- florencea5380 contributionsFun days with mix of history and natureFirst as a bird photography enthusiast , it was important to me , to go the Azraq wetlands first , as usually most birds are more active in morning , and Abu Anas was accommodating to my request , of changing the order of the itinerary . I was happy to be able to see and catch some good photos of several lifer for me . We were lucky to have great clear weather . Overall tour was great , we did not get a guide at Qasr Azraq, but guide at Kasr Kharana was funny and entertaining . We definitely recommend , I have extended family in Jordan, it was my first visiting this part of Jordan, and lean quite a few thingsWritten 24 January 2025
- florencea5380 contributionsLots of history in one dayEverything was well communicated , driver )( Mohammad) was accommodating. We took the 9:00 AM departure , and had about one hr at Umm Qais and Ajloun and 2 hrs at Jerash,. Depending on you interest in history , and geography , nature, I would recommend the earlier departure , as I fell a little rushed by the guides at the sites, which were not included in this tour . Other than that we had very good weather overall , the restaurant for lunch , food was very tasty .Written 19 January 2025

- Fearless138146874870 contributionsDay tour in winter 2025Bardaghawi, my driver made this trip very relaxing, comfortable and interesting. The timetable was full but at a good pace and the sites stimulating and informative- thanks for a great dayWritten 12 January 2025
- 590maddyd0 contributionsAbsolutely incredible and completely empty of other touristsI’ve been solo travelling for 6 weeks and this was my best day by far. My driver Mohammad Bardaghawi was extremely kind, welcoming, insightful and a great photographer! My Petra guide Mahmoud Alhamadeen was also highly knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend 2 hours with. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone with a free day, and if I had more time in Jordan I would definitely extend it to another day in Petra as there’s so much to see! I was shown beautiful nature, incredible history, local food and customs, and I felt very safe the entire time as a young solo female traveller. The normally packed sights were also completely empty because of the situation in neighbouring countries, however, Jordan has felt extremely safe and stable throughout my trip. The people here are desperate for tourists to start visiting again and now is the perfect time to be one of the only people in Petra, have the vast expanse of Wadi Rum as a private tour with no one else in sight and have an industry of warm people eager to welcome you.Written 11 January 2025
- Gihardjo L0 contributionsExcellent Trip and Driver!I highly recommend Younes as a driver in northern Jordan. His professionalism and friendly demeanor made our day trip exploring historical sites truly memorable. From the moment he picked us up, he was punctual and ensured we had a comfortable and well-paced journey throughout the day. What stood out was Younes's attentiveness to our needs and his excellent time management skills in following our itinerary. He maintained a perfect balance of being friendly while giving us space to explore at our own pace. His vehicle was clean and well-maintained, and his driving was safe and reliable throughout our journey. Not only was Younes punctual and professional, but his warm personality made the experience even more pleasant. He was always waiting for us at the agreed meeting points with a smile, and his careful driving made us feel secure throughout the entire trip. If you're looking for a trustworthy and friendly driver in northern Jordan, I can't recommend Younes enough. He provided excellent service that made our day of sightseeing smooth and enjoyable.Written 10 January 2025

- luischable0 contributionsAmazing tour - would recommend both the company and driverOur best day in Jordan. Bardaghawi our driver was by far the best tour guide I have had. He immediately made us feel comfortable, explained the tour and asked if we had any special requests We both came away with a much better appreciation of Jordan, its cuisine and people thanks to Bardaghawi As we headed out of town he bought fruit, fresh and stopped at a typical local falafel shop where he bought their specialty for us. Later we had freshly squeezed pomegranate juice which I totally recommend Along the way Bardaghawi pointed out interesting local sights and never failed to answer our questions Should I come back again to Jordan I would seek Bardaghawi out again. If you go south to Petra or do this North trip I would recommend this company and driverWritten 10 January 2025

We had a full day tour to Petra from our hotel the Kempinski at the Dead Sea.
Our driver Mohammad bardaghawi was wonderful. It is a long journey about 3 hours from the Dead Sea, he gave us information on the way about the region and we made a couple stops, one for Turkish coffee and the other at a local shop before we started the last leg up the mountain to Petra. We had a private guide for 2 hours once inside Petra, then we walked the famous 800 steps to the Monastery and it was so worth it. If you don’t want to walk there are donkeys you can get as well. There is a wonderful place to eat run by the locals at the top with a nice view of the Monastery.
It was not crowded at all due to the conflicts in the region but it is safe and can’t believe we experienced this wonder of the world with no large crowds, if you are wanting to go please do the people are very nice and welcoming to tourists and like to share their cultural heritage with you! It was a surreal experience to be able to travel to Petra.

It’s a horrible experience.
1. We booked via viator stating our hotel for pick up. It turns out the V&H asked for our confirmation 1am the night before the trip!
2. On our way to Petra, the guide (an obese guy) kept asking if we have plan for lunch and insisting that he can “arrange” that (similar to the previous 1 star comment!).
At the end of the trip, the guide charged us 75 JOD for a 20ish JOD meal!
3. He also “arranged” a visit to a so call souvenir shop which sold rubbish products.
NEVER EVER AGAIN

If I take your tour it doesn’t include the entrance fee into Petra (50JD) can you confirm I can buy this on arrival at Petra?
Written 11 January 2019
You can but the pass if you will be in Jordan for at least 3 nights. It’s like 75jd and it includes visa and one day entrance to many places including Petra...
