Excellent!

Having only 2 days to disposal for my Armenia trip, I feel i got the most if it on this tour. The landscape while driving was beautiful, the same goes for the sights along the road and in Yerevan, and most important, Temo was the perfect guide giving in-depth information while sightseeing. I recommend this trip to everybody who wants to get the essence of Armenia in a short amount of time!

Interesting trip with a great guide
Nice little trip across the border into Armenia.

You visit 3 UNESCO beautiful Russian orthodox Monasteries, as well as some interesting abandoned Russian curiosities like a cable car and mine.

Prepare for bumpy roads as Armenia is not as highly developed as Georgia, but that's all part of the experience.

The lunch stop was delicious and the guide, Mary, and the driver were brilliant.

Highly recommend.

Great Tour with a Great Guide
Jul 2019 • Solo
Irakli is among the top guides I have ever been with. He is friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. Be sure to ask for Irakli so your trip feels more like you're traveling with a friend eager to show you the sites. I would've never thought to get a photo of me in a dark church catching a ray of sunlight had he not recommended it; I now have a photo that makes friends jealous.

Best of Armenia gives you the best tour of Armenia. By getting this road trip, you literally experience customs at the border, see what Armenia is from the ground, not the air where you miss detail. Irakli will pull over if you see anything that catches your eye or camera. You'll see churches that are out of the way from a Yerevan-based tour. You'll arrive Yerevan to see the sites on your own, both day and night views. Plus, during the lunch stops, Irakli takes you to where the locals eat and makes great recommendations. This is a very authentic tour.

Lastly, I'm glad I booked with Real Georgia Tours. They are accommodating, courteous, and responsive. My tour started near the airport and ended at the city center, just as I asked, which saves a lot of time.

Amazing Trip from Tbilisi to Armenia with Irakli!
May 2019 • Family
We took the Best of Armenia - private 2 days trip from Tbilisi tour with Irakli as our guide/driver.

Every aspect of the tour was wonderful. Irakli was an amazing guide who was kind, courteous, professional, and super informative. In addition, he was a very safe driver as well. He went above and beyond to adjust the tour to suit our personal needs and answer all our questions. We really enjoyed that Irakli delivered information in a conversational manner, rather than through a typical scripted dialogue you find on most guided tours.

The tour itself was well organized, and all of the locations we visited were breathtaking. The visits to Haghpat Monastery and Geghard Monastery were particularly memorable and were the highlights of our trip. We would not hesitate using Real Georgia Tours and Irakli for future tours in the area and recommend the company to everyone.

The best tour
Me and my friend took this two days private tour to Armenia with our guide Zaza. The best thing about private tour is whenever nice view we pass by we can stop and take pictures. Our guide Zaza is also very friendly and patient. I feel like I am traveling with my local friend. Love this tour.

Temo and Beka, our tour guides were amazing.
Temo is very knowlegable and his english is perfect.
Beka drove very well, felt safe the whole time.

The tour was a great mix of beautiful scenery, rich history and a really fun brandy tour.

Greater taster of Armenia in a short time, I would definately recommend this tour

Fab trip! Amazing tour guides!
Oct 2018 • Friends
If you get a chance go on this tour! We had fab tour guides (Temo & Beka). They were professional, welcoming, good conversationalists, funny and safe drivers. I felt safe at all times with these too. Temo's english was perfect. The vehicle which I travelled in was comfortable, large and spacious. They are knowledgable and are very passionate in what they do. I 100% recommend both of these guys.

The process going over to Armenia was harmless, usual border crossing. Beka actually assisted us going through with our luggage. Once over, we started our journey to seeing the sites. The monasteries are beautiful, full of history, and great commentary from Temo.
We even had some adventure being stuck in the middle of a mining protest in a small town. Even then, the guys were very informative and allowed us to hang out with locals while we wait for it to blow over. Once we arrived in Yerevan after a full day or sites and driving, we were dropped off at our hotel (which you are responsible of booking), and then picked up in the morning. The guys did a wonderful job showing us around the city and again with good vibes and good chat.

Best part was the brandy/cognac tour (lots of tastings) and geghard monastery.

Overall, this was a great trip, Definitely worth the travel!

Thanks guys!
