          Eat your way through Tbilisi!
We had a wonderful, personalized experience on this food tour! Giorgi, our host, was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. The schedule of the tour was nicely balanced with eating, drinking and walking. In addition to tasting different foods and drinks, we learned a bit about the city of Tbilisi and the country of Georgia. Would recommend if you’re looking to experience Georgian cuisine!

          Time and Money Well Spent!
What a great tour! George was amazing, showing us the food culture in Tbilisi. I don't want to say anything about the restaurants that you'll try, if ever you book this tour, because it will spoil the surprise All I can say is we were so full at the end of the trip. As I told George, it was amazing because the places we visited were places that we wouldn't have found on our own! This tour also gives you an opportunity to visit the key places of Georgia. TIP: Don't eat too much before starting the tour. Be ready to walk a lot.

          true culinary delight
The pastries in Tbilisi are a true culinary delight! From fragrant khachapuri with its tender filling to crispy and fresh lavash, each bite captures the unique aromas and flavors of Georgia. The baked goods in local bakeries are always fresh, aromatic, and made with love, making every morning especially enjoyable. Highly recommend trying them to experience the authentic taste of Tbilisi!

Super fun, delicious and education tour!
Extremely delicious, educational, and most importantly, fun food / city tour! Our guide Luka was so knowledgeable about Tbilisi's history, food, politics, and everything in between! He was also just a blast to hang out with for 4+ hours! We loved every minute! But please come very hungry!

What a perfect way to enter a city you’ve never been to. Our guide, Luka, was knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to hang out with. A tour not only the food of this lovely city but also a historical tour. Can’t recommend more highly.

          An Amazing Tour!
To call this a food tour is a misnomer. Yes, we ate a lot of fabulous food. But it’s also a historical and cultural tour of this fascinating city of Tbilisi and of the country of Georgia. Luka was one of the best guides I’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lot because we do food tours in every city we visit. He was warm, knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, thorough, charming, and fed us until we could barely move. This was truly a memorable day for us and it is all thanks to Luka.

          Wonderful, fascinating, big day out
I went on this tour in May 2024. The trip was very interesting and enjoyable. Zezva was the guide. He was a very good guide who gave a great, intelligent commentary. He was very knowledgeable, a very good explainer and communicator and really looked after the group. Plus he loves dogs,,,😀😀😀.. During the tour, we visited 3 monasteries, a museum dedicated to two famous Armenian-Georgians and a derelict cable car. The monasteries were extraordinarily beautiful. Along the way we had an excellent, delicious lunch at the home of a local family. We finally got back to Tbilisi quite late as we got dropped off in the suburb we were all, coincidently, staying in. A very nice touch. I really enjoyed my glimpse of Armenia. A wonderful tour. Highly recommended.🙂🙂🙂

          Great food tour
This was a great food tour! Luca shared a lot of stories and histories about Georgian food and took us to small places that I would never have found on my own. I appreciated learning about the country through the lens of food and food culture. Of course, the food was delicious and no one left hungry :D We were a small group too, which made the tour more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Amazing views! Amazing people! Amazing guide! Very calming and relaxing experience! Not so many people during the tours so you really get to bask in the quietness and beauty of the churches and scenery! Plus a very good tour guide!

          Nice walking tour!
You should take this tour to really appreciate and understand the hidden gems of the city. Our tour guide was excellent in doing this. Don’t worry about the long walks since you will be rewarded by a very tasty bread, great wine tasting experience, and sumptuous lunch. Highlight for us was the wine tasting, very engaging owner of the store.

Super-interesting tour, impressive, competent and highly informed guide and very safe driver - must-do
The tour was great, our guide Giorgi was very friendly, providing us with a lot of information about Georgia, Tblissi, and of course about the soviet period, from the beginning to the traces still to be seen or felt today. We got to see monuments which we wouldn't have discovered by ourselves in the city, or without a car, which was great, and which gave us a great overview of this vast city. Highly recommended! We were impressed by his competent answers of each question we threw at him, also non-related to the tour-theme, he knew it all, and in full detail. Also, like other reviewers stated, and should not be underestimated, Giorgi is a very safe and relaxed driver, always anticipating (sometimes quite chaotic) traffic, so that no surprise movements or breaking happen at all.

