About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Journey625644683880 contributionsWorth a visitAlthough the tickets are q bit expensive, we found the aquarium interesting and a good way to spend a few hours. The 3D helicopter flip was interesting if you are new to Istanbul, but made us all feel a little queasy. The Mirror maze is very amateurish and not worth paying extra for. There are a large variety of fish and sea mammals, and younger kids will love it.Written 1 October 2024
- Likop80 contributionsGood but a bit tough on a hot and humid day.Tuncer is energetic, knowledgeable, and articulate. This was a trip that would have been difficult logistically for us to pull off on our own. The only drawback was that it was a walking tour on a hot and humid day, and we should have taken more breaks to pace ourselves. One of us was worn out and we ended up cutting short the trip by more than an hour.Written 15 September 2024
- agnieszkag3690 contributionsUnforgettable journeyMy guide on the Asian side of Istanbul: Uskudar and Kadikoy full day tour was a very nice man called Tuncer. It was an unforgettable journey through historic times to the present day. The guide has a wealth of historical knowledge and is able to convey it well and get the other person interested. You can see that he puts his heart and soul into his work and enjoys it. This makes it an unforgettable experience for the tourists who travel with him. And I must add that I was very lucky to have the guide all to myself, as I was the only one who had booked a tour for that day. Another company might have cancelled or tried to move me to another day, but not Istanbul Walks and not my guide. And I am very grateful for that. It was a very unforgettable day indeed.Written 30 August 2024
- antoninat2670 contributionsGreat place for every member of the familyIts impressive! Interesting place for everyone. I liked that its very well maintained. Aquariums are big and animals look like they are living well. The penguins were great, but I don`t think they belong there. They should have more space.Written 21 August 2024
- mapmydestination0 contributionsA Day of Bosphorus Beauty and Cultural DelightsSet on this full-day adventure in Istanbul was truly breathtaking! The boat ride along the Bosphorus Strait offered stunning views of majestic bridges, palaces, and mosques. The guided tour of Dolmabahçe Palace was fascinating, and exploring the Spice Bazaar was a sensory delight with its vibrant colors and enticing scents. The highlight was undoubtedly the delicious 3-course meal enjoyed by the beautiful shoreline. This tour is a must-do for anyone visiting Istanbul, offering a perfect blend of sightseeing and cultural experiences.Written 12 April 2024
- 761sajidaa0 contributionscity breakbeautiful city. Food places and lots of things to do. love the shopping. we visited a shop out of the bazar and it was a nice shop with quality leather goods. Will be visiting there again when we are backWritten 24 February 2024
- Piglet19730 contributionsPart of the fabric of IstanbulIf you want to escape the hussle and bustle of the city for an hour, and have a ringside seat to a spiritual ceremony, then this is the place to go. It's not for everyone, but it we found it very relaxing and intriguing.Written 30 January 2024
- mohammedwaqasm0 contributionsGreat Place for family, loads to seeThe best aquarium we as a family ever visited huge selection of sea life very well planned and very clean it was so big we had to take a break in between the rainforest at the end was something else highly recommendedWritten 12 January 2024
- Honey B0 contributionsBadStaff are rude and not welcoming, most of the screens with explanations were not working, part of the aquarium was under maintenence without pre notification, aquarium glass were not clean from inside. It was foggy in some areas, tickets were given to us at the entrance so we were not able to access the Egyptian museum which was paid already until we spoke to the customer services. Did not like the experience in general.Written 5 January 2024
- L4395QNjanh0 contributionsDisappointment at the cancellation of the Cooking Class in Turkey from Istanbul.Unfortunately, the cooking class was cancelled by the organiser, I only found out on the morning of the class when I was confirming the name of the restaurant that would be hosting the cooking class. They asked me to come the week after which was impossible as we were only in Istanbul for 2 days. We were very disappointed, as we had been looking forward to this opportunity during our stay in Istanbul...Written 13 November 2023

- pattyferrington0 contributionsI will never book through trip advisor againNo one showed up to pick me up. It was terrible. When I called the tour company they said Trip Advisor did not give them my reservation. I am still waiting for a refund. Go directly to a travel agent.Written 30 August 2023
- sunilpeter0 contributionsA must do journey in IstanbulIt was a great spiritual experience. Much of this ancient sumi tradition is unknown to most. A must for anyone visiting IstanbulWritten 27 August 2023
- omar a0 contributionsIstanbul AquariumThe aquarium, which is one of the largest in Europe, boasts a helpful front desk that provides excellent assistance. It houses a diverse range of creatures from both the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Although there was no tour guide available or any shows available, we enjoyed the impressive 3D Istanbul tour. However, the shopping mall was considered to be overpriced.Written 6 August 2023
- Experience7517870 contributionsOverpricedFood was mediocre, definitely overpriced for what we learned . The chef was a young girl and she was very sweet and friendly but the flavor of food was just okay. We’ve done many cooking classes all over the world this was probably the most expensive and not that great. On the description they say wine tasting and that was not even offered, I wouldn’t recommend it.Written 20 July 2023
