- keitho3980 contributionsDay tour to jeita Grotto, Harissa and ByblosoThis was a really enjoyable day out to jeita Grotto, Harissa and Byblos. The wonderful guide Albert picked me up from the hotel and we travelled to the Grotto first. This is fantastic set of caves situated under the mountains. We finished with a great boat ride in the cave. We then headed for Harissa. The views of Beruit are magnificent! If you are lucky enough to get Albert as your your guide he will give you so much interesting information throughout the day. After coffee, we went to Byblos. This place was so interesting with a mixture of lots of civilisations in the same place. We had an archeologist who gave us a mist interesting tour. Then it was lunchtime. This was absolutely delicious. I had the sea bass with delicious salads of the Lebanon. Thanks Albert, it was a great day!!!!Written 26 March 2024
- keitho3980 contributionsBeirut arrival transfer and city tourI was met at Beirut airport by Albert who was a delight to be with after a long day travelling. He collected me at arrivals and brought me to downtown Beruit to a very nice tour. We saw the port and shopping areas, government buildings, and mosques and churches. After the tour he dropped me to my hotel. I would highly recommend this tour if it's your first time visiting Beruit.Written 25 March 2024
- keitho3980 contributionsTripoli and Batroun day tripI went on this tour today with Albert the tour guide who was fantastic! He is very informative about Tripoli and Batroun. He is also very passionate about the Lebanon so you will be lucky to get him as your guide! We started off our day from our hotel and visited the Citadel and souk at Tripoli. We then went to the lovely town of Batroun where we had a great lunch at the Armenian kebab shop Great day out!!!!Written 25 March 2024
- samirbU1236XR0 contributionsNice trip, good guideNice trip in the South of Lebanon with a very helpful and professional guide. Given the situation, I was alone with him as most tourists avoid the area, which made it even better as we could tailor the tour towards what I was more interested in. The guide took the time to walk me through Tyre and Saida and on top of the sites to visit there.Written 17 March 2024

- Suspekan0 contributionsA very complete day.The driver, Albert, was waiting for us on time. After a very pleasant chat to get to know the three of us, we arrived at the Beiteddine hall. The great weather helped us on the tour of the palace. We learned a lot of interesting facts and Albert was able to answer all the questions we had. In Deir el Qamar, after a good meal, we visited several sites with stunning views. The return trip went very well.Written 26 December 2023
- 96alexiae0 contributionsBreathtaking views, Nice Weather and Lovely Scenery.Albert was our guide, and he was extremely detailed in explaining the historical importance of the places we visited especially the St Anthony monastery. We started the tour with a tour of Gibran Khalil Museum. It was nice to see how well the beautiful pieces of art had been preserved. Next we went on a walk through the cedars trees at the Cedars of God reserve in Bcharre. The weather was amazing. We had a really tasty lunch before heading to St Anthony Monastery in Qadisha Valley. The view of is breathtaking and we got to see the Christian caves and church as well as other preserved artifacts. Our guide was extremely courteous and explained the significance of each of the sites and artifacts we came across in detail. I absolutely recommend this tour!Written 25 December 2023
- Curious619855243390 contributionsWorth all 5 stars. The whole trip exceeded my expectations.. I was collected in time, very friendly guide, and the very informative. Both main visits with a professional archeologist. On top the lunch was excellent. Although hesitant about Ksara, it turned out to be a nice end of the visit to the Beeka valley.Written 30 September 2023
- ValentinaBuzdugan0 contributionsGreat tour out of BeirutJeita grotto is truly beautiful, Harissa offers some great views and Byblos is very charming. We had Albert as our guide and I was very happy with him: very informative, patient with our questions, flexible with the timing and easy going. The tour was well paced and I didn’t feel rushed - we took our time to enjoy all three places. Albert also showed us some other interesting places along the way. The lunch was delicious (not to mention plentiful, as typical of Lebanon :). Overall, I think this is a great tour out of Beirut and would very much recommend it and Albert as a guide.Written 1 September 2023
- inspirationm20190 contributionsGreat experienceThe trip was terrific with a small group full of life, a special thanks to Albert, who gave us detailed information throughout the journey and ensured that we got the most beautiful picture of Lebanon. The cave is beyond description, and Byblos is a fantastic area. Lunch was delicious, with a beautiful view.Written 14 August 2023
- alamaghribi0 contributionsGreat tourI took a trip to Sidon and Tyre with the guide Alain and driver Mustafa. They were both very nice, friendly and respectful. Alain told us a lot of interesting facts about the history of Lebanon. He also took us, upon my request, to Dar Debbané in Sidon, which was a beautiful addition to our program.Written 7 August 2023
- bayernhamburgeX615YX0 contributionsExcellent!!!A day trip I will never forget. Everything was perfect. Pick up from the hotel, then Sidon with the fascinating souk, followed by Tyros with the excavations and the harbour. It is said that this is the oldest city in the world, which has always been inhabited without interruption since its foundation. Then we went on to the historic Maghdouché. My guide was Susan, my driver Nasser, with both I had already completed the previous day the Beirut City Tour. Thank you both, you were great! The organization was first class. The price for the day tour was really okay. I will be back again and book some other tours with this company, thank you very much!Written 27 July 2023
- JustinG830 contributionsArt, Religion, and Cedars in Northern LebanonOverall, this trip gave a good discussion about the impact of art and Christianity on norther Lebanon, and by far the best part of this trip was visiting the cedars. I think the tour was impactful, but could have covered a more diverse set of facets to Lebanon's history (eg, not a religious leitmotif). There were also plenty of monuments that looked interesting and that could be seen from a distance, though we did not delve into their significance. However, our guide, Georgette, was a top-notch leader who had a nearly encyclopedic knowledge of Lebanon's history and its religious inflections. Her expertise and erudition made the trip worthwhile and memorable. I would consider keeping the cedars and diversifying some of the other aspects of this trip unless there is a religiously fervent audience.Written 24 July 2023