          Best Trip, Best Food
Even on the bus, we could learn about the history of Georgia and Armenia, and I gained a better understanding of the things outside the windows. In churches and other places, we were given explanations of things that were not written on the Internet, which was very helpful. The Armenian food served was also very tasty! A great day.

Georgians are know for the hospitality, but George was like a family. We had a lovely 3 days trip with George, I would always recommend my friends and family member or the tourist who visit Georgia Tbilisi to take this wonderful experience of the private tour with these guys.
We had an issue with the hotel they cancelled my booking right in front of me as he gave my room to someone else. But as George saw the receptionist was very rude and behaving at his utmost behavior he steeped and fought for us.
George could have dropped us and gone as the hotel booking was not his issue but rather he helped us as it was late night between 02:00 am till 04:00 am looking tor a hotel ( peak season in Georgia)
George is very friendly, knowledgeable courteous and honest person.

Travelled with my husband and a few friends for our first trip to Georgia and we were not disappointed, we had the BEST time thanks to George not only because of his knowledge of Georgia and his ability to answer every question we asked but he’s genuinely such a great guy to chat/travel with. We were taken to some incredible sights like ‘The Chronicles of Georgia’, The beautiful old town in Tbilisi and the picturesque Sighnaghi. The wineries we visited were perfect family-owned genuine places with incredibly hospitable hosts - Arthur in Tbilisi and the team at Vineria Kakheti were so welcoming. We enjoyed the 3 days we were with George immensely.

Top Tips - Comfy shoes, Eat all the Khachapuri, Amber wine is the best, Go to the Sulphur baths and get a scrub, take some doggie treats for the community dogs and only drink good quality ChaCha!

100% would recommend to family and friends.

        Thanks so much for everything!

The best tour package you can get in Georgia. We had an awesome time with this team. Never felt that we are in another country by they way George was supporting us all the way from airport until our trip ends. The way this team explains about each places and providing effort to make us comfortable through out the trip is perfect. Will definitely come back to Georgia during spring and will go out again with you George & Luca. 100% recommended for a safe and wonderful trip in Georgia. Thank you again for the priceless moments, wonderful dinner, free gifts. Kisses for the baby girl. Miss you guys :) :) :)

We did the 3 day Georgia tour and 2 day Armenia tour together and it was amazing. It was interesting to see the contrast between the two countries, the beautiful scenery (in Georgia especially) and unique architecture. Taking children I was concerned with safety but both places were safe and friendly to visit. Very professional company and driver to travel with. Highly recommend!

We had a very nice and wonderful experience visiting Georgia with Real Georgia Tours with Mr. Temo.
Temo was so welcoming, friendly, witty and highly knowledgeable person in Georgian history and its culture.
On the first day with him we toured around in his minivan which was very spacious to Jvari monastery, Mtskheta town and Uplistsikhe caves and he explained everything so gracefully which made us understand a lot about history of Georgia.
On the second day we visited Ananuri fortress were we had a nice time and then we visited Gudauri snow mountains which was beyond belief. It was so picturesque place. There we experienced cable car and snowmobile ride.
He clicked a lot of pics and videos for us which I appreciate a lot.
The third and last day with Temo we went to Chronicles of Georgia, Tbilisi sea and visited Holy Trinity Cathedral. And as usual he was top notch in explaining things.
The best part was Temo is a very good chef himself and he helped us with good restaurants and recommended us to taste kachapuri, kinkhali, churchkela, mushroom with cheese and other local cuisines which we loved a lot.
Overall it was wonderful experience and highly recommended Temo and real georgia tours.

Looking forward for the next visit :)
