About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Marco d0 contributionsOutstanding Tour! Don’t miss.Excellent tour! The guides were extremely knowledgeable and professional. What a wonderful experience ! Highly recommended.Written 30 January 2025
- Julie F0 contributionsInformative, Fun & Exceeded ExpectationsOur guide for the day was Nestor. Bilingual in English and Spanish. He was well informed and professional. We loved getting off the bus to tour a site or an area from 5-15+ minutes. We stayed on bus for all 4 hours but got to have extra time for lunch in our own. Nestor encouraged questions. Well worth every minute to learn more about Bogata!!!Written 20 January 2025
- jefftK5670YD0 contributionsExcellent experience, great guide and driver.Highly recommend getting this pass early in your vacation. Our guide Steven was incredibly knowledgable and very helpful with questions/recommendations. We unfortunately left this until the end of our holiday but the tour was great nonetheless. I would get it sooner to get a good idea of the city and then use the others days as transportation and spend more time at each spot (like they recommend) Driver was great, trip felt perfectly safe and comfortable. Thanks again Steven!Written 3 January 2025
- katekG2096MZ0 contributionsGreat guide and itineraryNestor was a fabulous guide and seamlessly switched between Spanish and English so everyone could enjoy the experience. We covered a lot of ground in four hours and I felt like I got a real sense of this fabulous city. Thank you Nestor!Written 18 December 2024
- bxtmp0 contributionsBogotá bus tour gives a great overview of the cityWe took this tour our first day in Bogota. It’s a great introduction to the city and has helped us decide what neighborhoods to visit. Our guide was excellent and accommodating to English speakers (thank you!). We were there during the rainy season and weren’t THAT surprised it was storming. That made a sightseeing tour by bus extra appealing, and we were grateful it wasn’t canceled. We did get off the bus (they provided umbrellas) at a few stops. We were able to see a demonstration at an emerald store – where I also tried coca tea – then we did some souvenir shopping and went to a marker with beautiful fruits and delicious fresh juice. Our walk took us past some beautiful graffiti – I want to call some of them murals to give them judtice. The company offers other tours to get a deeper cultural experience, which we would have loved to do if we had more time. This tour was very much an overview and exactly what we wanted since we were jet-lagged and acclimating to the altitude. The tour allowed us to see many places we won’t have time to visit individually. In addition, the tour included museum passes that we will be putting to use today.Written 10 November 2024
- Anisa A0 contributionsBeautiful countryI took the tour guided with Camilo and Diego They are very friendly and cooperative They know very well about their country historyWritten 25 October 2024
- jason b0 contributionsMore of a hop on only once bus.I'm not sure if the bus even looks like the one in the picture because I sat in the corner of juan valdez coffee for 45 minutes and had a good lookout of both streets and never saw the bus. It would be great if there was a map that showed the possible areas the bus might stop at each point. It isn't really a hop on and off bus because there is only one chance to get on. If you miss it that's it as there is only one bus. I had one chance to use it and took a taxi to and from the first point. It was a real let down.Written 13 October 2024
- buckheada0 contributionsWill never use Viator again. Wasted time and money for no-show.No show, wasted entire morning. No response, no contact, dangerous to use when traveling to new country and they leave you stranded not spending the language.Written 10 August 2024
- chelskittzv0 contributionsSalt Cathedral ZipaquiraI had a nice experience in this tour package. Our guide (Esteban) is kind, approachable and accommodating. My experience of many tours that i had before, this is one of the best one. It makes a difference if the guide of the tour is enjoyable and enthusiastic. It’s my first time to booked a tour in tripadvisor and it wil not be the last..Written 14 July 2024
- Hell19070 contributionsGreat experienceI cannot describe how much we enjoyed this tour. Fabio has a wonderful way of introducing his city. We felt like we hired a friend for the day. He was professional yet personable. Far exceeded all our expectations. Another special thanks also for driver Carlos.Written 11 July 2024

