    What to Expect
Dive into the magnificent and intriguing world of the Ottomans with this private 5-hour walking tour. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and together you’ll explore the iconic highlights of Ottoman architecture. Discover the imperial Topkapi Palace in the heart of Istanbul’s old city with its sprawling grounds, opulent halls, and intricately-tiled harem. Visit Suleymaniye Mosque, designed by the famous Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan and said to be the most splendid mosque in the city.

You’ll peer into the Spice Bazaar, a covered market brimming with spice stands and flower teas. Nearby is the New Mosque, an imposing structure on the water with historic tombs. Walking along the water, arrive in the Tophane, where Ottoman-era ruins dot the neighborhood. Admire the exterior of a hamam (Turkish bath), a grand public fountain, and a medieval production facility.

This tour leaves you with a deeper understanding of Ottoman culture and history. At the end of the tour, your guide will return you to your hotel.
