Kakheti wine region is definitelyTuscany of the Caucasus. Alazani valley that the town of Sighnaghi overlooks is just awesome and very picturesque. Kakheti is the home to one of the best wines in the world - try Okro's wines if you have the opportunity to visit Sighnaghi.Okro's restaurant has very good views on the valley and very good food as well as wine. Try this tour - you will not regret.

I went on this tour in September 2019. I still remember the taste of the bread from the baking masterclass. Wines were good but some of them had little bit more tannins than I expected. Although, the food was very, very good. Views from Signagi are breathtaking. Driver spoke good English and did his job very well. A trip to remember! Thank you.

Even though it was cloudy & cold and everyone was scared of the virus everything went very well. At Okro's restaurant everyone was attentive and all safety measures regarding the virus were considered. Nobody seemed to be stressed at the restaurant and the owners John and Jane were very nice. We talked a lot and tried good wines. Guide and owner of the company Zviad took good care of us. Thanks and regards in the name of the whole group.

This tour is a very good opportunity to explore Georgia's wine region. The good thing is that it is a private tour and you don't get disturbed by other people and don't have to wait for others all the time like during group tours. During the tour the first stop was to see how Georgians bake bread. It was a small and cosy bakery where an old Georgian lady baked bread. We had the chance to bake it ourselves but preferred just to watch. After that we left for city of love Sighnaghi. Wine tasting was done there in a restaurant with a good view. After that we had a small walk in the town and after the walk headed for lunch to Kvareli(we preferred to have late lunch so on purpose planned it like that). Lunch was done in a family owned restaurant with a nice garden. Food was good , hosts were very nice. Car was good while the guide very good. Thanks for everything.

I found the company in google but only after checking the tours & reviews on tripadvisor decided to book the one day wine tour. I was still a bit suspicious, however everything went really smooth. Zviad - the owner personally guided me and my friends with his car. We visited Ghvardzelashvili wine cellar in Telavi. The wines were good. We drank the wine made from the rarest grape variety called Jhghia. After tasting and lunch we left for Alaverdi monastery and tried Georgian sour yogurt in a cafe right in front of it. I personally didn't like it so much but my friends did. Finally, before departure back to Tbilisi we visited one more wine cellar called Lagazi where the owner Shota explained all details in English (the previous wine-maker did not speak English). Everything was very good except for too much food during lunch and I was promised that what was left would not be thrown away but given to neighbors. Thank you.

Good food and wine. Comfortable car and friendy guide. The weather was very good and the tour was well planned. Bread baking part was very enjoyeable. We could even see the wine fermentation process(check the first photo). Definitely a good tour.

Georgia is a very nice country with diverse landscapes, friendly people and awesome food. The wine region of Kakheti is very beautiful. I liked the city of Signagi most - it has some very beautiful views of the Alazani valley and the Greater Caucasus mountains. The restaurant that we went during the tour had a gorgeous terrace overlooking the scenery. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the Qvevri wines a lot. Owner of the restaurant Jane gave a very interesting overview of the wine making method. The tour was organised by Zviad (from travelist Georgia) but was given by a very nice guide Levan. Thanks for the lovely day!!

Impressive experience with beautiful sightseeing, delicious food, good wine, and an educated guide. Most importantly - SAFE DRIVING - because in this country many people drive like crazy. We have tried other companies, but I recommend Travelist Georgia. Thank you for your effort and regards to the guide David.

I'm an expat living in Georgia. It's a very beautiful country but moving around with public transport is a nightmare. If you would like to see areas better hire a car or buy a tour like I did. I with my friends, who came over from Amsterdam, travelled to Kakheti with the driver Davit on Saturday. Views on the road and especially from the city of love Signagi are gorgeous. If you would like to get drunk this tour is definitely for you 😀. Food was very good while Georgian so called natural wine differs from other wines a lot and has a very distinctive taste. Very good tour which gives you the feeling that this really is a very hospitable country. Special thanks to Zviad who organised the trip for me and my friends.

Because it's not so easy to organize things in Georgia yourself we decided to book a private tour. I went on the tour with my daughter and we both were positively surprised. Everything was well organized, driving was very safe, places were beautiful and restaurant yummy. Generally I'm not a great fan of wine but my daughter was very happy and she enjoyed the tasting a lot. The food was very tasty. Recommended.
