About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Gringa250 contributionsVery poor guidingAlthough we enjoyed visiting both places, in terms of a learning experience, this was not a positive tour. The guide, a very sweet young lady, had poor English skills and gave us very little information on what we were seeing. At Guatavita, we followed a guide who was speaking in Spanish and while he would take 20 minutes to explain about the region, she would talk for less than 5 minutes. By the end of the day, she was speaking only in Spanish. Also, the bus was very noisy and she had no microphone so anything she said during the trip was lost to most of us.Written 5 January 2025
- C331ZRrobertc0 contributionsGuatavita good; Cathedral very good.A long day, but worth it. Guatavita is a pleasant walk with some great views. Lunch was great. The Salt Cathedral is a must-see. The stages of the cross get a little repetitive, but the cathedral itself is an impressive place greatly enhanced by colorful light shows. There is an audio tour available in several languages.Written 31 December 2024
- KatherineW680 contributionsGreat tour!!Comfortable bus with thoughtful guide! He pulled our family aside during the all-Spanish tour of the park and kind of gave us our own tour in English. It was very sweet. When our lunch was a little messed up, he went over and above to get it right. And then the salt cathedral is just amazing. All around, a great tour. We took our 11 year old twins, and they loved it.Written 30 December 2024

Me tocó un tour con Nestor y Miguel Angel. Chicos súper excelentes, aman lo que hacen y lo hacen con pasión. Siempre teníamos temas de qué hablar y conocer.Written 11 December 2024

- nacardozog0 contributionsAn exceptional brief onset to BogotáDespite the difficult traffic in Bogotá, the tour is useful for learning about some interesting topics of the city's history, culture and tourist spots. We met again with the guide Néstor, his work was impeccable since he knows his city in depth, he wants tourists to know the city so they want to return. I recommend taking this tour in the morning because in the afternoons the traffic in Bogotá is chaotic and hellish.Written 27 November 2024
- nacardozog0 contributionsBeautiful landscapes, lots of history and much to discover. It is the best experience to get to know two wonderful tourist places close to Bogotá in a single day. Thanks to the guide Nestor for always being attentive to us and teaching us a lot of useful information throughout the tour, the driver Miguel was very funny and also did very well.Written 26 November 2024
- JuanKuilan0 contributionsGuatavita and Salt CathedralIt was very fun and interesting. It was frustrating because the tour at the Cathedral was in Spanish, so we purchased a walking tour handset so we could listen in English. However, the handset only talked about the religious aspects (stations of the cross) while the tour guide gave much more information about the mines and how they were built, history, etc.Written 26 November 2024
- X1377NGandrewj0 contributionsGreat spots of tranquility, ancient and modern history with an excellent guideI am very glad that I signed up for the tour. Seeing the Colombian countryside alone was worth it, but our guide (Nestor) and driver were awesome. Nestor explained everything the Guatavita guide explained to the group in Spanish, which was essential as my Spanish is limited. The sights themselves were amazing. The lagoon was one of the most incredible sights I've seen and the salt cathedral was quite amazing display of . The restaurant we stopped at was good, had great atmosphere and Colombian food. Thank you again Nestor for showing us around!Written 23 November 2024
- 803allisterw0 contributionsNot to be missed! It was a whole lot more than what I was expecting. A random guy singing opera in one of the alcoves. Very moving! Our guide Estaban took great care of us and made sure we took in the highlights.Written 20 November 2024
- reh40820 contributionsA memorable pleasureA very pleasant and enjoyable experience. An attentive and friendly tour guide who acted professionally and courteously 100% of the trip. It’s a joy providing this rating. Highly recommend this tour. Money well spent!Written 30 October 2024
- lilirs0 contributionsFantastic Day TripDiego and Carmelo (our driver) were fantastic. They were attentive and knowledgeable and really made the experience that much better. The activity itself was very memorable. The town of Zipaquira is quaint and full of history, with great little restaurants. The Salt Cathedral is impressive! Be sure to check out the video that details the history and the process. It’s really amazing to experience such a unique place. Diego does not accompany you during this tour as you have your own guided tour with the ticket, but he and Carmelo wait for you at the exit. The restaurant after the cathedral was a treat as well. The food was delicious and really left us full for the rest of the day. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic day!!Written 18 October 2024
