lots of photos for us! There is so much to see in Sri Lanka that I would recommend using a tour company to see it all if you’re on a time limit like we were (darn it, not being a multi millionaire and having to work!) Due to the limited time i have for travel, i chose specific location to go on tour. Basically i needed a guide/driver who can take me to the location i want to see in a day. Some of the tour companies have canned responses and does not customize to the needs of the client. Thushi was quick to respond to my inquiry and has assigned Mr. Rukshan as my guide/driver. Gari Tours had been flexible and patient to each questions I have during the process and they are quick to advise to any strenuous activity there is. We had a fantastic tour to the Eastern side of Sri Lanka in june 2017. We were 6 of us in the family. The van, the driver cum the tour guide made our journey comfortable and cheerful and fun.The hotels given by Gari Tours were good, rooms are large with good air conditioning, breakfast in the hotels with good taste, varieties of vege and non vege food items. Both lunch and dinner on all days are still remembered for their good taste, all the places we visited are good tourist attractions with lots of shopping places, most of all a big thanks to Ms.Thushi, the director in charge who accommodated most of our needs with even last minute changes in food and tour itenary. My wife and I were new to Sti Lanka and wanted to get am overall feel of the country in one visit. Gari managed that in 10 days. There was a lot of early starts and long morning drives but the car was comfortable and the driver very safe. We verty much enjoyed the elephant sanctuary, the spice garden and the elephant safari. However some of the historic sittes were a little hard going, particularly the Pagodas which was an expensive trip and overrated in our opinion. Horton Plains was a OK walk over some 9 Km but the waterfall and the walk from there to the base was a little tedious and certainly not as exciting as painted. The hotels were fine and the smallest of them , in the mountains was excellent although getting there by the historic train seemed to take forever. Shopping on the last day was value for money. To conclude, Gari are a very helpful company, very good at communicatiing with their customers.
