About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Charles S0 contributionsWonderful tour with superb guide -First and most important for me is on time. Our tour leader - Mr Itamar Buk - was on time to pick us up at the Dan Tel Aviv Hotel. We are a group of many nationalities. Second - this happened on the Purim weekend festival and we had a chance to have a local Israeli wine tasting during the first stop - over looking the magnificent Old City, Mount Olives. Explanations provided was excellent- and no rush. Jerusalem- Old City Tour - is really once in a lifetime experience. I am Christian coming from the most largest Muslim country in the world. All the while- I thought- only Jews were living in Jerusalem. I am totally wrong. 75% of population are Muslim and to my even surprise- the Church of All Nations - which is basically located in Golgota - where Jesus final destination where he was nailed and crucified, hang and buried and later risen - the entrance keys of the church were hold by 2 Muslim families. Simply amazing. Lots of walk - lots of information provided. Thank you ItamarWritten 16 March 2025

Itamar was very knowledgeable about every aspect of our tour and was ready and able to give insight and information! He also knew intuitively what we wanted and gave it all to us in a fun and friendly way! I felt genuine respect for him and had an amazing day in Jerusalem with a really good group of people! I highly recommend Bein Hardin and Itamar!Written 15 March 2025

If your looking to enjoy a tour that explains in detail all of Jesus' experiences thru our Isreal, you will not be disappointed with Dorit and Dan & Bein Harim tours. I love the way Dorit and Dan made us feel so comfortable when were on their bus. They answered all of questions and were so knowledgeable with all the history of Israel. This is the way to travel in Israel, you will not regret it.Written 10 March 2025

- andrewtQ6005LD0 contributionsIsrael is open for business, ask for Dorit and Dan!Unbelievable experience! We have been on dozens of tours and none of them come close to our custom tour with Dorit and Dan via Ben Harim Tours! They were so warm and knowledgeable that over the course of 3 days they became like family to us. Dorit with her charm and flexibility was always ready to meet all our needs and Dan with his driving and security made us feel like we were being pampered every step of our unforgettable journey. If you come to Israel and don’t book this tour you haven’t experienced the fullness of this special place!Written 9 March 2025
- Msa023230 contributionsTour director was wonderful! Our director, Tomer, went out of his way to make our experience great. He has wonderful energy, and was extremely accommodating and kind like all the Israeli’s I’ve experienced. I was skeptical before the tour because I had booked one earlier in the week where they forgot to pick me up and that I was never contacted by the tourdirector to apologize or even explain:( I would recommend this tour but I will say we needed more time at the museum. Bring water, and cash if you want souvenirs and of course, for tipping!Written 4 February 2025
- mattmA8389PY0 contributionsJerusalem Tour OptionVery informed guide and it was well organized with good quality for the cost. Pickup and drop off was easy. 3 of my other Nazareth, Jericho and Bethlehem tours were canceled so buyer beware if the group has less than 4 people as the tour will be canceled. They refund your money quickly within the week for me, which I greatly appreciated. Good luckWritten 9 January 2025

- 811martenp0 contributionsMasada Dead sea relaxI really enjoyed the trip! The guide Eyal was very provident and professional! I Learned a lot about the places we passed by. We went through the sites without any hurry. The things were explained in an very eupeptic manner. Although we passed through the Westbank in summer 2024, there was no impression of any danger on the way. Local people we found where very kind at all places. The stay at the beach was about 1.5h, enough to enjoy this extraordinary place. Thanks for a very nice trip!Written 26 June 2024
- 811martenp0 contributionsJerusalem in a rushIt was a really nice trip! The guide Abu Shai was very professional, a history professor giving courses in US universities, as he stated. And indeed a lot of historical background was given beyond the facts about the sites we visited. Furthermore information was always intended to be in a consistent (not always religious) context. I really enjoyed the discussions. Unfortunately, we went through Jerusalem with a great portion of hurry, not really giving us time to rest and contemplate as I would have preferred for such a magic place on earth. People were also told to don't stop at any stall or photographic site except the ones we were told by the guide. The excuse was that we had to pass by so many places in the given time frame. Finally we finished the tour in around 6 hours. Anyway I learned a lot and enjoyed what I found. ThanksWritten 26 June 2024

The convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off, combined with comfortable air-conditioned travel, made the journey stress-free. Floating in the Dead Sea was a surreal experience, with optional therapeutic treatments available. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Israel!Written 26 June 2024

I recently embarked on the Jerusalem and Dead Sea one-day tour with Bein Harim Tourism services in Israel, and I have mixed feelings about the experience.
The tour began bright and early, which allowed us to make the most of the day. The organization and timing of transportation and visiting various sites were impeccable. I appreciated that the tour was structured to provide ample opportunities for learning without making us feel rushed.
However, one aspect that left me somewhat disappointed was the stops for coffee, food, and souvenirs. While convenient, these stops felt like they had agreements in place to extract more money from tourists. Prices were considerably high, with a shawarma costing £10 and a coffee £5, which I found to be a rip-off.
I would advise future travelers to this tour to bring their snacks and plenty of water to avoid overpriced stops. Despite this downside, I must highlight the excellent tour guide who provided valuable insights and made the overall experience very enjoyable. Bein Harim Tourism's organization and the guide's expertise largely made up for the minor inconveniences during the journey.

This conpany's organization of "who joins which bus where" is absolutely incredible and seems to work perfectly. We booked a tour in Spanish and our guide Liat who guided us through Jerusalem was great at explaining and answering questions. Unfortunately the guide in the afternoon didn't speak Spanish and we really didn't enjoy his "guiding". He was quite chaotic, trying to be friendly and funny but he really wasn't and sometimes came off a bit rude...

