Excellent guide, very interesting and good pace tour!
Excellent tour with Ozturk, very enjoyable and dedicated person. He made our tour not only interesting touching all the key points but also not too heavy with right pace and breaks. We had a very cold rainy day during our tour and we had the opportunity to warm up with traditional turkish coffee offered to us. We could share also some archeological and historical knowledge on the Roman empire time, as we come originally from Italy, and this made our tour more interesting! Thank you Ozturk for your time and we do recommend this tour!

Amazing local food tour with Erol
This was a great experience. Erol was waiting for us at the meeting point and took us on a wonderful food tour. Not only did Erol show us a wine variety of local foods, but explained the cultural context and gave us a lot of historical background. Everything was at a great pace. The portions were perfect. Errol was a great guide and an interesting eating companion.

    Great tour experience
I would like to provide review for the tour guide mr Erol utgun. He has been a great guide for us on that day , provide us with great insights to us which is definitely beneficial. Knowledgeable and know the various sites very well. Very thoughtful to bring plastic bags for us to put our shoes and very good photography as well. Photos are well taken and has been very patience to answer all our questions. Will definitely recommend to my friends for this day tour. Cheers.

This was the absolute highlight at Istanbul 🍾🥂
Me and my wife were in Istanbul for the first time, and we decided to book this tour to see the Basílica Cistern. Tolga was our tour guide. He made this tour very interesting, being so knowledgeable in the history of Istanbul and telling us every detail of it on our walking tour, that we thought was only to the Cistern, but it turned out to be much more than that, even taking us to a hidden city market that dates back hundreds of years and even contacting a local carpet maker and dealer that has done this for four generations. This was a wonderful unexpected visit where the owner himself showed us in detail how natural silk is extracted from the cocoon and proceeding to show us how it is died naturally and finally how a silk carpet is made by hand in house. Don't miss this wonderful tour with Tolga... I would like to reassure you that you will be surprised how this tour is much more than just a Cistern guided tour. Thank you, Tolga, for being so nice, professional, and friendly to us and for an unforgettable tour.

Thorough, insightful and delicious introduction to Turkish cuisine through the lens and humor of a friendly guide
We booked a small tour, and were lucky enough to get a private one with Kim. She met us in Karakoy, and we worked our way through Pera to Taksim. On the way, we had many mezes, mussels with rice (my favorite), fish wrap, raki and many more.

    Istanbul Food Tour
We have gone on many food tours in different cities, this was by far the most dissatisfied one, I'm sorry to say. The food that it provided just did not justify for the amount charged. A roadside coffee stall stop counted as one course and many were just cheap eats and not so good. However, the hostess was very nice.

    Wonderful experience.
We absolutely loved this tour. The food we tried was delicious. But nothing beats the amazing tour guide, Gazme. She was so much fun and friendly. She did not have a problem making a quick stop at a pharmacy and helping us translate and just answering all the questions. She made us feel comfortable and safe.

    Excellent food tour of Pera
A fantastic addition to any Istanbul itinerary and the best way to experience Pera. I have busted Istanbul before on several occasions but Gamze still showed me parts of the city I had never seen before and took us to some fantastic eateries. The quantity of food, matched with the distance walked, was perfect and we were able to be flexible with allergies. Gamze also gave us some great recommendations for other activities and food in Istanbul. Totally worth the money!

    Lovely memories of Istanbul
We had a tour on Friday evening in October. Our guide was friendly Gamze ☺️, who navigated us trough the evening streets of Istanbul showing us small authentic places and telling us the background and details of Turkish cuisine. It was a lovely experience! For us it was a 3rd time in Istanbul, but still a lot of new insights and special memories! Thank you, Gamze! ☀️☀️

Delicious, unique foodie experiences in the European side of İstanbul with Gamze!
Gamze is a local food expert and was wonderful! She gave us an insiders view to the Para or New District not to miss foodie spots. She was friendly, knowledgeable about great food stops as well as ancient and recent history and we really enjoyed our evening with her!

    Excellent tour, even better guide!
Huseyin is just amazing! We learned a lot about the history of turkey which was really informative. Huseyin had a very unique and interesting take on many things and it didn’t feel like a tour, it felt like we were hanging out with friends. The carpet making process we learned about really made us appreciate the amount of time and energy that goes into this dying art. We got to appreciate structures like the basilica cistern and the blue mosque. We would have liked to cover the Hagia Sophia as well but that was not part of the tour. We ended at the grand bazaar which was personally not exciting or intriguing for us (I guess coming from india it’s not an uncommon sight). Add to that the pushy and manipulative shop keepers don’t make it for a very pleasant experience. That has nothing to do with the tour of course except maybe the choice of location. I would have liked to see the Hagia Sofia instead of the grand bazaar. All in all a great few hours spent with the lovely and kind and honest Huseyin. Highly recommended!

Glad I did this short tour as it gave a greater insight into life in Istanbul. What was of interest in particular was to see locals going about their daily lives. It gave me a different perspective than only seeing tourist destinations. The tunnel metro was also of interest, not speaking or reading Turkish I had walked past the bottom entry several times without understanding what it was. Erol the guide was good also and spoke good English and easy to understand. This tour is short but worthwhile and I would recommend it if you have seen all the historical sites

Erol was a terrific guide, informing and entertaining us with the history and landmarks of the area. Without him, we wouldn’t have known about places “off the beaten track”. Erol had great recommendations of areas to eat and suggested different foods that we knew nothing about. Our only regret is that we didn’t take his tour at the beginning of our stay in Istanbul.

Our tour guide, i think her name is Efol, beautiful reddish hair and terrific personality… well she made the tour a complete pleasure despite the bit of rain today. It was just my husband and i and she was so fun of not only history but interesting trivia in many areas. She was one of the most pleasant guides we had had in all our travels. The passages and their history were amazing. She is kind and very courteous. He helped us get a taxi home because it was dark. She is highly recommended by both of us!!! Thank you so much Efol
