See Old Jerusalem’s holiest sites through Jewish, Christian and Muslim eyes on this revealing 4-hour walking tour. Accompanied by an impartial guide, walk up to the Temple Mount to see its Islamic shrines and learn about its significance to Muslims and Jews. Then, check out landmarks revered in both Judaism and Christianity. See the Western Wall and King David’s Tomb, and visit the Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Hall of the Last Supper, as your guide recounts the potent religious beliefs that swirl around each of them.
  • Three religions walking tour of Old City Jerusalem
  • See religious sites inside the city walls and beyond
  • Learn the ancient stories behind Jerusalem’s holy places
  • Great introduction to the Old City’s main landmarks
What to Expect
Meet a guide in the Old City and set out on foot toward Temple Mount, where the Dome of the Rock marks the place where the Prophet Mohammed is believed to have ascended to heaven. Learn how the site is sacred in Judaism from stories of the First Temple to Abraham’s sacrifice.
Take in two other beautiful Islamic monuments—the Dome of the Chain and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Then, continue to the Western Wall, an important pilgrimage site for Jews.
In the Christian Quarter, follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, retracing the route that Jesus is believed to have walked on the way to the crucifixion site. Outside the ancient walls, head to Mt. Zion, the 12-century Hall of the Last Supper, and the Tomb of King David, before finishing the tour in the heart of Jerusalem’s Old City.