We're glad to hear that you found our company's organization for allocating guests to buses to be impressive and efficient. Our team works hard to ensure a smooth and seamless process.
We're also pleased to hear that your guide, Liat, provided an excellent experience during your tour.
However, we apologize for the disappointment you experienced with the guide, the transfer drive to the Dead Sea shore can be with an English-speaking guide.

You could visit most of famous spots in 12 hours.
Which means sometimes you don’t have sufficient time in each places. Probably you won’t have time to get into the cave in Church of the Holy Sepulcher cause you only have 30mins staying in the church and the line for the cave is long. But the guide would explain all knowledge you need to know on the bus. The bus is quite compact so huge backpack is not recommended.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience on the tour. We appreciate your feedback regarding the tight schedule of group tours. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is a highly regarded site and a popular destination for tourists, which can sometimes result in overcrowding and long lines, particularly at the Stone of the Unction. To maximize time efficiency, our guides will provide explanations during the tour and strive to stay within the established schedule.

Overall a good experience! Our guide Michael was very nice, he knew so much and kept the group together and organized. The buses were comfortable and everything went well. My only issue was the following: They pick you up at 6:30 so you miss your hotel's breakfast only to take you to a cafe where they only sell croissants and coffee. So all you will eat for breakfast is 1 croissant and then you will walk around for 5 hours on an empty stomach under 32 degrees. Then at lunch you only have 2 choices, a falafel or a chicken shawarma pita which is very small, so you will still be hungry after. So you still have 3-4 hours to go on your tour and you are STILL hungry. I much rather pay extra to be picked up later so I can eat breakfast at my hotel and start my tour with a full stomach. Same with lunch, I much rather pick where I want to eat so I don't have to go to the Deadsea hungry. I arrive at my hotel at 5 pm starving. I understand tours like to help local businesses but again, i much rather pay extra and have a comfortable tour where I'm not weak and hunger headache all day.

On paper, an excursion very rich in emotion and history but unfortunately the guide translated practically nothing into French.
Because there were only 8 French people on the bus, so he favored the English... Knowing that we paid for a French guide, otherwise we certainly would not have taken this trip.
All the French were disappointed...
Also, he did not give us the choice of shops or the choice of restaurant...
Everytime. He told us it's at your own risk... so we didn't really understand the return instructions... and a couple got lost at the Wailing Wall... the poor people were scared to death. .. In short Guide not up to par, too bad because he really ruined our day.

Our tour plan and tour guide were phenomenal. We were happy to see a lot within a short amount of time. The sites in Jerusalem were spectacular and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable.
I just wish that they wouldn’t schedule the tours in such large groups. We had 39 people, and spent an hour or more waiting on people to show up so we could go to the next site. The tour guide set a meeting place and time and allowed us some free time, which would work out really well if everybody showed up to the meeting point on time. We ended up losing time at the Dead Sea because people in our group were almost an hour late after lunch, which I didn’t think was fair. But I also understand the tour guide is obligated to make sure she returns with everyone she leaves with. All in all, we enjoyed the sights and enjoyed the tour itself, but if the group was smaller, we wouldn’t of had the problems that we had.

If you're looking for a day trip that checks all the boxes, this is the one! Pickup from your hotel (or one nearby), drive to Jerusalem in an airconditioned charter, seeing all the significant places in Jerusalem, and finishing with a stop at the Dead Sea, we saw & did everything we wanted during this tour.
Only thing I will say is that your experience is dependent on your tour guide. Our guide allocated 30 minutes at a gift shop in the Christian quarter, which we could've done without. Although he was knowledgeable, he seemed a bit grumpy, and not flexible when we said we didn't need to spend 30 minutes at a gift shop.
The tour could be improved by understanding your group, and possibly altering (to a small degree) the amount of time spent in various locations. We ended the Jerusalem tour at a rooftop, ate fresh falafel after a long day of walking around the city in 40+ degree heat.
We spent about an hour at the Dead Sea, which was the perfect amount of time as it is quite small and not very commercialized. Make sure you bring sandals if you're visiting in June-August as the black sand is too hot to walk on - even for a few seconds!
Overall, would recommend this trip.

The tour guide paid attention to things like we get enough water, toilet, safe shopping, being mostly in the shadow etc also that we however didn’t visit 100s of places but few and those we had time to see so the tour wasn’t demanding, we didn’t run from a place to another. The tour guide is a real entertainer and was easy to follow the history lesson he provided in the beginning, when we visited a certain place we already knew what it is about - at least briefly. Our tour guide was Yoav.

Whilst in Tel Aviv with a large group of friends, we went on a tour to Jerusalem and The Dead Sea with Bein Harim. Our tour guide, Avishay, gave a succinct history of Israel, demonstrated a great deal of experience, knowledge and leadership skills. His warm personality, sense of humour and passion for his craft made the entire experience memorable. Great tour with absolute value for me, would definitely recommend.

Hi. before the reservation, I have some questions about this tour
1. Is it possible to swim in the dead sea at early February even though it is winter?
2. Is it possible to take a shower and change clothes after swimming?
3. Is is right schedule of this tour?
- Pick-up at Tel Aviv hotels(whereever, in our case, Grand Beach hotel)
- 2.5 hours in Jerusalem old city
- departure to dead sea Kalia beach(35 min drive away)
- 1.5 hours at dead sea
Thanks!

Hi,
I don't know about weather conditions in February to swim. There are changing rooms and showers available. Jerusalam 2.5 hrs is not enough to explore fully but ok to cover important places ..if you have a time go for full day jerusalam trip.
Dead sea 1.5 hrs enough for quick float .
Pickup will be time as per time at tel Aviv.
