George is bongga!
Sep 2021
St. George is the most bongga tour guide ever! thank you for taking good care of us and bring us to the best winery, and khinkali in Tblisi. the drive and walk around the city was a lot of fun too. If ever you plan on visiting Tblisi, George is the best person to tour you around.

Very fun and relaxing tour with nice meal, and Wine!
We had an excellent guide. David was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He shared the information conversationally, not as if from a script.
We appreciated that he made us feel like visiting friends that he was showing around.

The sites we went to were well chosen and there was a lot of flexibility in where we went. For example, we'd been in the fortress previously, so we spent more time seeing other nearby sites that he suggested, or we spotted as we went along.

The meal (an option when booking) was at one of the highly recommended restaurants and was nice. The wine tasting was in a delightful, 17th century wine cellar and included several excellent wines made the traditional, Georgian, way. (We took a couple with us for our evening nightcap.)

Overall, I highly recommend this tour, and David. I recommend getting the pickup/drop-off, and meal options.

WOW, What A Walking Tour This Is! Outstanding!
Sep 2021
You Have Not Been In Tbilisi If You Have Not Experienced Giorgi's Walking Tour In Old T’bilisi + Funicular + Traditional Food Tasting + Georgian Wine Tasting (about 10 samples, finished off with a Grappa)! Giorgi's tour guiding skills are most professional, personalised, Giorgi is extremely well-spoken (English) and very enthusiastic in his mannerism. This 3.5 hr walking tour started at 9AM (as by prior agreement) and finished at about 2PM: an absolute awesome time! The group was small (Giorgi, one lady from Russia and me). In addition to the educational experience (which I like), it was also GREAT FUN. Great value for money. I recommend his Tour to anyone wanting to know more about the city's and country's history. Very well done Giorgi. Thank you so much! Wishing you all the very best, Pim

St George's spontaneous walking tour
Sep 2021
Okay so we accidently did a walking tour already on our first day in Tbilisi, which was similar to this tour's itinerary (sorry!). We informed our contact beforehand and our guide George was kind enough to make adjustments for us (thanks!). He asked us the places we haven't visited yet and took us there instead. That's why he is St. George to us - a heaven-sent, patient man haha.

He shared important facts about historical landmarks, and knows where the most instagrammable spots are. He made sure there was enough time for photos, questions, buy some souvenirs and look around, while still keeping with the schedule. The wine tasting and lunch was excellent. We learned how to properly eat khinkali now! St. George is great company, knows the roads and spots well, fun and helpful. We definitely enjoyed.

Fantastic tour of Tbilisi
Aug 2021
This was a fantastic tour and George made us feel at home in Tbilisi! George picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the starting point of the tour where he talked with us about the history of the city. Even during COVID, we were able to see all of the must see sights of the city. One of the highlights of this tour was the wine tasting as others have mentioned. The wine bar has very unique small batch options. I ended up buying a few bottles of what we tasted to take home with me. After the tasting, George took us to the best dumpling restaurant in the city -- it was fantastic!

If you are looking for a tour that will show you all that you need to see in Tbilisi in one day, this is it! I highly recommend asking for George as your tour guide as he is the best!

More Than Just a City Tour
Aug 2021
I thoroughly enjoyed my walking tour with Luka. Not only did we tour the old city, but I got a fantastic overview of Georgian history and how it still affects Tbilisi today. Luka speaks excellent English and is well-versed in the history of his country and this city. I enjoyed getting an insider’s view of the politics associated with many of the architectural points of interest including the Peace Bridge and the interesting but empty huge, silver Cultural Center. My only disappointment was the Trip Advisor description of the tour mentions a ride on the Aerial Tramway but it has been closed, along with all other public transportation due to COVID. Great tour; highly recommended.

Beautiful and interesting!
We had the best day learning about the city at different point of the old town, visiting a bakery and ending the day off with so much fun at a wine tasting. What an experience all round! Went back to the wine cellar the next day. Would def go back!

By far the best way to discover T’Bilisi!
Aug 2021 • Family
We did two tours with David and Meri, both excellent! David gave us an insight into current Georgian life, how various personalities have shaped the country through architecture and politics whilst Meri kept it fun for our two teenagers, picking interesting and colorful events and facts! All whilst walking around great scenery, with a clash of the old and modern. The bread at the bakery tasted great and the wine tasting was quite ‘unique’, with the owner of the underground cave giving us a complete selection of the best Georgian wines to sample! Thoroughly recommend this your - the best way to discover T’Bilisi!
