Please don’t use this company for your arrival and departure, to and from Hamad International Airport. We had to wait for 20 minutes for a driver to fetch us from the airport when they should have been waiting for us. The driver was scheduled to fetch us at 4:40am from our hotel and half an hour later, the driver was still not here.

Very unprofessional excursion, we started at 15.00 which was too late for the second half of the excursion, Sheikh Faisal Museum. We watched camel training at the racetrack for 30 minutes from our van after which we tried to enter the museum that closed at 16.30, in other words we missed completely the second part of our excursion. In addition, our guide was not at all aware that the visit of the museum was included in our excursion. His poor English skills didn’t help in solving the problem either. When I asked for a refund from the tour operator Travel Designer WLL, they agreed to give only 15 % back of the price.

great tour. we had it in spanish and in english, justice for everyone, lol. ouer tour lady was from Spain and such great person, she very kind and careful with everyone, specially with my father, who is a elder person and do not speak english. qatar y en particular doha, es un país espectacular, realmente es sorprendente. they are doing their best to do it better. they know that progress is not only about amazing buildings, they are working also in having a better land for everyone, better laws. la educación es muy importante en ese país, realmente es gente amigable y bien comportada. gotta go back to visit al wakrah during the day (was there at night), other places also and the desert of qatar.

Although I booked a group tour, I had a luxury of having a private tour in the end. It was interesting to learn the history and culture at the Zubara Fort and nearby archaeological site. The guide was knowledgeable and attentive.

Sorry to be negative but it was just poorly run. The return trip being the worst part. We waited an hour to be taken back to our hotels. We were then all lumped on a bus that went the wrong way etc and in the end we just asked to be dropped at a metro station. Wasted 3hrs which could do without when tight on time

The company, Travel Designer WLL, is a scam. They never showed up. Our hotel's concierge had to call them 4 or 5 times only to be informed that "there had been a mistake". Hours later as we were leaving the hotel, a driver turned up saying we will not be able to "enjoy" the safari as it was already 4 pm and with the sunset at 5, there was no time to take us on the half-day safari. And now I have to fight to get over $300 back from these people. I hope Tripadvsior will help and support me. Avoid this company ...

Got an email confirmation and voucher of the tour with a WhatsApp number for tour operator. Was told they would reach out to me day of tour with pickup details. I had to reach out myself and response was extremely untimely and vague. Called multiple times and someone answered less than an hour before scheduled start of tour. Hurriedly gave me another number to call and hung up on me. Called new number given and was hung up on. We never got to do the tour and now I’m trying to get a refund through trip advisor. Terrible all the way around.

Our guide was very accommodating & we had amazing fun! From riding the camels, taking pics with a falcon (not included in package, but only 20QAR), the ride in the vehicle Al through the desert, sandboarding, and visiting the sea that borders Saudi Arabia, each experience was unique. Going in the afternoon was a good choice as well bc the sunset was able to make the photos come out that much better. We would definitely do this again given the chance.

Excellent excursion with a very interesting and knowledgeable driver. Obligatory stops for quad bike and camel rides and great experience going over the dunes to the Inland Sea. Would have given it 5/5 if not for the awful experience in getting back to our hotel. Had to get on a bus at the tour operator’s depot and the driver did not have a clue as to where he was going (even with sat nav!). Ended up with me having to direct him back to a drop off close to our hotel after an hour and a half of going around in circles

Great experience. I had Ali. Great guy. We did the Souk markets and learned alot about the history. and then went up to Cultural Village. T

With a nice guide we had some good dune-bashing in a beautiful desert landscape visiting the inland sea. Recommended!

My tour was supposed to be 2pm. The. Tour guide enquired if I could change to earlier timing and it was the best decision (departed at 11am) because the drive is long and if we’re to go at 2pm, it will be dark by the time I got back… =) Went to Al Khor fish market, saw tiny fishes by the boat! Spent 15 mins around there taking photos and looking aroun. Then went for mangrove seaside and took some really beautiful beach photos and admire the sea. Spent 20-30mins there. Finally main event was the long drive (probably an hour) to Al Zubarah fort!!! The long drive is pretty long and there’s just gonna be dessert around for most parts. Though, journey was worth it as it’s one of the best places to visit and reading the information panels paint a picture of how the place is. Awesome place to take photos!!! Reached back hotel at about 3.30pm (Doha starts to get dark at about 5pm-ish)

we visited the old city, the souks, the malls, there was a lot of new constructions planning to have a big city for world cup in 2020

If you go to the Doha corniche after the sunset it may be good because the lights of the corniche buildings are incredible,and the buildings ate the background of the bay of ataboan sea

We found this city very hot, interesting and friendly. The bay is amazing , busy area with wooden Doha’s were crossing across from the old to the new city. The old city area is currently being rebuilt as Qatar are hosting the Worlds Soccer in 2022, but one can still get around. The Muslin Art Museum is a must! The new city is lovely and is a must to see. The Doha’s are a must. Really enjoyed this stop over.
