My wife and I hired Ali for 8 days during our visit to Jordan. Following the glorious reviews, we had seen on Trip Advisor, my wife and I decided to employ his driving services. The first problem we had With Ali. (He is just a tour driver, an individual person, not a travel agent company). In Jordan, This is against the law and considered a felony While we were Exiting from the airport toward our hotel for sleeping after a very long trip. Our car was pulled over for normal police checkpoints. This is a typical tourism police routine in Jordan, they are allowed to operate anywhere around Jordan to orchestrate a random checkpoints in order to keep tourism business in the country under the radar. The police officer requested our driver Ali show his company official paperwork / company documentation. Unfortunately, our driver Ali failed to present these official documents. "In a brief few moments" The conversation between the police officer and our driver Ali escalated into an argument, shouting. Inappropriately from our driver Ali. Eventually after this losing battle, the police officer wrote a fine ticket for the driver Ali and a summons to appear to the court. (According to the Police officer of the tourist police who spoke with us), The tour driver cannot be , not allowed to work to drive tourist without obtaining a license (a travel agent company) unfortunately, it became clear to us at the time that we are dealing with a person individually and not a tourist company. In Jordan, doing this activities is illegal, anyone who escorts tourists without a tourist license allows you to work in this field it is a felony. The Jordanian law criminalizes the driver who commits this act with imprisonment and a fine. Ali was very angry and upset, no matter how much he tried to control himself, unfortunately, he failed, and became an inappropriate person. My wife and I decided to skip this incident, forget what happened despite our fear that we are dealing with an individual person and not a company. We thought maybe if we give him a chance, tomorrow he will present a better personality as we expected and read about him. On the morning of the second day, we visited the city of Jerash and Ajloun Castle, and things with Ali were somewhat little of encouraging and more refreshing, despite some unwanted arguments, but It was a very acceptable daytrip. On the afternoon of the third day and during our way to visit Karak Castle specifically after our visit to the city of Madaba. My wife and I were trying to take a refreshing nap before visiting Karak Castle. Suddenly, Ali received a phone call and a new battle began (funny), he started shouting loudly, and I think he was swearing at that time. At this point, I felt he might lose control because of his high-level anger, so I asked him to pull over on the side of the road and resolve the issue with the other party over the phone before continuing. We tried to understand or know what happened we couldn’t, he refused to share but it was clear that it was something that hit a serious nerve angered him very very much. After we arrived in Petra, thank God safely. Ali came to the hotel and rudely apologized that he couldn't stay with us until the end of the program. It was really a very rude apology after all these foolish acts; honestly, we were happy with this decision. We had paid Mr. Ali the amount of $550. The remainders were supposed to be paid upon arrival to Petra because there was no ATM available. I am glad we haven’t paid full amount. Uselessly, we tried to get a partial refund for the amount we paid. I decided to avoid this matter, even though I believe that it is our right, but I let go of it The manager of the hotel we stayed in Petra (a very wonderful person) pledged to provide a professional driver hired via a professional tour company, indeed, he fulfilled his promise. The pleasure and comfort of our trip just began to appear from the first moments we met our new driver and the car that was arranged for our trip. Mohammed our great driver, a polite person, professional speaker, an expert driver in about Jordan attractions history My wife and I usually don't write any reviews. However, this time I think (our bad choice experience) happened to us because we were deceived by the too many positive reviews. Therefore, we decided to write a long report (about our bad experience) explains completely our disappointment so that others can read from our experience.

Ali was an amazing driver. He helped us get sorted with hotels prior to us arriving in Jordan. He then took us to all the sites. You can tell he is very proud of his country! He helped set up tour guides and a photographer for our annual family photos! Safe driver, took great care in driving as our daughter is prone to car sickness.

I have just returned from Jordan after an 8 day stay. i had contacted Ali Salameen to be able to navigate safely in the country. He immediately put me at ease. I got more than I thought. Ali knows his culture and country very well. He is very interesting, because he enriches your trip with his advice and his knowledge of history. His car is comfortable and safe. He is attentive and above all punctual for hotel or airport departures. His prices are more than fair considering the time he spends with you. He does not hesitate to help you discover things that are different from traditional sites. He has free wifi in his car. Ali is simply an excellent guide, who will accompany you safely in this beautiful country of Jordan.

What an amazing man! Ali made my family (wife and 3 young children under 6) feel incredibly welcome. He was always on time and always went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. My children loved him aswell as the luxurious car with WIFI!! He had the older brother warmth so you felt protected as well being able to have great chat with him. He is incredibly cultured having taken the time to speak to him and his travels around the world. Would I recommend Ali? After 5 days, I genuinely see him as a friend and would love to see him again.
