Our guide was prompt and very friendly. Felt at easy straight away. We were quickly immersed into Emiratee history, with a tour of the Emiratee museum of culture and the old Royal palace in the heart of downtown Abu Dhabi. Amaa was very informative but at points wished she would slow down, that saying, she obviously had a timed slot, so maybe longer slots or take something out of tour. Would highly recommend

It was a wonderful tour. Our guide Soumia gave us a good understanding of the history and the Mosque and pointed good places to take nice pictures. Also the communication and information sent by Soumia before the tour to us was very helpful. Unfortunately we did not have a lot of time in Abu Dhabi, otherwise we would have asked her to make also other tours in the City with us. The Mosque is picturesque. We were there at the sunset and the different lights made it wonderful. The only negative side of the tour was that there were so many visitors, and although Soumia could skillfully guide us through the crowds, in case visiting the Mosque in the future we definitely would ask suggestions what time there might be less visitors, so that we have more time and space to enjoy the marvelous Mosque. But of course you cannot have 2 nice things at the same time - the Mosque with beautiful sunset and not so many visitors.

Soumia escorted my family to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. She was punctual collecting us from our hotel and very accommodating with our questions. We particularly appreciated how patient Soumia was with our kids, ensuring they understood each detail she explained. She assisted me with getting dressed in a abaya prior to entering the mosque and tirelessly adjusted our scarves ahead of taking multiple photos! I highly recommend Soumia because she is knowledgeable, pleasant and passionate about UAE.

the Mosque is all white. the tiles and carpet are amazing. There are tours available on site that explains every details of the architecture and decorations.

Overall, a very well coordinated and personalized tour of one of the most important Mosques in the world. The tour guide, Muna was excellent. She picked us up at the hotel in a timely fashion and was extremely informative with regard to the history and details of the mosque. Since it was our first time in an Arab country, and being from the USA, we were not sure what to expect or even how to properly dress. The tour operator (Hiara Tours) contacted us several days in advance via WhatsApp with a very clear and thorough explanation so we knew what to expect and were very comfortable with the visit. Muna not only conveyed the details of the site but more importantly conveyed the values of excellence, tolerance and coexistence that the UAE espouses. She was very personable and respectful, we were very impressed by her thoroughness and thoughtfulness. She really made the visit more about the spirituality and sense of community than about the grandiosity of the Mosque (despite how very impressive it is). I highly recommend the tour, and if possible with Muna.