- Jimmy H0 contributionsThanks Sebastian and Esteban.Thank you Esteban and Sebastian for being amazing tourist professionals. Bogota, Guatavita and Zipaquirá is better understood now thanks to the knowledge given by you while being on the tour. Your genuine persona makes traveling in Bogota much more friendly. This company is lucky to have you both.Written 2 July 2024
- dianasB4965MX0 contributionsGreat experience!Great experience and customer service! Booking the tour was very easy through their website. After we booked we received two emails 1 with our ticket and 1 requesting our ID information and when/where we were planning on catching the tour bus. The bus was very comfortable and great for our three year old to be able to see out the windows! On Saturday we took a taxi down to La Candelaria on Saturday morning and walked around part of it and walked Carrera 7 up to the International Center stop to catch the bus and to the part of the afternoon tour. We ended up being the only group on the tour that day. We really enjoyed all the stops and learning some history about Bogota. Some of the videos that history that the guide gave was not totally appropriate for our three year old, but luckily he was distracted by everything outside. The bus dropped us off at our hotel instead of taking us all the way back to the 93. On Monday morning we took a taxi up to the park and caught part of the tour that we missed on Saturday. This also included several great stops. We were lucky the other group with us was also a family with a young child, so they were very patient with our kid. If you have a family this trip might be a little pricey to get tickets for everyone, but it was a great way to get around the city and learn the neighborhoods, architecture, art, history and much more.Written 25 June 2024
- JaneinCuenca0 contributionsBest Private Tour for me!Mauricio was an excellent tour guide. And he was the perfect guide for me! We shared an equal love for photography and architecture and history. He knew all the places I would most like to see. And he shared them with an infectious joy and lots of information. He really loves this city and is able to share that with great enthusiasm. He made me fall in love with Bogota.Written 9 March 2024
- K1082MVamandat0 contributionsFun tour!Good tour. Incredible to see the Salt Cathedral. The amount of time at the Salt Cathedral was good and sufficient. It rained on us in the town so we didn't get to enjoy it as much, but our guide Kevin was very helpful getting us back to the bus as well as super informative about helpful.Written 1 January 2024

Loved, loved LOVED this tour!! Mauricio was simply the best tour guide ever, and I was lucky enough to have him to myself, which made flexibility and jaunts off the beaten path no problem. He is incredibly knowledgeable and kind as well. A gentleman and a scholar. (There are far too few of us left! Ha ha!)

We have a great experience in Bogota and highly recommend working with Andres and his team to setup your travel plans across Colombia.
We began with Stephano picking us up from the Airport and further dropping us to our Hotel. Alex Gonzalez our Tour Guide showed up to pick us up with the car at 2PM for the city tour which lasted upto 7 PM.
In the 5 hours, We covered various attractions in the city:
Chapinero
Usaquen
La Candelaria - Plaza Bolivar
Coffee brewing tour @Contraste Coffee Labs - Juan & his team are great passionate coffee brewers and I highly recommend a visit to the Cafe.
Met the Bogota Pass Team
Shopping at Downtown Bogota
Post the Tour we were dropped back at our Hotel where we grabbed dinner and then got out night flight back to our destination. We had 12 hours layover so this tour worked out very well.
We highly recommend reaching out to Bogota pass for any travel plans across Colombia and thank them for there help. Kudos to Them

we had the best day in Bogota with our guide Juan-he was very well informed and shared that information in the best way possible
he was never rushed and customized our plans to our interests and was flexible in all activities
he gave us more time than the tour was allocated for and shared a meal with us at the end of day and shared personal insights into the history of such an incredible city
it rained most of the day but we had the day of our lives because of his wonderful personality and organization

Alex, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and so congenial answering all my questions. He asked what we wanted to see and took us everywhere we asked.
The only negative comment I have is about the meeting point. The instructions were to look for a person with a red jacket but none of the tour guides wore red and there was no way to identify them as tour guides other than walking up to them and asking. I ended up asking at least 6 people if they were tour guides before I found the tour guide.

Dear Ruth,.
We are so glad because you had an excellent experience with Alex. Our idea is always that tourists live the best of the city and that you know our culture and the most interesting places, accompanied by the passion of our collaborators which is reflected in your happiness during the tours.
We feel that Alex didn`t have the red jacket that day, but we will take it into account so that in future they always have it on and customers can easily identify him/them, we greatly appreciate your comments that help us work every day to offer a better service.

I had the chance to experience the real Bogotá with BogotaPass. I discovered the city, I travelled in time and I also had the opportunity to taste Colombian flavours. By the end of the day I was full of joy because I've learned so much. I'm really thankful to BogotaPass and I totally recommend it without any hesitation.
