Overview
Make the most of precious sightseeing time in Jerusalem by touring both Old Jerusalem and Bethlehem in a day. After viewing the main sites of the walled city, including the Western Wall and Church of the Holy Sepulchre, continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square. Ideal for travelers with limited time, the trip makes exploring easy and rewarding, with hotel transfers and guided touring included.
What to Expect
Leave your Jerusalem hotel by air-conditioned coach and head for the Mount of Olives, just east of Old Jerusalem.
Admire the panoramas from here over the city and the Dome of the Rock. Pass the Garden of Gethsemane, where it’s held that Jesus prayed before his arrest.
Next, visit Old Jerusalem to view the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) and Via Dolorosa, where Jesus is thought to have walked to Calvary. See some of the stations of the cross and view the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, built on the believed crucifixion site.
Then, pass Jerusalem’s Byzantine-era main street (cardo) before driving on to Bethlehem. Here, visit the Church of the Nativity to see where Jesus is believed to have been born, and discover the adjoining Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches and Manger Square—Bethlehem’s spiritual heart and home to the Mosque of Omar.
Your tour concludes at your Jerusalem hotel.

Bethlehem was a 2hr line due to other groups butting in!

We arrived as a group of 36 to the Church of Nativity with only a short line, it looked like. But...other groups use other doors and alter entrances to 'butt in line'. After 1-1/2hours, we were so irked! The groups began crowding up tightly and...More
