Omer was a fabulous tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the region and very accommodating to everyone on the tour with their needs. I had an amazing time. I will be back. Thank you to Bellaturca travel and Omer.

The tour was great!! Our guide Ilay was great, very kind and charming. She was full of knowledge, good energy and insights in regard to the culture, history and traditions that make Cappadocia so unique. The sunrise ballon ride was amazing (I would absolutely recommend a package including this, it was the highlight of the tours) our cave hotel was beautiful. The tour includes stops at scenic locations as well as shops of traditional art (pottery, rugs, jewelry, etc) Just be aware that at each location, while they will give you plenty of knowledge and history about the craft, the hard sell of their wares will immediately follow, and some people in the group were uncomfortable with the persistence of the vendors. Regardless the tour was fantastic, everyone was so hospitable and kind. I highly recommend.

A very special thanks to ILKAY from @turkeyexperiences ( @viator ) for arranging all these for us . ILKAY is One of the best coordinator and best luxurious travel organiser we have seen. He is just a text/call away throughout the day. Be it early morning like 4am airport shuttle coordination or balloon ride at 4:30am or even at night 2am for seamless airport transfers. Great experience , felt so seamless the organization from my hotel in Istanbul to returning from the trip . Enjoyed it all , November is not the best time for the air balloon ride , most trips got cancelled .

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the most exciting trip of a lifetime the 13 Day Turkish Treasures. Our guide Yucel is what made this the most memorable trip for me and my two siblings. I've been on four Gate1 trips and the previous guides were good, but Yucel's knowledge, stories and love of his country really shined through throughout our whole trip. He was very attentive and helpful when translating was necessary. His knowledge of all the sites we visited was very impressive. I would definitely consider returning back to Turkey!

Nice hotel, service minded personel and great tour on the second day. Negative was the way to early flight to get to Cappadocia, the only thing to do the first day was the so-so camel safari witch lasted about one hour. Rest of first day was just nothing. Unfortunatly my baloon ride the second day got cancelled because of to much wind, and if it hadn't been for the great tour we had later that day I'd say it wasn't worth the trip. Our guide Eda was a 10!

Wonderful trip and experience in Cappadocia with the most uniquely awe inspiring hot air balloon ride over the Sun rise in the Goreme valley. Certainly elated with everything packaged into this trip starting with the cave hotel at Zeydem, visits to the monasteries, unesco endorsed mountain churches, underground city and several other breath taking sites like fairy chimney, pigeon valley, uchisar castle and imagination devrent valley. Our guide Umit was very friendly and accommodative!

Just come back from amazing 8 days in Turkey booked with Encounters Travel in UK and locally with Fez travel and guide Goksu. What a fantastic and varied country Turkey is. Istanbul is a very clean and safe city. Afterwards we visited Ephesus, Pamukkale, Hierapolis and Cappadocia. Goksu was a great guide - so knowledgeable and he also helped the whole trip run smoothly. We loved our cave hotel - "Gamirasu". April is a perfect time to visit.

We just returned from our Treasures of Anatolia Trip. The dates of the trip were December 4- 14th, 2023. While reading another review about the same trip, I was sad to hear that Exotica and Euroriente, the travel agency in Turkey were aware about the challenges with the hotel (La Quinta by Wyndham) in Istanbul where we spent the first two days and a half in Istanbul. The hotel in Istanbul, the location was terrible. Istanbul's traffic is insane, and this hotel was very far away from the historical cities in Istanbul, so it took at least an hour to get to any of the sightseeing places. We would urge Exoticca to consider a different hotel in Istanbul for this tour, as wasting several hours in traffic while on vacation is not okay. Our tour guide in Istanbul, Cem Ali, was difficult to understand, and always seemed to be disorganized and in a hurry. We learned at the last day that it was his first tour. Perhaps he was feeling insecure. Fortunate, I am able to understand Spanish and the tour guide assigned to look after the four Spanish-speaking guests was excellent and his historical explanation about each location was delivered with enthusiasm and professionalism. He made every effort to make our trip enjoyable. All his explanations were presented calmly and thoroughly. He welcomed questions, and encouraged us to engage in the discussions and conversations. We must say that Cem Ali provided us information about the next day activities using WhatsApp, which was helpful. He also provided information regarding availability of restrooms (whether we needed to pay or not), food and food choices. He did not provide any information about, distance to walk and difficulty of the walk, souvenir shops and quality of merchandise and how much to pay for things. He could have done more to help and to guide us. He was very patient with a couple that was 5–7 minutes late daily and at every stop we made. Which was annoying; after all, we all knew what time we had to be on the bus. There was no reason to be late on a daily basis. Cem Ali was not very patient or solution focused when I shared about my concerns with leaving our luggage unattended at the hotel lobby while we went on our Balloon ride. He dismissed my concerns with; "the hotel will assume the liability for any loss, but not to worry as it has never happened before." I informed him and other guests that I would not leave my luggage unattended and left my luggage inside my room. The hot air balloon ride was interesting! Ankara, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Asklepion, Troia and Bursa were all incredible and interesting. People were very friendly and I felt safe. The best part of the trip was the people we met and had fun while learning about the rich culture of Turkey. Travelling always comes with ups and downs. It is all part of the journey towards self-discovery and personal growth. Considering everything, this trip was memorable and aside from the few things mentioned, we strongly recommend it.

The Red and Green line day tours were quite disappointing. In totally we were driven to five places to shop ( Carpet, Leather goods, Ceramics, Candies, and Jewelry) . I felt like I spent more time in shops than scenic spots. The guide was doing his minimum except for selling products. The positive side is the Cave Hotel was really nice, best shower ever.

The tour was incredible, they took us to wonderful places and everything was very well explained. The guide (Beylerbeyi Göbek) explained every detail to us with dates, names and past events of each place we visited. The Driver was always attentive and very kind and attentive to our needs. They treated us excellent

Really disappointing. I was told I would be picked from my hotel on booking and when booked I was told as i was in the old town then I could not be picked up as the bus was not able to access. .I had to get a taxi to the meeting point which cost £5 as it was 3am and I was not comfortable about walking there. i was collected 30 minutes late and ended up on a tour for Russian speakers. I do not speak Russian. I told the guide Sultan who did his best but his translation from Russian to English was minimal..I was the only English person on the coach and no one spoke to me. I have complained to Tourmania who say the guide was bilingual . They did not get my point. The guide had me down me as Russian speaking. His translations on learning I could not were minimal. All he was bothered about was selling extras. There was no effort to transfer me to the correct trip for English speakers. There was no refund offered. Do not use

I would have stayed longer or I will do it again in the future! It was great to have the flights and taxi/shuttle booked in advacne to make the most out of Cappadocia.

Hi travelers, If anyone is looking for a great time with easy travel arrangements. I highly recommend this company and tour. This was the highlight of my trip to Turkey — the communication between each tour activity, drivers, pick up, airport transfers,and hotel management was awesome. The camel ride, the hot air balloon, the cave hotel, and the tour around the city 100/10! The management at the cave hotel were so nice and accommodating! They do have photographers during the activities so bring some cash if you would like to purchase but can’t say enough how great this company was. If you are thinking about this company and tour, do it! It will be a memory you won’t forget!
