        LE Tour Disappointment
My husband and I booked our trip of a lifetime with LE to Egypt and Jordan and were disappointed on several aspects of the tour. First the itinerary was changed around and what we were supposed to do at the end we did at the beginning of the tour. We landed in Cairo and were supposed to stay for 3 days and then do the River Nile cruise but had to fly out the next day to Luxor to start our river cruise. The cruise was great and could not fault the tour guide Amen he was fantastic. Flew down to Abu Simbel then back to Aswan for our flight back to Cairo but had originally a 4 hour wait even though there was a flight to Cairo at 2.30 pm our wait turned into 6 hrs. due to the flight arriving late at Aswan, so we did not get back to Cairo until 10 o'clock that night not LE fault but disappointed that the tour company did not arrange something for us to do In Aswan after the Abu Simbel tour rather than sitting in an airport. The next 3 days in Cairo were nonstop and we actually left the tour on one day just to get a rest back at our hotel. The tour operators did not have any rest days at all scheduled and I was also annoyed that they continually took us to see products being made i.e. papyrus, rugs, mosaics and then there just happened to be a shop on the premises and all of these little stops were not part of the itinerary. Tipping was voluntary but, on the cruise, we were advised that we had to pay $150 US per person to be distributed between all of the people involved in the Cairo part of the tour NOT impressed to say the least. Our next stop was Amman arrived and straight onto the bus to drive to our hotel at the Dead Sea, this stop at least gave us time for a rest but our dinner in the Jordan hotel was Italian why didn't they give us some local food to try! Our stay at a Wadi Rum camp was disappointing definitely not 4/5 star maybe a 2 star, left to travel back to Amman 4.5 hr. trip with more touring in Amman all day, they were going to visit other places then go out to dinner this would have gotten us back to the 5 star Sheraton hotel at around 9.00 pm after travelling all day NOT impressed at all, I requested to go back to the hotel before dinner so we finally got there at 6.00 pm. All in all, it was a great trip but LE and the tour company need to look into arranging rest days in between the touring and not try to visit everything all in one day. You need to really check what the tour involves in regard if they have scheduled any rest days, and at this time, I would not recommend LE

        GORGEOUS AND FUN!
This is the most beautiful trail I’ve ever seen. It’s not easy, but the guides/staff were helpful and it’s worth it! Be prepared to get wet and possibly a couple of bumps or scrapes. (I bruise easily, so I got quite a few keepsakes!) We didn’t ask for a guide initially, but Ali found us along the way and helped us get to the end. This turned out to be really useful since it’s been a while since my husband or I did any river hikes and there are areas with strong currents. Ali also gave us some really good videos and pictures we weren’t expecting! We tried to offer him a tip, but he refused it. The waterfall at the end of the hike is so beautiful and it was nice having time to relax and play in the water before turning back. I made the mistake of wearing my wedding ring. It was my “travel ring,” but I still meant to leave it on dry land and forgot. At one of the slides, the ring came off! I was sure it was gone forever, but another guide, Sameer, was nearby. He put on goggles and somehow found it! By that point, I had been so overwhelmed with the beauty and experience overall, I just burst into tears! We were staying at the Mujib Chalets across the street, so we didn't need to use the changing rooms. We did bring towels with us and the staff offered to hold them behind the desk during our hike. They also gave us string to tie our glasses on since we both had to wear them. If you can get away with contacts, do that, but the string method worked well enough. The life jackets have been through some wear-and-tear, but they're sufficient to the cause. We took our time, playing in the water and taking lots of pictures and it took us about 2 1/2 hours to complete the whole thing.

        Nice day in nature
The hike of Wadi Mujib was great with some amazing views. I would definitely add on the Dead Sea visit if you have never been. It was a nice conclusion to a long hike. Ramouni was a great driver as well

Not worth visiting, nothing to see.. cant tour on your own. Expensive
This is really not worth visiting.. first for the price 20 Euro, entrance fee and the remote location. You are not allowed to roam around at you're leisure. You get in a bus with a chaperone at the visitor center. that drive you about 2 km to the Greek orthodox church souvenir shop to buy stuff then walk a about 600 meters to a site of Jesus baptismal a wooden structure and dry river.. then walk another 700 meter to the river jordan.. border with israel.. 5 min.. turn around walk back to another souvenir shop, where you wait for the bus back to the visitor center, you're not allowed to walk around or be out of the chaperone site.. he doesn't really explain anything.. just sit there.. you will pass 2 checkpoint with soldiers.. so not worth it don't waste you're time or money.. oh and the bus leaves on the hour

