We saw all the must-see attractions efficiently, and he expertly guided us through the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market. The tour was incredible. It was made so by the guides, Ali and Mehmet. They made the day perfect. Funny, informative, clear English, and patient. That's really all you can ask for. Lunch was great at a local restaurant. The pace was fine. Plenty of time at each spot to explore and take pictures. Overall, one of the best tours I've been on.

Would recommend anyone who’s going for the first time to Istanbul to do this tour, especially with this amazing and knowledgeable tour guy Ali. He told us so many things and gave us time to take pictures of everything around us. It was an incredible experience and day.

My family and I had an absolute blast from the start of our tour through the end. We were able to pique the mind of our tour guide Shakir at every opportunity we wanted - he truly made the experience worth its weight in gold. We got an authentic Turkish experience in more than one way than one. I would ask for Shakir if possible - he’s worth it!

Great trip and the guide was knowledgeable. Keep in mind the Grand Bazaar is closed on Sunday. You can do a lot of this on your own but it’s worth booking through this tour company. Makes it more enjoyable and stress free

We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel, which was great. It is select hotels, so this is only available for specific areas. We went at the 8:30 am time, and I definitely recommend going early. If you go any later, the queues are LONG. The skip the line tickets are worth the cost of the tour alone. I would have spent money on that alone. For the full day tour, it was a lot of sights, so it moved pretty quickly. That's not the guide's fault - there is so much history and culture, you could easily spend multiple days at one of the sights. Just be aware that you are moving on this tour, and you do need to keep up with the guide. Istanbul is so rich in history, with so many cultures coming through a different points in time, this really is just the highlights, and this tour gives a great overview of it all. There is a stop at a store, and they really don't pressure you to purchase anything, but you do sit through a mini presentation (about 5-10 minutes).

We liked this tour very much and would recommend to everyone who is visiting Istanbul. Before the trip Aras arranged our pickup at the Hotel and answered all our question, he was all the time available on phone. Our guide Ali gave us detailed information about all places we visited. He is a very interesting person and a professional guide.

The tour was very good. We have seen the most of the old town of Istanbul (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Bazaar). We were with an amazing tour guide, Ali. He was very nice and was there to answer to the questions that we had. He was making sure that we were all there at each stop. His explanations were clear and with a little bit of humor also. He took us to lunch : the restaurant served local dishes (lentils soup for starter then a main dish with the meat of your choice and then dessert). The best part was the cruise : the views were beautiful. For those who wants to visit the main attractions of Istanbul, this is the tour for you.

The tour was great. There was penlty of time to take pictures at all stops. The guide Ali was awesome! He did a great job explaining everything during the tour and answer any question we had.

We loved this tour. Mehmet was our guide and he was awesome. We loved seeing the Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. The Grand Bazaar was closed on the day we went, but the Spice Market was also really cool. The cruise on the Bosphorus was very relaxing.

The tour was excellent. Sakir did a tremendous job as guide and host, very professional and gave an excellent history of the mosques when we visited them. He was very professional and did a first class job. In the afternoon Celal was our guide he was also exceptionally good as well and explained all the places we saw on the boat cruise as well as the history of this great city. I could not recommend the guides or the tour more highly. Well done

Had an excellent day visiting the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar and several city attractions. Our guide Ali Riza Özdemir gave very good explanations - detailed when needed and more general when things were not as relevant. Ali also took us to a nice food stand where we enjoyed tasteful kebabs. Ali also took us to carpet stores where we learned the process and helped us negotiating with the locals. All in all, a wonderful experience with a great guide who was very knowledgeable and more importantly, patient and amicable with my kids.

My wife and I were in Turkey for our 25th wedding anniversary. Our guide Celal was amazing. He has a deep knowledge of the history of Istanbul and was an absolute pleasure as a guide. He made the day about us and was flexible to accommodate our interests. Celal was very personable and ensured we were taken care of. He even went and got my wife advil when she needed it and went above and beyond the call of duty. If we could give Celal more than 5 stars we would.

Our guide was amazing! Super accommodating he made sure we visit all the places we wanted. It was amazing! Car was perfect! Ac Mercedes mini van, waters on board! Highly recommended. Our guide was great!

Great information and explanations provided by Ali Riza Õzdemir from Popular Travel Tours. Ali spoke loud and clear with good english tongue. Hotel pickup was perfect. So much info was listed it’s a pity I didn’t record Ali speaking :) Ali also gave a tip where to have the *Best* wood fired doner kebab in Istanbul. Great restaurant, great doner! I would definitely recommend Popular Travel and Ali as a tour guide. Thanks for the great experience.
