Hansika was absolutely great and arranged all our tours from the comfort of what’s app. Throughly recommend using them for booking excursions no problem and very easy to book. Excellent service.Written 13 February 2025
- Trek434441410860 contributionsGreat safari - bring snacksGreat trip, saw lots of wildlife and the drivers were very helpful at spotting the wildlife and explaining facts etc. One small issue was that it started so early we weren't able to get breakfast as nowhere was open and no snacks provided, so it's useful to arrange something to take. The driver was great and stopped at a place for us to pick something up when we got there (6am) otherwise we'd have been falling over from hunger.Written 13 February 2025
- P8738BNjustind0 contributionsElephant Splendor!I booked my Safari through Lakpura Tourism and under the stewardship of Hansika and Kani I was able to enjoy an amazing sunset Safari where we saw many elephants, water buffalo, birds, crocodiles, and even a monitor lizard! The Safari was amazing, but the service provided by the Lakpura team was top notch. They were extremely communicative making the trip completely stress free from a logistical standpoint. I look forward to using Lakpura the next time I return!Written 12 February 2025

- keziahazelp0 contributionsFantastic ExperienceI booked a private car for myself for 10 days with a chauffeur cum guide. I also booked 3 activities through Lakpura. 1- Sigiriya Village Tour with Bull cart ride, boat ride, traditional village lunch and Tuk Tuk ride with hotel pick and drop. 2- Minneriya Elephant Afternoon Jeep Safari 3, Elephant ride from Sigiriya. Minus points - I was originally offered a sedan car which got changed at the last minute to a maturity wagon r. I did not mind this since I was a Solo traveler and my only condition was the car had to be in a good condition and have a powerful aircon which it did. The activities that I booked through Lakpura I quickly learnt was a big mistake since they over charged me like crazy and also took me to cheaper sightseeing places than what I booked. For example instead of Minneriya I was taken to a cheaper park Hurulu Eco and did the elephant ride there. When I brought to their notice they agreed to refund me 15000 LkR however I still feel I was heavily overcharged. Not happy with this. Plus points - Lakpura did arrange for a cheaper car option for my 10 days trip amounting to 500 USD with all inclusive - Toll, Parking Charged, Full tank Fuel, unlimited mileage within the given route of my designed itinerary, insurance, First Aid, High way Fees, Drivers accommodation, his meals and any other expenses, any other charges on road and 1.5 litres of sealed water bottle per day. Sri Nanda Perera was an excellent chauffeur cum guide cum friend. He took great care of me during the entire 10 days of trip and made sure that I did not face any problems, helped me beyond my expectations to ensure my trip was excellent and form good memories to take back home. His family was very nice and I spoke with his mother and his 3 kids. His mother made wood apple juice and wood apple puree for me because I wanted to taste the fruit. Sri Nanda also on the way bought me so many new Srilankan fruits, ice cream, Pizza, local snacks, tea and lion Beer on his own cost so that I get to experience the variety of new fruits that I don’t get in India. Sri Nanda is a very fun person and he became my friend so I take away another good friend memories from my trip. Sri Nanda also helped me buy sports shoes at a very reasonable price in Colombo since mine were completely worn out and torn from the trip. Sri Nanda on the last day also helped me exchange my LkR balance money to USD which I used to purchase Whisky for my Father from the duty free outlet at airport. Overall I had a blast in Srilanka for which I will always retain these wonderful memories and wonderful Srilankan people I met during my 10 days trip. Thank you my friend Sri Nanda Perera and I wish you from the bottom of my heart all success in your journey in life to make it to a big successful person in whatever you aspire to do for future businesses.Written 11 February 2025
- W3951QMmichaelb0 contributionsGreat service topped off with a leopard sightingGreat service! Picked up from our hotel in Galle and taken to Yala National Park - was really happy with the safe driving of Jiwantha and his recommendation for lunch. The Guide around the Park was passionate about the animals and explained things well. We saw a leopard which was really special. Thanks for the great experienceWritten 10 February 2025
- thatnytraveler0 contributionsSuper funTrain maybe delayed it once on it get ready for lots for scenic views. Definitely get a window seat in second class not first class since windows don’t open in first class. You’re in for a treat so bring snacks and drinks to chill to while you take in the views. Bring TP since you never know and enjoy the ride.Written 9 February 2025

- uglykoala0 contributionsGreat South Coast OptionWe had an amazing time on this trip and I'm so pleased we selected this option. Mewan was very helpful in seeing up the itinerary before the day and confirming everything with me. The guide on the day arrived promptly and drive safely. He was helpful and pointed us in the right direction if we wanted more information. Out of all the activities I enjoyed the tea plantation the most. If was fascinating learning about the different types of tea, and the shop at the end was also great to visit. My husband enjoyed the turtle sanctuary the most. He liked learning the turtle facts and was enchanted when he was allowed to hold a turtle.Written 1 February 2025

- Janflute0 contributionsEnjoyable experienceWe really enjoyed our safari. Our driver and guide were skilled in spotting and we saw many birds and creatures, including two enormous crocodiles. The elephants didn’t put in a showing, due to the slight rain we were told, but we were lucky enough to see one by the road on the drive back from the park. We had a longer safari than we anticipated and the start time was changed to 2pm. We arrived back at the western park entrance at about 7pm. Our first hour in the park was very quiet and rewarding and we felt like we were the only visitors in the reserve. We were very glad that we had taken our own binoculars to use as this meant that we could see the animals and birds much better than with the naked eye. Our guide spoke little English so we weren’t able to find out much about what we were seeing and the various habitats unfortunately but a quick look at the information board before setting off did help. There was an element of ‘off road’ experience towards the end of our time in the park, which was fun but further animal spotting would have been preferable. Other safari jeeps were also doing this so I guess it’s part of the experience. Communication was good and the driver and guide were there to meet us on our arrival although we felt that a warmer introduction would have been nice.Written 29 January 2025
- GabeK19850 contributionsThe Only Way To See Colombo! An amazing experience with an amazing guide Nishantha. Saw the tour originally through Instagram & loved the novelty of it. Driving around Colombo in the old Jeep was an experience I’ll never forget. In the open air it felt like we were right amongst all the action & hustle & bustle of the city. Our guide was very knowledgeable & made the tour! He looked after us so well. They are not lying about the free flow drinks either! A well stocked esky was onboard with so many options! A highlight was stopping & having a fresh coconut & enjoying that as we drove along. I can’t imagine seeing Colombo any other way! Highly recommend the tour!Written 28 January 2025