        Beautiful place to go
We were driven around by Mahmoud to all the locations. He was an excellent guide. He was so knowledgeable, easy going, and friendly. We had a different tour guide at the sites. All were so knowledgeable and professional. It wasn’t crowded. I recommend people go to Jordan the people are wonderful; the food is delicious, and the sites are breathtaking.

        Nice short trip to Jordan
Mahmoud has been a very helpful and caring driver. He even brought us to some places away from usual tourist routes in Amman. His connection with the right guide allowed us to spend a magnificent day in Petra.

Georgetown University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan!
Last month, I had the opportunity to travel to Jordan with my peers from Georgetown University. During our visit, we explored iconic places including but not limited to Petra, the Amman Citadel, the Baptismal Site in the Jordan River, and the Dead Sea. We also immersed ourselves in interreligious dialogue with the local community by engaging with universities, schools, and refugee camps. While the trip was mostly based on Christian-Muslim interfaith dialogue, experiences such as this one allowed us to explore local customs and traditions beyond the classroom setting. However, if there’s anything I would like to highlight is that our time in Jordan was made even more enjoyable thanks to the wonderful guidance provided by Zaid Tours and Travel. Our tour guide, Bassam, was AMAZING! His kindness and great knowledge could be seen throughout the different moments with him. Thanks to Zaid Tours and to the wonderful people of Jordan for such a beautiful and blessed journey.

        Good Job
The itinerary was perfectly balanced, combining must-see landmarks with hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path adventures. There was enough variety to keep things exciting, with ample time for relaxation and exploration at our own pace.

Unforgetable Wadi Rum, 1916 train ride and wonderful Basel and Zaid Tours
Safinaz Al-Nammari was very responsive and patient with my many questions. Basel was my driver and he made sure I had plenty of time to arrive at Wadi Rum and have my 4-hour Jeep tour in time for the free train ride which was fantastic and worth the time to see it. I was able to climb the Um Fruth Rock Bridge. Basel's English is excellent and he is a safe driver and I would highly recommend him. It is a pity that the Gaza war has decreased the number of tourists to Jordan and this was Basel's fifth trip since the war started. Zaid Tours and Travel is highly recommended.

        One for the bucket list
We had an unforgettable experience seeing all of Jordan’s highlights through Zaid’s 4 night tour. Zaid tours made our whole trip to Jordan seamless, convenient and well organised. We were initially greeted at the airport in customs to arrange our visa exemption and were then escorted to our lovely driver for the following days; Mahmoud. He spoke English very well, was genuine, lovely and treated us as if we were his daughters. Our 5 star accommodation at each destination lived up to the hype, with breakfast and dinners included. The food selection was traditional, delicious and of high quality. Our private tour guide Ana’s at Petra was exceptional and passionately took footage for us to remember this experience. Wadi Rum was out of this world, our ufo experience was one to tick off the bucket list. Quasey was very bubbly and had a great sense of humour. We had a wonderful jeep tour with more great photos. Floating in the Dead Sea was surreal. Most of all we felt very safe at all times! We would highly recommend this tour if you want to see Jordan’s best sites. Just remember to exchange cash for tips!

        The best trip ever!
We have just came back from our trip to Jordan and I can truly say that it was the best trip ever. EVERYTHING was perfect. The people, hotels, food, excursions and of course our guide Mahmoud. Mahmoud was knowledgable, patient (we were always a bit late meeting him) and always in touch with us. He took very good care of us every single day. His car was super comfortable- I had the best naps in that car! And he always had water and he even gifted me with some delicious biscuits after I said they were my favourite.I will definitely come back to Jordan and ask him to guide us again! Please don’t let the terrible situation in the neighbouring countries stop you from travelling to Jordan. The country is super safe and welcoming and they need tourism. I’ve never seen so much beauty like I saw there. Stunning. Go, go , go and ask for Mahmoud!!!!
