We had a fantastic time with Yusuf. Having a highly knowledgeable and genial tour guide ensured that our experience of Istanbul and its many culinary delights was highly enjoyable and memorable. There were many highlights during the trip. We loved the experience of crossing the Bosporus on the ferry to Anatolia where we were treated to many new food experiences, carefully chosen and explained along the way. We would highly recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed the day in Istanbul with our guide Mr Kadir, he was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the areas we visited, and took the hassle out of using public transport etc. Having a local guide makes the experience more enjoyable and you get all the information along with the sights your seeing, definitely recommend if you like to walk around a city. I had an incredible day exploring Istanbul with our tour guide, Yusuf Sipahi. His deep knowledge and engaging stories brought each site to life, from iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia to hidden gems like the Perili Köşk and Haydarpasha train station on the Asian side. We also visited the Roman Hippodrome’s Obelisk of Theodosius and Serpentine Column, and learned about local artists and writers at Narmanli Han. Yusuf’s passion for Istanbul’s history and culture made the entire experience unforgettable. I felt lucky to not only see these historic locations but also connect with old friends along the way. Highly recommend Yusuf for a memorable, insightful tour!

This excellent tour brought us to many key historical sites in Istanbul along with a very enjoyable boat trip on the Bosporus. Our tour guide Yusuf was top class - punctual, friendly, professional, and highly informative at all times. Yusuf’s approach provided us with just the right amount of information to ensure our knowledge of this unique city was illuminated and enhanced. We bring many treasured memories of the tour with us and plan to return soon.

Yusuf was an excellent guide. He showed us around and explained the diverse cuisine available in Turkiye. We booked him very early and he kept in touch throughout and was on time for our tour. We explored a little bit of the European side, having Turkish coffee for the first time. We then travelled to the Asian side of Istanbul and Yusuf explained the area and allowed us to sample many foods eaten by the locals. It was a great way to see Istanbul and see areas we probably wouldn't have ventured too. We highly recommend Yusuf for a food or history tour.

A fantastic trip around Istanbul with our amazing guide Kadir who brought Istanbul to life for us. The Palace lived up to expectations and Kadir made some tweaks to the itinerary to make this even more special.

Kadir was our tour guide for two days while visiting Istanbul. He was amazing! He grew up in the area so was able to show us all the places we asked to see along with places the locals go. Definitely recommend Kadir to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Yusuf was very friendly and arranged our tour to suit our desires. We enjoyed a diverse selection of sweet and savory bites at various locations on both sides of Istanbul. We walked, rode the tram and funicular, and ferried across the Marmara sea. We explored areas of the city we wouldn’t have seen otherwise and learned about the rich history of Turkey and its food.

Hatice showed us a lot in two days. We saw tourist places and non tourist places. A fun two days with her. Tasting Boza was a highlight.

It was a pleasure to spend the day with Yusuf - he was knowledgeable and introduced us to areas of Istanbul we would never have seen otherwise. We enjoyed Yusuf’s company and had an experience to remember - thank you 😊

Mustafa was a fantastic guide. We spent the day with him as he showed us around Istanbul, visiting the Blue Mosque and Spice Market, followed by a cruise down the Bosphorus. He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. We cannot recommend him enough.
