Lisa of Hallelujah Travel created the most extraordinary trip for my husband and me to Israel and Petra in September 2024. Lisa listened closely to our goals and hopes for the trip, and created a personalized itinerary that perfectly reflected how we wanted to spend our time. She scheduled and managed all logistics for us during a two week trip that covered Israel from the Galilee down to Eilat. She curated amazing experiences for us – lunch prepared and served to us in the traditional Bedouin way, amazing tours of the Tel Aviv markets focused on food and on graffiti - and managed all our almost daily changes without any qualms. We visited holy sites all over Israel that were for Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Bahai’ism. Yes, don’t miss the Bahai’i Gardens at the Bahai’i World Headquarters in Haifa. There are so many places with historical significance or were mentioned in the Bible or Koran. In addition to all the well-known places you will have so many options to choose from! Lisa provided us with our tour guide Keren. Keren was knowledgeable and amazing at keeping us fully engaged, from learning at historical sites to understanding daily life in Israel. We also went to Petra in Jordan as well as Wadi Rum, a national park of desert landscape that was criss-crossed by Laurence of Arabia. Petra was an amazing city carved into sandstone 2,000 years ago and worth going out of your way to see. The logistics, both hotels and on the ground transportation, were exceptional, as were all the vendors and service providers. If you really want to see the holy city in great details, this is the way to do it. I just finished the tour with three participants and walked the walk. Excellent tour guide Arora(?) and saw many places the big groups wouldn’t go. Arora is very knowledgeable and did a good job. Thumb up.

We decided to book this tour to help us navigate Jerusalem as newcomers. It turned out to be an incredible journey through the amazing history of the city, through knowledge but also trough a deep personal connection. We appreciated Avi’s deep understanding of the culture, the people and the history of this incredible place, and how he makes you actually understand among the complexity of it. Our group ended to be only 4 participants which made a very intimate cozy group. All questions were welcomed and despite the scorching heat, Avi was able to take us comfortably to all places. Although a short time to see Tel Aviv is a big interesting city, very progressive that surprised me. We had a sightseeing of the city and an excellent walking tour of the old historial city. I did not rate 5 due to the quality of the lunch served. The lunch appetizer (small typical plates) were very good but the main plates were of poor quality.

Sometimes when things don’t work out as expected or promised, the inclination is to blame the tour guide or the company. In our instance, there was an issue that was unforeseen by both the guide or Hallelujah Tours. Immediately the company was made aware of this, it sprang into action. Not only did the owner of Hallelujah himself take care of it personally, but in addition to resolving the issue to all of our full satisfaction, we were offered a follow up tour, without charge. Unbelievable what a kind gesture can do. We intend returning to Hallelujah Tours as often as we can. This type of customer satisfaction is hard to find.

We did this tour on our first full day in Tel Aviv and recommend doing this tour early in your stay. Avi is a character and kept us entertained as he provided us with information on all of the sites. We had a small group of just 4 people on our tour, which was a very manageable size and made the experience more enjoyable.

Avi is the best guide! Knowlegable, funny, he has answers for all the questions you could have, his energy and knowledge about history, culture and the present Israel is simpy amazing!

This is walking tour to learn about neighborhoods in Tel Aviv /Old city of Jaffa and the history. It was a small group of 4. We met our tour guide Avi at a hotel from where the tour started. Avi is incredible - the best tour guide I have had in Israel. He is extremely knowledgeable, funny and engaging. I talked a friend into taking this tour and she thoroughly enjoyed it as well. I highly recommend this tour.

We had the most AMAZING day with Avi and Hallelujah Tours. We saw the heart of the Old City, met and ate with locals and saw it all! Avi is so knowledgeable, friendly and fun! He is well respected in the industry and puts the same energy and passion into every tour!

We actually did 3 private day tours in Israel with Avi and can't say enough great things about our experiences. The first day was Haifa, Rosh Hanikra and Acre and we learned so much about that beautiful area. Then it was on to Masada, Ein Gedi, and the Dead Sea for another full day of sightseeing. Lastly a moving and historic visit to Old Jerusalem. Avi is so enthusiastic and has such a love of his country that is just wonderful. We learned so much and had so much fun on our days with him. We can't wait to go back and visit the beautiful country of Israel with him again.
