- P3022NSmarkb0 contributionsEntertained, educated, and welcomed to a rich history and current effortsExtraordinarily competent and entertainingly entertaining guide. Bugra spends the right amount of time weaving you into the Eras and activities of antiquity to gain a sense of inclusion with our past generations. He then introduced us to the Heirloom Weaving Center. We learned the history and art of Turkish Carpet weaving. Gorgeous crafts. The entire experience is well worth the costs.Written 25 October 2023

- LEFTOVERRIGHT0 contributionsBest Tour Guide and Hotel Owner!!!!!When I went to Turkey, I stayed at Bugra's hotel. Not only was he a wonderful host, but even a more AMAZING tour guide. Bugra has been a tour guide for 28+ years and he is well versed in the historical significance of the surrounding areas. On his tours, not only does he give you the historical content, but also fun facts to go along with it. I cannot stress enough about how Bugra's tours are "personalized" so there is a lot of personal interaction along with hilarious commentary. Bugra made the history jump off of the pages of the history books. You will NOT lack in your tour experience no matter the destiny within the various areas in Turkey.Written 8 July 2021

We stayed at Hotel Mary’s House for 5 nights and after the first tour of Ephesus decided to go on the Seven Churches of Revelation tour. It took 3 days and we jenjoyed every minute. Bugra Can is an excellent tour guide-highly knowledgeable and great fun. His driving skills were top notch and his van was comfortable. Along the way, he took us to meet some amazing Turkish craftsmen (Lotus Ceramics) and UNESCO sponsored training sites (rugs & cousine). Having lived in Turkey years ago, we were impressed by the respect he had wherever we went and the love he has for his country. A true professional, he catered activities to our preferences. He knows all the best restaurants that were reasonably priced and he always offered to drive us wherever we went. He went above and beyond searching for information on questions I messaged him about before we arrived. Finally, he has a lovely family who are friendly and sweet. His children even came along one day and greatly added to our experience. We felt his prices were more than fair considering the time and effort he saved us if we’d attempted to do these sites on our own. We had a beautiful and amazing trip thanks to Bugra Can and Hotel Mary’s House & Travel Agency.

Burga is an amazing host and tour guide. We spent a beautiful day touring Ephesus, Mary's House and the Basilica of St John the Evangelist. Make sure you book this tour for a personalised and unforgettable experience. Burga's knowledge and love for his culture and local area are outstanding. He gave wonderful explanations and described timelines, answering all questions with flair and enthusiasm, nothing is too much trouble for Burga, he even showed us the best ice cream joint in town afterwards. Do not pass this guy for a personalised tour of Ephesus, to get an authentic feel for these wonderful historical sites.

My wife and I travelled to Selçuk in May 2024 on a roadtrip arranged by Wilusa Travel. They arranged for us to stay at the fabulous Mary's House Hotel in Selçuk and to have Bugra Can guide us through Ephesus, Mary's House, the Temple of Artemis, and St. John's Basilica. It was an extraordinary day. Bugra's knowledge was essential to our understanding of the millennia of history that lies within these amazing sites. We would highly recommend Bugra Can if you are planning to visit Selçuk. And his family's Mary's House Hotel. A wonderful experience for us all round!

My wife and I did the Seven Churches Tour of the Book of Revelation, as well as visiting Mary's House. Bugra was the best tour guide we have ever had. He went out of his way to accommodate us at each and every stop to make sure we had a good experience. He was very knowledgeable about the history of each site and made sure that we connected each site to the biblical reference. He often times took pictures of us at each site. He also made sure we experienced a variety of restaurants along the way so we could experience all of the excellent types of Turkish cuisine. He also took us to local ceramic and carpet shops so we could see how these were actually made. He also was able to help us set up a private Mass inside of Mary's House. We were truly blessed to have him as our guide.

I highly recommend Marys House Travel . I had their service in my first trip in Turkey and it was outstandingly satisfying. We did Ephesus and Cappadocia program for about 6 days and it was perfectly designed based on our needs. Our guide Mr Bugra who is also the owner of the agency is very knowledgeable about Turkish history and culture. He was so detail in explaining the sites and history and we enjoyed every minutes he was describing the place and the story behind. Moreover, he knows a lot about local places who provides local food with great taste. His tour program is undoubtedly awesome. He is also very helpful, has a very high sense of humor, and there is no other words can describe him and his program except “a top class act”.

Me and my friends use Mary's tour while during in Turkey. Mary's tour allows us to prepare places where we want to visit, and Mr. Bugra makes it happen. We visited 7 Revelation Church. Then we traveled for 6 days, from the city of Izmir, Selcuk, Pamukkale, Isparta, Nevsehir, Keyseri. Mr. Bugra invites us to see the local village, eat at the local restaurant, see the historic site, which may not be offered by other tour packages. Mr. Bugra gave a pretty detailed explanation at each place we visited. and he is quite funny. so the trip we did was pleasant even though the distance we traveled was very far. It's like going with your own family. I really enjoyed the trip with Mary's house tour. Thank you Mr. Bugra 😁👍

Boora made our trip to Selçuk very meaningful. Not only is he knowledgeable about the vast history of the sites, but he adds a personal and humorous touch to his explanations. He took us in his comfortable van to Mary’s house, Temple of Artemis, St. John’s basilica, and of course Ephesus. We also stayed at his family’s hotel Mary’s House for three nights which is in the beautiful, quaint old town and they are so friendly and helpful with a fantastic breakfast.

Excellent tour of Temple of Artemis, Virgin Mary’s House, Ephesus and St John’s Basilica . Our guide Bugra was very knowledgeable, interesting and always available to answer any questions. He also offered to take our photographs and offered us lunch at the end of the tour. Bugra’s English is excellent; all in all an outstanding service.

Buğra took me and my friends on a tour of Ephesus, Laodicea, and Pamukkale. He was very professional and I was so glad we chose to have a tour guide rather than go on our own to the places. He was very friendly, happy to share about his country, and allowed us to choose what we wanted to see. Completely worth the cost!

I was so lucky to meet Bugra as a tour guide. He knew the abundant history and religious background, so he explained it easily and interestingly at our level. My parents were very grateful for learning a lot from Bugra after the tour. His hotel was really clean and cozy and the breakfast was delicious. Thanks to Bugra, our trip to Selcuk was really perfect.
